by far one of the best place we stayed with thishumantribe.com!! The place feels like home, rooms are around a garden and a lively common place where people meet and chat. Dwi cooks amazing fried banana and breakfast, we enjoyed the conversation with Rifat and Filia is always there to help. you can see the staff want this place to rock and they succeede. highly recommended that you want to relax for a couple of day or find direction for your next adventure. a place we gonna miss and will come back to whenever we pass to solo!

Doeloerkoe located near the palace and several local markets. When I arrived, i was the only guest in there, so Mr.Rifat asked me to choose the room. The garden in the middle of their house was very beautiful. This homestay is a family-own, his auntie live in the second floor together with the other family members. Mr. Rifat ask if i want to choose between Nasi Liwet or Nasi Pecel for breakfast, but i refuse in the first day since I want to get a breakfast outside the stay, but they still give me breads and coffee. His auntie also allow me to wash my lunchbox that i bought from home and parked my car inside their garage. 3 days in Doeloerkoe were AMAZING, WOULD COME BACK FOR SURE. Their room was very clean and simple. REALLY LOVE MY STAY IN THERE

Bu Dwi as the care taker was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was humble yet tasty and fulfilling. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was quite clean, except the mat was unimpressive. Will come again someday.

Sangat nyaman, terasa seperti di rumah (bukan di hotel). Bersih, kamarnya luas. Letak kebun di depan kamar menambah segar. Dapur tersedia utk buat kopi/ teh. Komunikasi semua staf baik sekali, besok mau sarapan apa, selalu ditanyakan terlebih dahulu. Sangat bisa utk menanyakan/mengomunikasikan kebutuhan kita. Highly recommended! Ingin kembali jika nanti singgah lagi ke Solo.

Wonderful family, great location, great experience”
This is a wonderful place to experience Solo and best of all was my time sitting with coffee in conversation with Abdullah and his son Rifat. Breakfast is delicious, my room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. The garden courtyard is a lovely place to read and the wifi was very good and consistent. The family is very helpful with information and guidance as Rifat has worked as a guide for many years. Communication is excellent with the family's fluency in English, Arabic, Indonesian. The home is right in the center, the markets just down the street. A great place to experince the city and the culture.
