It was a wonderful stay that contributed to a fantastic first time in Budapest. We will be back.”

The apartment was centrally located in the city. The access to cafes, bars and restaurants was exceptional and all within walking distance. We were also in a prime location for nearby attractions such as Buda castle, Parliament buildings and the Danube. Our host was very attentive to our needs and checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything and to see how our trip was going which was an unexpected but really nice touch that enhanced our stay. The apartment itself was in a secure location that required a code and key to get in, with the sitting-room overlooking a beautiful courtyard. The apartment was spacious, warm and perfect for three friends to share comfortably. The area was quiet at night which was ideal as we were up each morning very early to make the most of the city. The host was very accommodating to our after midnight check-in and gave us very easy instructions on how to check out on our last day. The whole experience was wonderful and really added to our enjoyment of exploring a new city! We will definitely return and tell our friends to book this apartment if ever they are visiting Budapest! Thanks again!

Perfect stay in Budapest :)”

From my first communications with property owner Dori, to the end of our 5 day stay, everything was wonderful! Dori is so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. She was always very responsive and willing to help in anyway she could. The apartment itself was great! So clean, spacious, bright and cozy- it had everything we needed. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was a bonus as were the beautiful plants! Location was perfect- very central in the 7th district and felt safe. So many bars, restaurants, and attractions around, as well as the metro. My mom and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay- thank you Dori! Highly recommend this apt and will definitely be back :)
Nothing! Just a heads up though that because it is in a prime location, it can get a little noisy at night but we had a sound machine so we could drown out any unwanted noise and had no issues.

Very lovely apartment in a convenient location”

The apartment is beautifully presented, and a really lovely calm space. Tall ceilings, beautiful plants everywhere, and very well decorated. It is lovingly cared for. My father loved the bench on the balcony overlooking the central courtyard, where he could puff his pipe in the evening. It was very handy having a microwave and hob in the kitchen, and Dori the host kindly left a selection of cereals and fruits for breakfast as well as coffee pods and milk. Dori was excellent at communicating on WhatsApp ahead of our arrival and even called the thermal baths for me when I asked her about the opening times as their website was unclear. The location is excellent - a short walk from the airport shuttle bus and lots of other useful bus routes.
Dori and I got off on the wrong foot because she messaged me shortly after my booking to tell me payment is due upon arrival in cash. I had to reply and say that booking.com allows payment by credit card so I don't agree to pay in cash, because I don't like carrying large amounts of cash on me, and she then replied and said that card will be OK but she would still prefer cash. I think it would be better not to send that first message - if booking.com allows payment by card then it is not really good to send a message suggesting that cash payment is necessary. But after that initial hiccup, I found Dori very kind and helpful so it was just a bad start. My only other comment is that it was very noisy in the street on saturday night, but this comes with the location - just beware if you are a light sleeper. Sunday and Monday nights were fine.

Location was perfect. Great facilities as described in the ad - clean, new, all working.
Didn’t bother us but if you are a light sleeper there are lots of apartments in the block that are used as holiday accommodation so some noise.

It was bright and airy with a really lovely vibe. Open space and lovely plants to make it feel comfortable. My host was exceptional and really welcoming. He made check in and out so easy and relaxing. Would recommend this property to anyone. Definitely a place to stay again when I am back in Budapest.

A charming place to stay near all the main sights”

We really like living in local apartments, not soulless hotels. The building is in need of some TLC for sure but the apartment is lovely and spacious with many charming features like parquet floors, high ceilings and lots of indoor plants. Even though it faces a busy street, we didn't notice any noise at night as it has effective double glazing. It's walking distance to many restaurants and the main sights of Budapest. The host, Federico, was very knowledgable and gave us many tips on good places to eat and on how to catch a taxi (download the app Bolt). The free beers and soft drink were appreciated too.
The extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't very effective
