Fantastic helpfull staff”
Had planned to stay at Dolphin Bay Resort for 6nights, but day 2 my husband fell and hurt his leg very badly. Other guests and the staff helped to get him up and got him placed in a chair, brought ice - and helped to clean the wounds. Later same day the painsgot worse and therefor we contacted SOS in Denmark and the told us to go to Bangkok Hospital in Hua Hin. The manager offered to drive us to Hua Hin, but we had our own car, so we drove ourselves. Dolphin Bay Resort contacted Agoda - so in the end we get a refound for half the time we had planned to stay - great servise from Dolphin Bay Resort. if we come back to Sam Roi Yot, we wil not hesitate to stay at the resort again.

Family oriented friendly, cosy & clean hotel”
Booked two rooms with balconies. Rooms were spacious and clean. Amenities were basic (no slippers, no tooth-brushes) but didnt bother us for the good price we paid for the location, excellent breakfast & friendly staff. We were impressed by the facilities for the little ones… pool, garden swings, indoor playrooms, bicycles etc … well if the kids are happy, the parents can also relax and enjoy too. Beach is just 30 secs away from the hotel. We arrived late at night & could not book the fishing trip for the next day. Do contact the hotel early…there’s a wide range of nature adventures waiting for you.

One of our favorite relaxation spots”
Dolphin Bay is great for families and young couples alike. The grounds are well kept and the rooms are clean. My husband and I have stayed in both a balcony room and cabana and we actually preferred the balcony room. The Cafe food is great, the beach is right across a small street, and the pool is clean. We took our two small dogs with us the last time, and they loved the area, too! We love that the staff is so friendly and can arrange day trips, too. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Awesome Vacation Spot”
My husband and I stayed here for a week while we were traveling through Thailand and India, and we had a wonderful time! The staff is SO kind and helpful, the rooms are clean, the location is literally right on the beach, and there are a bunch of places to eat within walking distance (that is, if you don't want to eat at the marvelous restaurant they have on site). I would highly recommend!

5 stars for family and 1 star for romantic get away ;)”
This place is the best place I’ve seen for children. There is so much for them to do and there is plenty of space to do it. And we drove and took days trips to the national parks for some adult stimulation. The food was excellent. It was loud with kids though - it’s not a place for some quiet time if you were traveling alone or as a couple. I don’t think that’s an issue for the hotel though. This place is almost always packed and there is a reason. I was 100% happy with this hotel, the location and things to do. Side note that there are often jelly fish in the ocean, but we didn’t go for ocean swimming anyways. Some playtime in the same with a little ocean water was good enough.

Excellent family friendly resort”
The room was clean and comfy. The facilities were superb for children. There was so much to keep my 3 year old occupied that I was actually able to relax! The staff were helpful and friendly and accommodated my very fussy eater! The location is excellent with the beach a stones throw away and monkey Island just a short boat ride away (the hotel will even organise a tour for you). I will definitely be back!

Perfect hotel for young children”
If you have young children, this is the place for you! The hotel has a mini playground, including a seesaw and swings (even toddler swings, which are virtually impossible to find in Thailand). It has a kids' pool and a large slide into the pool. They have a kids' menu at the restaurant and the food was good value and tasty. The beach on the other side of the road was very quiet and beautiful. We hired bikes one afternoon and took the cycle path up the coast road which was lovely. The only thing I would change would be the balconies, as there are large gaps between the balcony railings so I could never relax when my 3 year-old was playing out on the balcony. We will definitely be back!

Scooters and bikes for rent”
This hotel is perfect for families with young kids. We have a teen who also enjoyed it. We rented bikes and scooters to see the area. Breakfast was very nice. You have to walk across a road to get to the beach but it is a quiet beach road and easy to cross. Wifi is HORRIBLE but everything else was excellent. highly recommend.

Great value for money. Slightly older facilities, but well maintained, equipped, and updated. This is what sets this place apart. Many places in Thailand have "once beautiful, but poorly maintained". This isn't the case at Dolphin Bay. We were upgraded from a double suite to a two bedroom at no extra charge because of the availability. That NEVER happens. 2 bedroom unit on ground level was spacious. Kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for family of 5. Included a washer and dryer (this is amazing). Lots for kids (badminton, bocce, two play grounds, pathways to ride their scooter on), not to mention the simple, but fun waterslide. Pool and beach well kept. Food. Good value. Dishes were still well portioned. Kids menu was great. Good mix of local and international offerings. Customer service was good. Help and greetings right from the beginning. Bicycle and scooters (125 cc) are available for rent on site.

Lovely place for families with kids”
We spent again our time at Dolphin Bay Resort, great food, facilities for kids, swimming pool with slide, green playground, sand castles, jetski and even we have been able to bring our dog with us. So many nice places around for trips - 3 caves, hiking… see you soon again 😊

Great for families”
Dolphin Bay was innundated with families with young kids while we were there, which was great for us. This was our fourth stay and we'll undoubtedly be back because we love it. I overheard that there were something like 120 adults and 95 kids during our stay. Folks who want a quiet time at the beach might want to look a bit further down the beach, though. Those who want a party atmosphere, also not the place for you. It is a bit off the beaten trail, which is part of it's appeal for us, but it means a 3-4 hour van ride from Bangkok, depending on traffic. Most of the food is great, especially the burgers and Masaman curry. Didn't love the pizza sauce, but the kids kept wanting more pizza and the all day pancakes. Also, don't miss the delicious coconut panna cotta.

Kids had such a great time. Very pleased with the service too. Booked the refundable rate and was able to check out early to avoid the tropical storm. Management and Agoda were both super in making the change.
