bad compliance hostel”
The person in charge of the hostel was not friendly and presented us with several time restrictions for the use of common areas (including bathrooms). Some of them are quite inconvenient and unjustifiable since the cleaning of the area took place in a few hours.

Decent price, Amazing location”
I stayed at the Don Mustache Hostel for two days. For the location, it was perfect for a tourist as it was literally walking distance to the heart of Barcelona. The staff was exceptional, especially Julie, who went out of her way to make me feel comfortable during my first hostel experience. I highly recommend this hostel!

First time solo female traveler”
I was checked into the hostel with no hassle. They require a 10Euro cash deposit for a combinational lock to lock your things in your cubby. Do not worry you will get your deposit back when you return the lock at the end of your stay. I found the bathrooms very clean. The beds sufficiently comfortable to get a night's rest. The staff was amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. I needed to print my boarding pass and a couple other vouchers and they did it free of charge. They have a computer in case you need to use one. What prevents this from being 5 star hostel is the fact that I found a bed bug on my back pack. A couple days later 3 itchy bites appeared on my left arm to confirm there was bed bugs. I brought this to the attention to the staff. I know that many people come and go potentially leaving little traveling bugs behind that cling onto them, but the hostel should spray down beds and lockers. I felt the lockers are where the bugs hiding as my backpack was inside there.

Great hostel with reasonable price.”
I don't know much about Barcelona, but I think it is a great location for sightseeing. Bedding is very clean and has friendly staff. Printing is free. But at midnight I can't use the shower and the shower room is very small. Breakfast is not bad, but only bread and butter, cereal, milk and orange juice are provided.

Rough around the edges but great for a couple of nights”
Don Moustache is an average stay but a little expensive for what you get, as you'd expect in the centre of Barcelona. My night's sleep was very disturbed due to the amount of people in one space - the wall dividers don't block any noise so it's as if you're sharing a room with many rows of bunk beds.

Very clean hostel, friendly staff, central locatio”
The hostel was very clean, every bed had a separate reading lamp which was very convenient. The bath room was clean but rather small. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is good, close to big streets, metro station and attractions.

Really lovely for a Solo Traveller”
I love that it’s a small hostel near the Urquinanoa metro so the area is very walkable. Plenty of places to eat nearby and easy to walk to the shopping areas as well. The free breakfast was a really nice touch and the kitchen was kept clean. It’s an ideal place to stay if you’re not keen on loud parties and super late nights.

Hospitality and good design”
Not only friendly but really hospitable staff. They gave everyone presents on Christmas! Friendly and respecting atmosphere. Design-ish look. But a bit dark. Non-locking shower, so you have to put all your stuff to lockers before going there. Rooms have large lockers with power outlets inside(!) but you have to bring your own padlock. Also 2 outlets and reading light for each bed. But no hooks for clothes which spoils the room. Ensuite bathroom (which is generally bad idea). Everything is clean. There is small kitchen (stove with 2 burners, microwave, no kettle or boiler).

Basically an apartment turned into a hostel. If run a full capacity, it gets really tight. Eating table in living room for four pax. 2 bunk-beds in passage way leading to two bed rooms. Neighbor complained about bedbugs. "Wifi in all rooms": not in the one I stayed in; "in-room safe": rather a locker that cannot safely be locked up; showers: four showers available on smallest space for m/f each; no shower before 8am; noisy washing machine when spinning (early morning and late night) Overall: over-rated and over-priced for the standard offered

Good location ”
We booked a private room and stayed for 5 nights. Room is spacious. Christine, the staff for the night shift when we were there is friendly and helpful.She helped us with the change of towels as the morning staff didn't change ours and provided us with thick blankets as the weather was getting cold. Floor of the room is quite cold in winter so I advise Travellers to bring slippers.unfortunately, Room was not cleaned throughout the 5 nights we were staying there. Quiet and safe area but not too far from everywhere.

Place is fine, but to costly for what you get”
In 12 "luxury" dorm there where plastic mattress, no light and charging could only be done in lockers, not from the bed. Guests where not respectful for others, smoking on the small terrace outside with the door open, phones in lockers with alarms on in the morning. Unfortunately this negatively influenced my experience here Staff was understanding but could be more adequate to solve this behaviour
