Fantastic hotel and price”
Five minutes of searching on my Windows phone and I'd found and booked this superb hotel at an unbelievable price. I wasn't 100% sure it wasn't a scam, the price was so good. But sure enough, upon our arrival, everything had been booked correctly. And - I just have to say this - my partner was wearing black trousers and red jumper. I had on coincidentally a black suit, white shirt and red tie. And we arrived to find the decor of the entire hotel - everything - red, black and white. Extraordinary!

Funky hotel with great rooms”
We stayed 2 times over 8 days and found the hotel to be fabulous, so clean and funky with it's bright red, black and white colours. The staff were somewhat inconsistent....there was some new staff learning the ropes so that was understandable and others were extremely helpful and very pleasant. On our return visit, the staff member was very rude and abrupt as we had arrived early for check in and had arranged the week before to have our room available and she basically told us "checkin is at 3pm and do you want me to throw people out of their room so you can have their room"....so unnecessary! After explaining to her again what had been arranged, miraculously she had our 2 rooms ready as requested! Wait staff and kitchen staff were wonderful. A lovely walk into town and a great restaurant nearby in a local pub PLUS a huge bonus was a laundromat 2 min walk down the road AND a supermarket next door! Loved the lighting in the rooms and the free mini bar.

Modern hotel, with a distinct character, a bit out of town”
Reasonably priced accomodation in Passau albeit not in the old town. Interior design quite quirky but not too overbearing. Rooms are clean. Car parking costs extra whether you are in garage or outside hotel. Restaurant in hotel but also a good pizza just along from the hotel.

Great rooms, slightly out of town”
We found the hotel easily enough, although it is a couple of kms out of the town centre (not a bad thing!). The room was spacious by European standards, and spotlessly clean. The area was quiet at night. The breakfast was perfect for us - not too heavy if that is your preference. Maybe get quite crowded during the morning 'rush hour' but that is common the world over. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Weird hotel”
It was a rather weird hotel, with unfriendly staff. On the doors there are signs saying 'pull me, honey', 'push me, baby' - and there is a strange sweetish odor. The red and black colors made me thing I am entering an 'establishment'. Location is not really ideal - it is a 15-min walk to center of Passau. On the positive side, the bed was spacious and there was a gigantic flatscreen TV on the wall. Overall, I am not sure I would want to return there. A much better hotel would be 'Schloss Ort', I stayed there earlier, however, it was booked out during my trip.

Wir waren erst ein wenig irritiert, also wir in das Hotel gekommen sind. Es werden hier tatsächlich andere Wege gegangen. Laut Philosophie soll dies die Fantasie anrege. Dies ist gelungen. Für den Standard ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Modern and tastefully decorated hotel with lovely comfy bed. Really impressed with the free mini bar and good toiletries. Ideal location for those cycling the danube route. Would recommend.

Funky Hotel”
Great Hotel but slightly outside the town. About 30 minutes walk perhaps. Loved the huge television in the room with free selection of movies in German and English. Rooms were very comfortable and staff were helpful. I was not in the bar but the breakfast was fine too.

Overaull”
Modern hotel, but very noisy and no air condition. Once Window is open for cool air you will wake up 5 to 6am when traffic starts.

We really enjoyed our stay there. However, a couple of days later an extra charge for $45 CDN appeared on my credit card. I don’t know what it is for. I emailed them to ask but have not had a response. The staff was really great.

Fun hotel”
Easy walk across bridge to town. Nice Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk towards town. Fun decor, free movies and refreshments. What's not to like?

The staff was very kind when I checked in but they didn't tell me that I have to pay for parking, when I checked out was someoane else who didn't speak english just print me a €10 invoice for parking just tell me to sing and they redraw it from my card without any explanation

Same comment like on Tripadvisor!! Hotel had no AC to start with, no fans either, room was like a sauna! On top of the bed was 1cm high dust!!! Iron and iron board not available, breakfast closed on weekends at 10.30 but didn‘t look very appealing anyway! All guests complained about heat, as no AC even in public areas! Parking costs EUR 9.- even though it is a tiny parking place in front of the hotel, with no supervision at all! On the other side of the road are parking spaces for free and even more spacious! Nobody assists with luggage, baby bed was broken, children chair dirty, door of the bathroom was falling out, really dangerous as it is a heavy glass door! Shower has no curtain and if you shower longer than 3 minutes the entire tiny bathroom is flooded!! I nearly forgot the open condoms wrapping in the amenity box!!!! Staff is very pragmatic- I guess embarrassed as they know the problems. Management should do something about it, urgently. For us never again, also not in winter - if there is no AC they might not have heating either!! Complete disappointment and made our vacation a torture!!
