Used to be great, now it's just good”
I remember staying here before Covid happened, and felt like this was a really good quality hostel. But now, since it reopened, it seems like a little refurbishment is needed. I hope in the near future they will update everything: fix the toilets, doors, and more. Also, I know no one enjoys wearing a face mask, but if it's still law to wear one indoors in public places, then surely this must still be enforced. If the reception staff don't wear theirs, then sure, no one else will wear a mask and so it's up to the individual if they feel it's necessary. There are signs up, but they are ignored.

Perfect hostel!”
I was there for 9 nights in july 2014. I liked this hostel! It has a perfect kithchen - clean, convenient, with all stuff u need for cooking and eating. One more thing - it`s well located and a lot of people cross it so u can meet a lot of new people. Everything is new and clean! It`s a big plus! beds a convenient, wall outlet is close to each bad, u can also lock ur stuff. Well... if one day u ll decide to go to Barcelona and u`r used to live in hostel, The dream cube hostel is the perfect place to live

Nice place, friendly staff”
I checked in very late at night but that was not a problem at all. Guy at reception was very friendly! The only thing that was unusual is that I didn't get a card for the room because of some kind of problem, some guest lost it or it wasn't working, but since i only stayed one night I didn't need it anyways. Bathroom was good, I would have liked more hooks on the wall to hang my stuff because the floor was wet most of the time (people showering n stuff) but other than that, nothing to complain about. Thanks dream cube hostel!

Best hostel ”
Very friendly staff, nice common room, clean bathrooms and well equipped kitchen - these are the main features of Dream Cube. It's also located in nice, peaceful area, surrounded by shopsm restaurants and so on :) When I come back to Barcelona, for sure I will choose this place again.

A bit far from city center and metro”
The room i stayed was super clean but the shower room was a bit dirty. Staff were super nice!! It was a very calm hostel, i even didnt feel like i was in Barcelona... And a bit faraway from metro station

Friendly staff and clean rooms ”
Stayed in a 6-bed mixed dorm as a solo female traveller and had no problems at all. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The location is close to a bus stop and 15 mins walk from Barcelona Sants station. There is a cafe just round the corner and they serve really good bakeries! Only issue I have is the shower as it does not have any hooks apart from a short bench outside the shower cubicles. Not much problems but I prefer to have my clothes inside the shower with me than leaving it outside on the bench.

Newer place, clean and quiet at right times”
Location is further out from central city but there are always many buses. Also a Lidl supermarket not far. Hostel isn’t roomy but it’s functional. I liked their system of lights out, blinds closed, etc at night. I choosed it for the cube beds as well. Needs hooks in the bathroom.

Perfect Hostel”
I was travelling alone and met a lot of people in the hostel, as it is very easy to interact with people. Really good restaurants around for people who like eating. hostel is clean and with close public transportation. everything i needed

Good value ”
The bunks are very comfortable ,tolet shower block is ok for the money, the kitchen is good , breakfast is good for money , staff very helpful , it's 15 min walk down to metro , but a bit more to pull baggage up to hostel ,open bus tours easy walk to get on, many food places when you go out at night meal or beer ,

Quiet Hostel”
This hostel is pretty far from the beach and night life but in a quiet business area. It is close to shops and cafes. It was pretty clean the whole time but there was no toilet paper in the toilets a few times. Staff were fine and gave us a tour when we arrived so that we knew where everything was. This hostel has a common area, small kitchen, and laundry. The beds have curtains and plugs and lamps so you are really in your own world at night. I would advise that this is not a party hostel and it is actually difficult to meet people there. There are no tours or pub crawl. Most people are quiet and keep to themselves.

good hostel to meet new friends”
i was enjoyed to stay here. even it was a little far from metro, but i met good friends here, and siple breafast was provided to make me ready for tour of the day. friendly staff were really helpful to get attractions in Barcelona. I like it. Private curtains on each bed were nice to sleep and keep silent.

affordable stay in barcelona”
though it is quite far from metro, the hostel is clean and facility is adequate. you can take Renfe train from airport, arriving Sants station, then take bus no 32. walking a bit wont hurt :)

decent hostel but inconvenient location”
Best thing was the very helpful/kind staff. The hostel is quite a walk from the metro (12-15min fast walk). It is close to a tram that will connect you to metro, but that's 2 charges and 30-45 minutes from the city center. The bathrooms need to be cleaned more often, as well as the blankets they provide (they don't wash every time).

Desipite the distance, everything else was perfect”
Even though it is located in kind of far away from the center, everything else was great. I really enjoyed my privacy with a new type of bed. I would definitely encourage people to go.
