I travel often and this hotel stood out! The staff always helpful and attentive to your needs. For example, they suggested what coffee I would prefer (being from Melbourne that is important) and then remembered it and brought it to me each morning without me asking. I loved the location (as I did not want to be in the tourist Rambla district) but still close to the act...

i chose the b-hotel from good recommendations on tripadvisor.com and was not disappointed. the rooms are clean and quite large, plenty of space for 2 girls with their shopping and luggage! do read the note cards on how to turn on the lights in the room and operate the shower, else you may think they are not working properly! we took the aerobus from prat intl airport, ...

Leonardo Hotel Gran Via is located perfectly when visiting Barcelona. Close to metro and bus stations and Plaça d'Espanya (in case you want to take the train to Montserrat for example), and walking distance from the Eixample center. Super friendly staff, lovely breakfast and good value for money. Would book here again.

The room is of a normal size considering its location. But one can tell the hotel tried its best to make it as comfortable as possible. Personally speaking i think they achieved that. Someone used to complain about the glass wall between the shower and the bedroom, but there is a blind. Others complain about toilet separate from the shower, which is the most common set...

I wouldn't want to stay in Eixamples area for long, but it's nice for part of a trip, and Olivia Balmes is a terrific choice in the area. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is surrounded by great places to eat, drink, etc. Be careful about restaurant recommendations, though--I asked for a booking and was told the place I'd chosen was "touristic," which was great ...

Loved our stay at Astoria. Wandered around the hotel in the Eixample area , and experienced Barcelona away from the mad crowds of the Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Lovely bars and restaurants nearby too. Rooftop tool was a saviour after a long day of trekking all over Barcelona. Would recommend Astoria to my friends.

The very friendly staff made my stay quite pleasant!!! Small room appeared much larger by the cleverly designed room divider. It was beautiful! Not a lot of space for luggage, but it still felt luxurious. The bathroom was exceptional! Lovely shower and separate deep tub made leaving difficult. Irinya and all the other staff did their best to help accommodate my every n...

The photos doesn't do this hotel any justice. It is very beautiful. The hotel in general smell clean and fresh. Its very quiet. the fitness center is small but trust me, you can burned enough cal's, and the gym has a great view of the city. I had the duplex room when I stayed, I didn't want to leave the room because I was so in love with the room I was given. I never w...

I booked this hotel with only 1 day in advance and was able to get it for an excelent price. The hotel is very neat and clean and I had a very good first impression. Unfortunately, it didn't go all the way. Don't get me wrong, we liked our stay very much. Bed was very good, room was very clean, bathroom was nice and all, but I think this hotel cannot be classified as ...

This was the perfect hotel for us to stay when we went to Barcelona to visit our son who was spending the semester there. It was walking distance to most of the areas we wanted to see or a short cab ride to the others. Can't beat the price for such a great location. Also, I don't sleep well away from home, and had no problems here....that could also be because we w...

I hardly write hotel review unless the hotel has wow factor. First of all, ALL staffs are so helpful and friendly, location is right in the center, so close (within 5 mins walk) to the shopping areas, apple stores, hardrock cafe & etc.... In addition, you just need to walk (less than 3 mins) to the bus station to catch the Aerobus to the airport. As a foodie, we are...

The flat is in the best location for exploring Barcelona. It's right on the Paseo de Gracia, next to two Metro stations. It's located only a few minutes walk from the Old City and about 15 minutes from Gracia. The flat is spacious and comfortable with a nice kitchen. There is also a lift, which was great, as I was staying with my parents who are a bit older. Highly rec...

The hotel has a conveniently central location in the Eixample district. Because of its medium size, it works well for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel has function rooms for events. Our standard room was modern and had a very nice design. The room was spacious and storage areas had very adequate dimensions. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea...

Enjoyed a three night break here and loved Midtown Apartments. + Excellent location close to popular attractions and La Rambla but in a quieter street. A few minutes walk and you're there in the centre. + Nearby Aerobus stop, regular airport shuttle bus for €5.90 (Taxi €30!) + Beautiful, stylish and spacious apartment with dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Clo...

Very nice, smart comfortable hotel. Upgraded to a suite; perfectly nice room , but wanted the garden terrace booked. View of opposite street. The rain meant thar garden terrace wasn’t used., pool terrace or outside . Shame it was just lovely . Staff concierge just delightful . Highly recommend.

Martinval was a great place to stay, eixample is very close to the Centre and we walked just about everywhere. There are also 3 metro stops nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, though it would have been nice if there was a mirror in the room. The bathroom was kept clean. The staff were friendly and the 24hour reception desk is very helpful

Very nice small hotel. Easy walking distance to La Sagrada Familia. Good buffet breakfast. Helpful staff who explained how to park car in nearby car park using hotel's access card. Excellent wifi, secure & fast. Only it's small size spots it's from being 4 star.

i have stay majestic hotel for 4 nights during my spain tour. i will rate 4 stars out of 5 for this hotel. first of all, you cannot deny that it is located in a really good location, many many tourist points around this area. casa batllo, le pedrera, sagrada famillia, la rambla...etc.. so it is really good for tourists. good service with helpful staffs, it is reall...

Very kind, lovely en friendly staff. A perfect stay for a citytrip to Barcelona. The building is amazing, the rooms are stylish and the area Eixample is a very nice and save place to stay. Most people are local people. A lot of bars en restaurants nearby with lovely food and drinks. It really was a very pleasant stay....

We were a big family of 10 persons with 2 young children. Our first time in Barcelona, check-in went smoothly, staff were friendly and we slept comfortably. Location perfect. Parallel to Placa Catalunya, the street that leads to La Rambla. Also, a walking strip with all the restaurants and bars nearby. Shopping next to hotel. Wish we had booked this hotel agai...

A splendid Hotel ideally situated near to the Metro and for the Airport Bus. Extremely helpful staff who went out of their way to answer all our questions and even booked excursions for us. If returning to Barcelona would certainly return to this Hotel.

On arrival reception couldn't find our booking which we booked through Agoda but they sorted it out very quickly and we got early check-in at 12pm normally check-in is 3pm. The hotel is quite new so the bed room is big and comfortable with big bathroom and very clean. The next morning we went for breakfast we were surprised as the food is very tasty just everything you...

Right around the corner fem La Pedrera, this smart efficient 3 star hotel was quite a find. We got upgraded to a suite on arrival which had a little sitting area which overlooked Passeig de Gracia. Efficient service getting us a cab early in the morning. We stayed one night while transiting out of Spain.

I stayed in this hotel several years ago and greatly enjoyed my stay. upon my return to barcelona, I booked once again at Hesperia. I found it a little less inviting than my last visit. wear and tear of the years had taken its toll. however, the location in Eixample was still perfect. far away from the tourist crowds, yet walking distance to many attractions and clos...

Location is great, close by the most important attractives in Barcelona. The Staff was great! Excellent customer service. I was able to leave my luggage there the last day after my check out. The flat is modern, clean and cosy. Definitely I'll book it again for my next trips to Barcelona. I highly recommend it.

Needed a twin room under $200 on a last minute whim to meet my son in Barcelona. Hotels and apartments were scarce because of the Sonar music festival and general summer tourism. Found this 3 star hotel on TA and had to choose it out of desperation. Turned out fine and a decent location near Catalunya Square, so less than 5 min walk to the metro and 10 mins to La Ra...

This hotel was the best in our 3 week stay in Europe! Great location, extremely helpful and friendly staff always willing to assist in any manner. Rooms were very clean, super comfy beds and the best shower ever. An extra bonus was the wonderful 24 hr. buffet - fresh fruits, veggies, chicken wings, breakfast items, juice, beer , wine and much more. I would definitely s...

Barcelona Century Hotel is one of the cleanest, most comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in. However, if you do book this hotel, do expect that it is a minimalist hotel which provides basic needs and a good night sleep. The staffs are awesome in their assistance and will go out of their way to help you- Dario especially, helped us to draw out our destination and the...
Cheap places to stay in Eixample

I was checked into the hostel with no hassle. They require a 10Euro cash deposit for a combinational lock to lock your things in your cubby. Do not worry you will get your deposit back when you return the lock at the end of your stay. I found the bathrooms very clean. The beds sufficiently comfortable to get a night's rest. The staff was amazing. They are very friendly...

I love diagonal house! I was there for 7 nights and all of them were enjoyable. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always down to chat during down time. I saw a couple people complain about showers but honestly when you're paying $10 a night for city center, you can't beat it. I met some really wonderful people and there was always someone to hang out with or gr...

My stay was astounding. One of the BEST hostels in Europe! If you stay at Sant Jordi Hostel Rock Palace--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, pub crawls every night. Staff is very professional--Paolo is a 5-star team member along with the rest. You won't be disappointed if you book a room or bed at Sant Jordi hostel. Give them a try, see how you can experie...

My stay was astounding. One of the BEST hostels in Europe! If you stay at URBANY BCN GO--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, pub crawls every night. Staff is very professional--Cristina, Elise, Christophe, Wendy, Courtney, LAURA from MIAMI BEACH, SARAH from Wales, Sarah from OZ, Dexter are 5-star team members along with the rest. Danny and management do a grea...

The overall environment is better than a 3 star hotel even though it's a hostel. You could find a clean and well equipped kitchen, as well as stylish decoration. I stayed in a private room with a baconly. It's surprisingly spacious. Also, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The stay is nice and enjoyable.

clean facilities, thick bed and has wall adpater each beds and privacy own as well. staffs are awesome, super cool. Just one think i kind of dislike, is hard to find this location with google map. i had a stuggle time to find the hostel. but onecd you check in, you are good to go because now you know it. totally successful booking. recommand to friends

Location : very nice! the accommodations near Ramblas plaza are quite noisy but this area is easy to approach and more like native vibe. Staff: they are so nice!!! i stayed there 6 nights and they always checked whether i am okay. and every night there are their own program such as free sangria, it makes people get along easily. Cleaning: room was good but i think ...

First time staying in a hostel, and was fairly pleased with it. Staff was great, beds have privacy curtains, and very good location only a few blocks from city center. Only thing that was difficult were some of the folks staying there who had no idea what the concept of being mindful of others was. Then being next to the street made for a lot of street noise at night. ...

I was staying at Rodamon for 2 nights and for sure I will stay here again next time I’m in Barcelona. Everything was perfect. Location is great, pretty close to metro station (less than 3 minutes walk), in a walking distance to Sagrada Familia (I walked there and it was super easy and fast), close to Catalunya (everything is in walking distance), pretty close to this t...

How my amazing barcelona trip and stayed at this hostel. Its such a cozy place where we book a room with small balcony. Very nice room, super clean and the toilet is big. It's not hotel but up to hotel standard. They provide towel and exchange on daily basis. The room is very clean and bright and high ceiling. We have more than enough plug and we could charge our devic...

We had a corner room. Double bunk. The bathroom next our room can be noisy at times when the fan goes off. Yet it is an indicator of occuption. Sadly, the shower facility was broken. It does get clean second day or so. 8am is the worst time to use the bathroom. Love the free breakfast and free water for topping up. your own bottle. It was less thing to worry about duri...

It is highly recommended for those who want to stay in a quiet and warm hostel. (It is not for party animals and big fans of pubbing) The location is not the best, it takes about 25 min walk to major tourist places (e.g. Sagrada Familia), but it is not a problem if you enjoy walking or having a T10 Ticket. The room is bright, tidy and modern, with air conditioner (w...

My stay in the hostel was amazing. Everything is clean. The hostel is not so big which makes it kinda cozy. They have a pool table, computers, laudry machines ... the staff speaks English, Spanish, German and probably some other languages. Every evening they organize something FOR FREE (salsa classes, flamenco show, pub crawl) and you also get FREE DINNER or a Paella c...

Staff: friendly and helpful Location: a few minute walk to the metro station and bus stops, near the restaurants and stores Hotel: not the best, just ok. Keep in mind that this is actually a hostel, not really a hotel. So the facilities are provided on that premise. Our room's toilet vent fan was not working and since there's no window at the toilet, the whole room sti...

We didn't realize that we had booked a flight to Barcelona during a national holiday, so our hotel options were limited. This was one of the only places we could find, but still, I have a hard time justifying what we paid for a double room in a hostel. As far as hostels go I suppose it is just fine, with a nice common room, clean showers, clean kitchen, and a friendly ...

Beds are fine, some rooms small so maybe check them before going in. Small and nice place overall. Can hear sounds in common area, all going in and out at night so not best place for sleep. Having kitchen is nice. Coffee served in morning is very good. Near metro and in good area with cafes.

My husband and I had a great stay here! The staff was excellent! Alex at the front desk gave us the warmest welcome ever. Everyone made sure that we were well taken care of and were there in case we needed anything. The location was also good with plenty nearby including laundry right across the street which we needed since we had been traveling for several weeks. Buse...

The location is very good. Hostel is above the underground. The hostel was cheap and this is its best advantage. The furnishings was very standard. The bathroom was outside the room, but there wasn't any queue. The staff was very nice but not everybody speak English.

Great staffs especially the key person Alex, who welcomed us right after we walked out of the lift. It is basically a hostel however the room I had was with a bathroom. Room was clean & tidy, and the shower has great water pressure, nice for a warm bath. Overall, I would say the great stay at this hotel allows me to enjoy Barcelona. Not forgetting, there is a restauran...

The location could not be better. The staff were great and very helpful. There is parking across the street which costs €10 a day when staying at the hotel. The hotel is very basic but considering it is only a 1 star, we were presently surprised. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a tight budget. Just to get an idea of the person righting this review... We used ...

I was surprised at how small the room was, and the fridge was hidden at the bottom corner of the wardrobe. The shower was lovely though, and the staff helpful after that first tried to put us in separate (twin) beds even though our booking explicitly said we had one queen bed.

Good beds, shower, service, pool, sauna, small gym, food, minibar, friendly staff. Only free WiFi was on the slow side and too many kids (noise) in th pool were a bit annoying at times. Most annoying is the fact that we had to Check with four different mobile devices to get the best price to extend our stay in the same room (ranging from €150 - €225 depending on...

It was one of the most enchanting hotels I've ever stayed at. It is in a wonderful neighborhood (Eixample), with an endearing staff, and charming accommodations. If you're looking for a quaint Spanish adventure, this place is the place for you :)

It was a fantastic experience. From the moment of check-in to the moment of check-out, it could not have been better. Nothing was too much to ask for the staff, especially the room attendants. It was by far the coolest hotel I've ever been in and the choice of decor, ornaments and furniture made the place stand above its peers. The hotel claims to be 4-star but everyth...

we stayed in the wilson for 3 nights and found the junior suite we had pleasent, clean and very comfortable.we also stayed in two other hotels and found neither any where near as comfortable as wilson.the staff were friendly, helpful knowledgeable and communicated well with us in english. obtaining a bus or metro was within a close walking distance and many restaurants...

I found the rooms quite beautifully done. Very warm and welcoming. I was able to get a room with a view. The windows are doubled paned so there is no street noise. The location can't be beat. Right by Las Ramblas and a lovely walk to Cataluyna Square. The breakfast, while a bit pricey, is copius. Anything you can imagine to have for a breakfast including fresh orange ...

It was a great decision to stay at Catalonia Eixample. The location allowed us the access to the heart of the city, while it provided the peace and quiet of a residential neighborhood. Most importantly it was surrounded by some beautiful architecture, including a couple of Gaudi land marked buildings and fine restaurants. Most importantly, we were able to walk to al...

while there aren't many restaurants or tourist attractions near the hotel, it is located about 2 blocks from sants station, which will take you to all the major places in barcelona. it is about 10 minutes from plaza espanya, where the airport shuttle drops you off. you can also get to the airport from sants station. from the outside, the hotel doesn't look much dif...

Stayed here for a city break and couldn't recommend the hotel more highly, well situated a short walk from Plaça Catalonia. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is small but enough for a quick dip after a day's sightseeing. Would be delighted to stay here again.

From the moment we walked into the lobby we knew we were staying somewhere upmarket for a good price. The room was well equipped from the complimentary shaving kit to the mini bar however the tv is short of English speaking channels and for the females there's no hairdryer. The rooftop pool is the cherry on the cake and they provide towels so there's no need to squeeze...

The Casa Nova Guest House offers a small amount of pretty rooms in a nice house from the late 19th or early 20th century. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had a closet of good size, and storage areas were more than adequate even for a long stay. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea available throughout the day. For the use of guests, the guest h...

Sunotel was a great little hotel; being a first time visitor to Barcelona with very rusty Spanish it turned out to be a good choice. Staff spoke English well and were very helpful. The rooms are adequate with most of what you need although I would have liked satellite tv not just the local channels. Housekeeping is very diligently carried out but can be a little noisy...

I wanted to stay in the city center at a reasonable rate. The Cristal Palace was a good choice. The Internet access was very fast and free. I mention this because I later stayed at a five star hotel and paid a huge rate for bad Internet service. Also, I was pleased that my room was quiet. I heard from people staying at another hotel that their hotels were noisy....

I booked this hotel 2 hours before I were to fly from Asia all the way to Europe. The rooms looked exactly the same as to what it is shown on the website. My room was clean, and I love the toiletry bag that contains all the bathroom amenities. Clean bedsheets, comfortable bed, great TV channels, brightly-lit lamps, modern design. Great WIFI connection. Complimentary ...

We stayed in Ohla Eixample while visiting Barcelona, located very close to metro station, 100 yards from the underground exit. Reception staff was very pleasant and helpful.
