The hotel very clean, nice, beauty & decoration very up to date Staff very friendly, kind & helpful 1st room little small & no window, but still ok.. 2nd room so big, river view, have bathtub & balcony Can access to the river & walk a long the river Nice view especially at night coz can see a cruise just at balcony Everything ok & very satisfied however no parking provided..Difficult to find the parking Very recommended

Rare gem”
Location couldn't be better. 10 min stroll by the beautiful Malacca river to Jonker Street. A Grab will get you anywhere in the city within 10 mins. Hotel is full of character with a hominess I call rustic chic. Rooms are enormous, clean, well appointed and very quiet. The hotel cafe is a must do for evening supper or drinks. Even in the warmest nights, it's cooled by the river next to it. The pizza and pasta are to die for... Seriously good! Finally, staff is the make or break factor at vacay hotels...and 1825 excels in this dept. Friendly, professional and helpful, they made our stay special. I've stayed at the Majestic, Casa del Rio, Novotel in Malacca and 1825 is easily my favourite...hit my Value for money sweet spot. I wouldn't bother with the most costly river view rooms...the premium rooms are absolutely good enough.

Weekend getaway with husband and teenage boy”
We managed to book the room with a balcony facing the river. Love that we could spend time just watching the boats going to and fro. Hotel was clean and hygienic, love the private jacuzzi, and staff were nice and friendly. My second time here actually and would go again. Downside is the parking area is a bit further than the hotel and the space was tight, still within a walking distance. We also opt for extra bed, but the mattress was too thin.. that can be improved. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Stategic location and very nice place to stay”
My very 1st time book at this hotel..it was very strategic place bcoz u can just going any historical building at melaka by walking through the sidewalk of the river..it took only 5 to 7 minutes to reach..and the hotel also was very clean and the most important thing is all the staff was very humble and very helpful..i will repeat to stay there again soon..congratulations 1825 gallery hotel!!

Our most enjoyable stay in Malacca!”
1825 Gallery Hotel is our best choice to stay in Malacca. Had an enjoyable night with beautiful, serene, quiet and most of all cleanest hotel! My husband who is an OCD on cleanliness fully praised this hotel. Parking is not an issue as they have parking space at the back of the hotel. Their location is the best as it is just a walking distance to Jonker Street, Stadthuys, and A Farmosa. The view of the river at the back of the hotel is magnificent. Sin See Tai Cafe with The Curious Bakers pastries is just beside the Hotel lane and it is a must to try out! Highly recommended hotel with reasonable price and rest assured, we will be back to stay!!

Inconsideratef or late checkout at low peak ”
We checked out on Thursday. Requested for late check out the night before n staff informed shouldnt be an issue as its low peak. On the checkout day morning at 9am i requested again, they gave an certain answer as above. At 11.45am the staff informed check out is strictly at 12.30. if would like to extend 30 mins wil cost rm50 and 1 hour it cost u rm100. I feel so cheated as i've been asking for late check out since the night before n the front desk staffs kept saying shouldnt be an issue.. can can.. Ended up, we checked out at 12.20 feeling so disappointed wit empty promises by the front desk officer. Plus points is everything else. The washroom is so clean n comfy..

Perfect one night stay at 1825”
Had a good time staying. Very good location, near the kg jawa bridge that leads to a fleet of bars and eateries. Room was perfect. Stayed in the superior king room with a window. Although the view from the window was just the alley and we could actually look into the neighbor’s house, it was still okay as there is a curtain that can provide some privacy. Bathroom was clean and the water pressure was perfect. Decor was tasteful. Parking was a one minute walk but was free provided by the hotel. Will definitely come again and recommend to others.

Gem hotel in the middle city”
Did the last min booking and managed to get the room as we decided to stay one more night at Malacca. The hotel staff were kind to assist me in checking in. Everything is clean in the hotel. The location of the hotel is the biggest highlight. Famous eatery are in walking distance and is very near to Jonker Street. We really enjoyed the night walk along Malacca River. Will definitely come here again and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel's strategic location, close to the Melacca river and surrounding nearby tourist spots make the hotel very worthwhile to enjoy your vacation. With pond filled with koi fish swimming, make you feel smooth and calm. Apart from that, their backyard restaurant with nature scenery is a very suitable place for you instagramable photos!

Clean and strategic location”
The hotel is very clean and it is located near to Jonker street, which is famous for crowd and bad traffic. We decided to walk to nearby area to have our breakfast and dinner. The car park of the hotel is quite difficult to locate if you are new to this hotel. After driving past the hotel, turn left into a narrow street at the next junction. Drive for about 30 meters and you'll find a signage board on your right. Turn right and the car park is located on your right handside.

The hotel looks better than the photos, actually! It is right in the city centre. Everything is just walking distance. I got to enjoy strolling by the river, which is accessible through the back door, and there are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Grabcar is easily available to bring you everywhere. It’s the place to go if you want to enjoy exploring Malacca on foot or by public transport, as getting a carpark may be a challenge if you choose to travel around by car. Would definitely come back again, this time opting for the river view room.

Staffs are very helpful. This was my 2nd time to stay back in the same hotel. Location is superb even need a little bit walk to jongker street but i dont mind about it. room is clean. just the breakfast is not that impressive. suggest to have breakfast outside of the hotel

Very nice location (not "too near" to Jonker street where it'll be very loud and crowded. The interior of the hotel looks very new and nice. Rooms are all clean and tidy. Staffs were very friendly and helpful too. Would definitely come back here to stay again!

This place is very convenient to walk about in city town, a few steps to Jonker walk & all major attractions. The best were hotel super cleanliness, very clean comfortable bedroom, comfortable clean bed linen, firm bed, great environmental fresh smell, great staff & helpful staffs. Only check in earlier to avoid limited car parking space behind hotel.

Outstanding location”
The hotel has an outstanding location right by the river. The room was clean and had all necessary amenities, although not very big. Only slight drawback was that we dislike aircon and prefer to use a fan and open windows but the room was beside the breakfast area outside, which itself had quite a lot of mosquitoes, so we weren't able to open the windows much . We weren't too bothered though, the pro of the location far outweighs the cons.

Strategic location and safe”
Our 2nd stay at this hotel. Staff are friendly and we had compliment asam boi drink upon arrival. The environment in the hotel and lobby are nice. Easy parking at the back alley of the hotel. We just park there during the stay and walk to jonker or city bevause nearby, no need to face the traffic jam in the city. Suitable if you are just planning to go nearby the city and dont need to drive to go to tourist areas.

Beautifully Decorated Boutique Hotel”
Location is very good. within walking distance to Jonker street and A'Formosa. Very clean and well decorated boutique hotel. the only negative is most standard rooms are without window, and those with river view are very expensive equivalent to a 5 star hotel premier room. also they have closed down their cafe. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you can get GOOD promo rates for standard room.
