I had to change my place of stay since the bus to Ipoh got delayed for several hours and I ended up arriving in Ipoh at 2.00 am instead 11 pm/12 am. I have called them before the first time the bus was rescheduled, informing that I will be arriving at midnight. Unfortunately, the bus got delayed further and I decided to crash in other hotel/hostel nearby the bus terminal. This has cost me more but my main concern was my safety since I travelled alone. I didn't text or inform the staff bout not showing up that night but I didn’t realized that the staff texted me, asking about my exact arrival time. I only replied to them the next morning at 7 am. The language used in the text, how they interact with me was accommodating, professional and deserve a praise. Despite the fact I didn't stay there, they treated me with so much respect and I feel valued. I highly recommend this place because of its top-notch customer service.

I took the female dorm and got one bed in a room comprising of several single beds. The owners are very nice (although communication might be tricky as they don't speak English very well). It's near the railway station and everything of Ipoh can be reached by walking. One negative point: they turn off the AC during the day (that's ok) and turn it on during the night so that it gets really cold. Had to put on extra clothes.

Great location. Close to some local restaurants and attractions. And the town bus station(Medan Kidd) was within walking distance. The staff was kind and genuinely helpful. The common area was spacious and drinking water(hot/cold) was available. Renting a bicycle was free for the guests. Bathrooms were super clean with hot shower and good water pressure. Bed was cozy with curtains which gave some privacy. And Strong wifi signal anywhere in the guesthouse! I had a comfortable stay.

Place was clean and tidy. The lounge was very useful to go on your laptop or phone and do some work with a dry cafe to buy some coffee or snacks. Wifi was interrupted a few times though. The self-serve laundry was great and we saved a lot from paying a service. Bike rental was free for guests but you can only have it until 6 pm. Overall, good value for the price you pay.

GREAT location and price but not quiet and very uncomfy pillow. You must use a key card to get in and out of room which beeps everytime and the call to prayer at 5am seems right next door. AC gets turned off at 6 a.m but there are individual fans. I was the only person in dorm until staff came in at 11:15 and made a bed. I think the family lives there too. Not sure.

I was really happy to stay here as the place is really clean including 2 toilets. Got place to hang the clothes outside. Hot shower( have heater).Have washing machine.A bit hot when i entered in daytime because they only ON the AC at night. ( have small fan above your head at the bed)Its was easy when i out and i just placed the scanning card on the reception table and then check out myself at early morning.So convenient. Very safe place.

+ Female dorm was a huge room with a lotsof space to store your belongings + Free hot and cold water + early check-in + Close to bus and train station - staff doesn't speak English - you have to pay extra for towels - community room really dark and old - they have to sent you an access code otherwise you can't get into the building

The location is good, close to town area which is within 15 minutes walking distance. Accomodations are satisfactory, but during my time of stay the shower faucet was broken which made it extremely difficult to turn the knob. Hope the owners will replace it soon

Got a bit of giddiness, woke up feeling a bit tired. Oxygen and ventilation in the room is poor. Otherwise it is indeed value for money.
