Peranakan Hotel ambiance with excellent service”
Interior: The peranakan interior of the hotel is picturesque and is instagram worthy. Room: The bed is so comfortable and spacious. We took the double bed. There is enough space to put your luggage, safety deposit box etc. There is a window but there no view, however the infinity pool is on the same level and is really picturesque as it is overlooking the river. Water pressure is excellent and the provided soap etc is of excellent quality. You'll need to bring or borrow a compatible adapter at the reception as the socket are type G. Parking: Best to confirm with the hotel. There is a vacant lot after the building. Breakfast: I guess there is room for improvement for the breakfast being served. We only stayed for 2 night and the options are the same menu. The food is of excellent quality. I love the chicken, sausage, scarmbled egg and fruits. It's not a deal breaker. Staff: Excellent staff. They are very helpful and courteous. Sri and the other guy are courteous and very helpful

just leave the hotel but already missed it! love the deco, love the location, love the warming welcome by Sri..and really love the bed & pillow!! the nescafe machine in room makes me happy as I am a coffee lover..really great! the room really clean..love the deco..shining bathroom, complete toiletries, with bathrobe..if got slippers it will be better. the free breakfast was okay with me..half bowl egg with toast just enough for me. the hotel just next to makan avenue with a lot of food stalls with beautiful river scenery at night just a step using the backdoor. I enjoy my morning walk along the river. promised I will come back again!!!

A Choice You Won't Regret!”
I chose Aava hotel after lots of hotel searches and lots of reviews reading as I usually do, I wanted a place that is in the heart of the old city, and with a view of the river, and I did not regret my choice, at all! One of the best hotel stays I've ever had, and for a 3-star hotel that was just beyond expectations. The room and the whole hotel were super clean, like 5-star clean, the second you enter the hotel, you instantly feel the freshness and cleanness in the air. The amazing interior goes along very well with the theme of the old city, very peaceful and full of details. The staff was friendly and they adhered to my special requests. Will definitely go back again!

Awesome stay for our Short Birthday Trip”
Me and my husband stayed in Advantage Room 209. Located on tge 1st floor. There is no lift. Request this room if you bring light luggages or bagpackers plus want nearest room to the swimming pool. Pool is not that big but the view is facing the river. So u can watch boat cruising while u swimming. The breakfast is standard. Nasi lemak ayam rendang is delicious. My husband loves the omelletes. There is cereals, half-boiled eggs, fruits, toasts, coffee and tea as well. Some suggestion for future improvement; 1. To add orange/apple juice into the buffet. 2. Provide either white or wholemeal bread. Choose one only wont hurt. (i prefer wholemeal). 3. To add some desserts (ice cream for kids) and maybe 2 types of kueh mueh baba nyonya - (since its Malacca so there is a lot of tradional kueh for guest to try!). Overall, its a good value, staffs ,Amir is friendly and knowleadgable and great Peranakan deco just added to my repeat list. Def we gonna come back for longer stay. Thank you! 😊

Amazing hotel in the heart of Malacca”
I loved everything about this hotel, the spacious rooms, the peranakan decor, the location, and the pool. I highly recommend staying here. There is a cocktail bar about 50m around the corner and jonker st is about 200m walking distance. Only negative I had was that the mugs and plates were not so clean at breakfast, but I'm sure they will correct this.

Amazing and beautiful hotel”
We love this hotel! The place is so pretty and unique in it's own way. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was good and spacious. Another good thing is, this hotel is located 1-2 streets away from Jonker Street (6 mins walk). You can park at the hotel parking or open space parking and just walk to Jonker Street. Breakfast spread was basic but the nasi lemak was really good. However, the hotel can improve by having additional drinks i.e Juice, besides serving coffee and tea only. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Highly recommended!”
I love everything about the hotel. The environment, the ambient, bed, location, eh everything lah. They even allowed my parents to stay at ground level and surprisingly the next door is also the old folks. They even helped us to unload luggage from car. Breakfast is ok lah because no nasi lemak during our stay! But everything is freshly prepared upon order. Location superb. 2 blocks from jonker walk, and next to river. Easy access lah & dont have to worried about parking. Open parking is just 2 lot away & if u r lucky u can get open parking in front of hotel. So yeah highly recommended!

Happy stay”
room is clean, breakfast is normal but acceptable. Love the hotel interior design. Location is very strategically which is just 5 minute walking distance to Jonker Street. The only annoyed is dont stay at room with windows which is very noise at night. Beside that is the limited parking is on first come first serve. we ended out park beside hotel at our own cost.

The hotel interior is really beautiful, cleanliness is good, great view from the river view room, spacious. The hotel location is strategic as well. Walking distance to Jonker Walk. Overall had a great and pleasant stay here. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staffs as well.

Good hotel, polite and useful staff”
We stayed in the hotel for two nights. It was clean and comfortable. It was late when we arrived, we didn't have enough of local money (we had it in our own currency). There was no issues in leaving deposit in mixed currencies. It just started to rain, the staff offered us umberllas and advised us where to eat and told u for food delivery options (hotel does not serve lunch/dinner), and helped us to choose and order food. The other day we did not have to explain our mixed currency deposit to the oher person on the reception, and everything went well. We booked two rooms (additional one for parents) - that were on second level. The windows in both were darkened when we entered - they look nice form inside, however, there is nothing to see accross the street. The place was quiet for a good night rest, excluding the call for morning pray from the local mosque. I would recommend staying in this hotel!

Lovely hotel! ”
I wish we could have stayed longer here, i would definitely stay here again. We took the Family room, on ground floor. The room was spacious, clean with everything you need. Location was good, staff were friendly and helpful with directions and good service. Simple, sufficient, made to order breakfast with great coffee! Absolutely loved the comfortable beds with many pillows too. Bathroom was huge with lovely bathtub. Toiletries had a beautiful scent. The hotel itself is well kept with beautiful peranakan antiques and decor in the lobby and breakfast area too. Jonker walk is within walking distance. Amongst many other restaurants and cafes. A most delightful place to stay for some R & T.

Perfect location next to the river, hotel parking just opposite the road, only few lots but we always had parking. Pretty boutique hotel with back door access to the river. Everything else was ok, room was clean but just one thing, our ground floor room had a stench probably from the bathroom

Our stay was in the grand suite - balcony a huge bonus and plenty of space. Only criticism would be breakfast, options limited however this is mitigated by the fact that is a small hotel and would be impractical to provide a buffet with loads of choice - also plenty of options very nearby, due to excellent location Architecture lovely - classic Peranakan...

Good value for money”
Nice newly restored peranakan shophouse next to the river. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was minimal though. Nasi lemak only on weekends. Toast and eggs on weekdays. Good chendol bingsu place next door beside the river.

Central location, but easy to access by car. Their own parking space lies just opposite the building. Friendly and helpful staff, nice and clean rooms, refreshing pool. For breakfast freshly prepared omelettes, pancakes, etc.

Definately a place to stay in Melaka”
I have been to many boutique hotel in Melaka and this one is so far on top of my list as it is very cozy, felt at home, clean and well maintain, friendly staff, great location next to the river behind and few min walk to Jonker street avoiding the busy section.
