We're really enjoyed staying here. They have a nice room with really friendly staff. The beach is really nice and clean. What we loved the most here was the food. If you stay at this place don't forget to try Pizza!!! They are super yummy 😋

On the beach! Outstanding breakfast!”
Nice location on the beach although the water is shallow for swimming. The restaurant served excellent food with a great view so we had a romantic dinner on the beach and n in cripple breakfast of eggs Benedict, fresh fruit, congee, juice, croissants, etc. Wonderful cook and staff.

Beautyful Place in need of tlc”
I find this resort very nice and relaxing with wonderful staff but, I do not know how the other rooms are but I get the feeling it needs a renovation. wrong paint on the wood makes it rot, furniture has problems with the air conditioning and humidity. It just needs some TLC , maybe it's Covid that has prohibited that. Very good restaurant, highly recommended 👌

Definitely worth spending extra for the pool view room. Interesting design aesthetic. Pool, beach view and bathtub were really nice. Restaraunt was overpriced average food. Pillows, towels and room accents were unfortunately low quality.

The room is extremely small. Glass window & door facing main passage & curtain cannot fully close, lacking in privacy. Shower dripping from the top shower head while using shower spray, very annoying. Hot water is either too hot when turned on or too cold when turned off, unable to adjust temperature. Window in bathroom is partly open without insect screen & unable to close, insects come into the room. Breakfast time is set by session, had to take the early session because the later one is fully booked! Too many problems for such an expensive hotel. Extremely disappointed, better stay elsewhere.

Stunning Private Peaceful - Heaven ”
Private and luxurious. We had the best ocean front villa #6 - We experienced a variety of weather conditions too. The heavy downpours provide a romantic element to the visit. A lovely window box to sit in with the rain streaming down the windows. The beach was awesome and tranquil in he beginning though a big storm came through and that was the end of that, for our brief stay. So we just luxuriate in the awesome waterfront pool, napped, enjoyed the two daily cocktail hours, got up early enjoyed the stunning sunrises and delicious ala carte breakfast with and endless supply of delicious food. We took a short tour into the local market in the evening where we got heaps of locally made snacks. This is Absolute heaven though remember you can't control the weather you can control your own imagination though, read relax meditate & luxuriate there are taichi and yoga classes & massage spa. Plan your time to maximise your experience, we did and Aava resort at Khanom was unforgettable.

I LOVE Aava Resort! Right before our arrival, I read a very negative recent review (something about inedible breakfasts and bad facilities) which worried me a bit--I was pleasantly surprised to find the opposite (what that guy was smoking, I don't know... perhaps he was a competitor?). This is the kind of place where I would love to bring extended family and future kids to just all hang out together, like a family reunion--too bad it is a bit out of the way, travel-wise. I really loved the aesthetics of the place, from the rooms (inside and out) to the wooden deck walkways, to the gorgeous pool layout in front of the pool villas and the beautiful view of the sea while sitting in the pool. One plus about the pool is there is this built-in underwater seating "shelf/bench" that goes all around the edge of the pool so you can just "sit" there in the water, enjoying your surroundings. This was a nice splurge on our trip since we tried to stay at mid-range level priced places in other places in Thailand. Breakfasts were quite nice, fresh bread and rolls provided with butter and jam, and then you could order any variety of the various breakfasts. Be prepared for things to sometimes not taste "quite right" (i.e., skip the french toast) but other things were SO delicious, like the yogurt topped with a sprinkle of blueberries and a drizzle of honey and berry juice, and their freshly blended "smoothie" drink. Definitely worth visiting during the low season (for the price), plus it is less crowded. If price is an issue, the basic rooms really are quite enough (no need to upgrade). The hotel restaurant meals really are too expensive but the front desk was very helpful in that they provided a free shuttle service to a nearby restaurant at another hotel (5 mins away)--the food there was much more reasonably priced and quite delicious.
