satisfying”
we stayed there for 3 days. it is located near the city centre. we walked for about only 5-8 minutes to the town (where all the historical buildings is located,i.e. a famosa, all the museums, as well as the shopping mall, i.e. dataran pahlawan, mahkota parade) we actually didn't use any public transport to visit all the historical buildings. all of it are within walking distance. plus, if u are muslims and looking for halal food, in front of the hotel there is old town white house kopitiam. the room is in clean and good condition. all the necessities are there, the hot shower, towels, toiletries are provided. one funny thing is, the breakfast provided is only 2pcs of bread with butter and jam.and coffe or tea. so, dont expect a fancy breakfast buffet. overall, we are satisfied with accordian hotel! one bonus: the staffs are very friendly and helpful.they even gave us the map and direction to guide us.

A distinctly average accommodation”
We were traveling in a big group of 25 pax on a single day road trip to Malacca. By the time we have confirmed the head count, all decently located accom were already full. Fortunately, we chanced on this Accordian Hotel that still fits our budget, desired location(near Jonker St) and has enough room to accommodate our group for 1 night. The first impression at the hotel was the carpark, which is an open air carpark opposite, with a signage that says "Park at your own risk". Which was kind of a turn off. Room wise was decent and within expectation (which wasn't very high, intention was only to spent a night). Room was oldish and smelt moldy but still livable.

Great location, large room”
deluxe triple is a room for 3 person. my room comes with 3 single beds, which can be combined to form a queen size bed and a single bed. the reception service is quite slow but the overall experience is great. this hotel has no elevator so be prepared to have a little walk up the stairs. the private parking is quite difficult to locate for first time travelers. it's an open parking located opposite the hotel (not within the hotel itself), so keep an eye on it. the location of this hotel is strategic as the tourist attractions are within walking distance. the famous famosa chicken rice ball is just opposite the hotel.

Great location”
The staff could not have been more helpful at this hotel assisting with all our requests. The location is fantastic to walk everywhere in Malacca except the out of the way Portugese village. Yes. It is run down, but the price compensates for that. There is no breakfasr, but there is a nestle's coffee plus machine to use at any time, and wifi in the lobby.

Nice basic room and very nice staff”
The place is not in the buzzy center of the city (around Jonker St.) but roughly 10 minutes walk from the main square which is still convenient. The room was clean, so was the bathroom and the employees were always very nice. Cons: * our room (101) was next to the stairs - can become noisy * the room had one permanently locked door that connected it to another guest room. we could follow most conversations and the tv shows of our neighbours * no racks or shelves to put stuff in Overall we enjoyed our stay there a lot and would recommend the place to anyone who's on a limited budget but doesn't wanna stay in a backpackers place.

Its ok”
as soon as we reached the hotel, we were warmly greeted. the check in process was fast. the receptionist explained everything to us. this hotel is probably one of the good hotels that i have stayed in. Staff are friendly and very attentative to our needs. The room is not comfortable enough as it is not quite spacious and the facilities is aging. The toilet is small. The hotel near the city center and most of the intresting places.

Budget Hotel”
hotel is close to malacca's famous attractions points. approximate 10 mins walk to jonker street and other historic places. easy access to varieties of food. very close to malacca's little india (not much of an exciting point of interests). car park is very inconvenient as it is across the busy street opposite of the hotel. hotel condition is old, but the fortunate thing is the cleanliness of the room we stayed in was satisfactory. it's okay for a short stay of one night or two. however, i will try to avoid going back to this hotel in the future. the reason i had to choose this hotel in the first place was because most of the hotels in malacca were full-house that night, mainly due to school holidays. i have come across better hotels (in terms of hotel condition, security, facilities, and location) in malacca with cheaper rates. this hotel could be your life saviour if you did not pre-book your hotel and you got caught up in the situation where every other hotels are fully-booked. this hotel may always have vacant rooms because i saw a poster outside the hotel that writes "last min hotel rate - rm 50 only" or so. however, it was a fortunate thing that we pre-booked the last room offered on agoda . perhaps, agoda was our life saviour. agoda kindly sorted out some last options for us before the very unlikely hotel to get full gets full. the location is good and the hotel built up area is spacious. if this hotel were to close down for some renovations in the future, i believe it will definitely attract more customers with its newly improved images. for this case, i am neutral in my comments since this hotel somehow offered me a shelter at the very peak-season. i did not burst out voicing my dissatisfactions but rather recommended for improvements. ^^

awesome hotel but lousy location”
driving to this hotel was a dreadful since we are not from west malaysia. took us so long to find this hotel because of the location which was quite outskirts. however, the hotel is simply welcoming. my wife and i enjoyed staying in this hotel as it because of its boutique like design and was very peaceful due to the surroundings. the room and bathroom boast a contemporary and stylish design. mid valley is just across the road so we used the overhead bridge to go there. we dare not drive as were afraid that will be lost in brickfields again. beside the hotel is 7-eleven and bus stop and they have a rooftop cafe which was closed the day we went. will surely stay again

Your average buget hotel”
Stayed at this hotel for a night, booked for a family room, but got 2 seperate room with room connector. However, some rooms are directly facing the cross junction, so be prepared for some honking and engine blowing. The tv channel hav limited channels, and all malays. There is a bathtub attached, but no stopper. But it is quite yellowish anyway, so dosen really matter. The pressure of the showerhead is too weak.. Overall, the room is quite ok, cant complain much for a budget hotel. The lobby is good though, there are ample chairs and good lightings, with a coffee machines offering some varieties of coffee, at 1rm per cup. location wise, it is directly opposite Farmosa chicken rice, which i heard too many reviews on it being overrated, so I skipped it. However, there is a shop selling Kampong style fried chick at 2.40RM per piece. Happened to chance upon it at 11pm on a public holiday. So if you want to grab some supper, its the place to go, just ask the receptionist for "kampong fried chicken". There is a 7-11 opposite bayview hotel too. and wifi is only available in the lobby.. The customer service is quite good too. When i was asking for the direction to Jonker street, the receptionist passed me a map, and accompany me out of the hotel and direct me on the road to follow. Overall, its a good-enough place for budget or last minute travellers.

Lovely Hotel with Lovely personel”
as i was driving from kl, it did not taken us a long time and effort to find this 2-star hotel. upon our arrival, we were welcomed by the hotel manager with a big smile, followed by welcoming drinks at our choice. checking-in the room, found it small but just cool for 2. noticebaly, there were facilities like internet access (upon request), super fast cooling air conditioning, and my gf and i both love the big shower. a bit imperfection to note here was that kids were running around (opposite was family room) hence was a bit noisy when we tried to catch a nap. not too far away from jonker street and heart of the city. private parking lots were just in front of our hotel.

Good location to places of interest”
The hotel is located within walking distance to the famous Jonker Walk and shopping centres like Mahkota Parade. Considering the price you pay for a 1-2 star hotel during peak seasons (public holiday) cum weekend, it's worth the money especially if you have a small family of 3-4 persons. Air cond is cold and good with hot shower, room are not stuffy although room facilities like fridge and drinking water are not there. You have to go down to the hotel lobby where there is a water dispenser to fill up your own drinking bottles. Room looks a little bit run down and old and so is the TV set and sofa's. The manager and hotel staff are very friendly and helpful to provide you with the information and explain on how to go around the area. They have even prepare a simple map on their own to show you the location of Jonker Walk and surrounding places.

A simple n clean budget hotel”
if u are looking for a budget hotel which is clean n simple, this would be a better choice. distance travel to places are shorter from this hotel. but there is no lift tfor the hotel here, so if u are carrying very heavy luggages, it will be quite tedious. wifi access is only on the 1st floor recept area, not in the hotel room. hot water have to be collected at the recept, if u want hassle free, just pay rm1 for the beverage machine at the recept.

Simple and Cozy Hotel with Family like cares......”
Simple room with minimum facilities to keep the family goes by. Hotel staffs are warm and friendly and always approahable. Good for families, or guests, who does not intend to stay indoor for a long day, but just to rest a bit and sleep through the nights, as there are plenty to do in Melaka.

Good expereince”
Nice little budget hotel for the money.Breakfast is very basic, but for the rates charged - get you charged up to begin the day. Walk around the area surrounding the hotel, many delightful hawker and local eateries. Dont go to the "Ku Chen Chicken Rice" Restaurant nearby, absolutely terrible. The ones near the river front are much better.
