My friend an I had a pleasure staying at Agosto in the twin room! The rooms are small but that's what you expect from the photos and budget accom! However in saying that we could lie our bags on the ground at the end of our beds with no drama. The location was absolutely perfect, literally right near the bus and train station, restaurants, street food and central market! We were a little anxious about there not being an aircon in the room however the fan blows in air from the aircon outside the room which works perfectly fine. Easily one of the cleanest hostels I've ever seen with a really peaceful atmosphere! The staff were also willing to help and answer any questions PLUS they offer laundry service for a super cheap price! Would totally recommend to anyone staying in KL!

I enjoyed perfect stay there!”
I reserved this guesthouse, but I stayed one day later by mistake. In spite of this trouble, the receptionist guy was very friendly and he could take one room for me though the guesthouse was almost full. The facilities there are perfectly provided because electric outlets are provided in the room, air-conditioning is working, and washing machines are available. In addition, free coffee or tea service is available. Though the room is small, my baggage can be housed in the storage place under the bed. This makes me happy because my belongings are not in the way of staying. I had good time while staying here. This room is cleaned and I don't need to worry about dirty things while staying. In addition, the fee is very reasonable price! The guesthouse is perfect!

Honestly, We are more than positively surprised about our stay at Agosto Guesthouse. Kind and helpful Staff. Clean rooms. Clean Bathroom. Excellent Location. Highlight: Chill Lounge on the 2nd floor. Makes it easy to connect with the other Guests and enjoy the time.

Excellent Spot”
Great spot to base your Kuala Lumpur explorations. 2 minutes walk from major bus station ( where the free downtown KL bus starts) and subway station. I would suggest the 4 person room for solo travellers as the larger rooms can get congested.

Good place for a week or so”
I like Agosto and I've come back a few times. Good value for the money. It delivers everything it promises. There are only a few drawbacks, but they are not showstoppers by any means. The mattress is thin so your hip will dig into the plywood a bit. The stairs are narrow so it is always a hassle to put your shoes on and still give others the right of way. But these are minor when you consider the price. I will come back again, I'm sure.

With all of the options open to me, you would think that I would try a few other places. And I have. But I really like the feeling at Agosto. I've been here at least five times before and I keep coming back. What does that tell you?

Good value, clean, great location”
Right next to the LRT (Pasar Seni, one stop from Sentral) and the bus lines (there's a free bus too), good cheap lunchtime Indian food right out of the door, chinatown tourist street is nearby if you find value in that, clean place, friendly staff, shower toilets are combined (so there is always water on the floor from the shower but that's ok, where flips if it bothers you), lockers in room, privacy curtains, personal fan in bunk which is great for when the AC is off, 2 additional outlets in the bunk (lack of personal lighting though, not a big deal) ... most importantly to me, bunks are immune to movement by other people. Good value for the money.

Tiny affordable rooms in good location”
Great central location in China Town. Friendly staff and relaxed guests, so it is easy to make friends. However, the rooms are claustrophobically small and noisy (as guests stay up all night), which makes it hard to sleep without earplugs. Very fair price for this guesthouse but just not enough space so you feel like in a cage or prison!

Okay accept the noise ”
I book a room for one with cheap prices through Agoda. In the room there is no air conditioning. But a fan is provided. For me, that was enough because it didn't feel hot. It is located near Central Market and Petaling Street. The room was clean but I was given a room right off the main road and it was very noisy with the noise of the vehicles. Also, you should bring your own towel because the hotel does not provide for free. Overall, it's a bit cheap and worth the price.

I would recommend this place to anyone who is on budget and looking for a nice cheap dorm. This is the ideal place. Their bunk beds don't make much noise as much as typical hostel or guesthouse so that you can sleep better without getting interrupted by other guests who came back from the party at last night. And one thing you need to know about this place is there is Berlin bar under the hostel so you can party hard and walk back to the hostel easy.... Cheers guy! Enjoy your stay in Kuala Lumpur :)

Clean guesthouse with welcoming staff and great atmosphere. Free tea and coffee. Good security. Rooms are compact, but nice. Only complaint is the walls thin so rooms near the social areas can be noisy.

Value for money!”
Value for money! I stayed for two nights here and location was really good. It was located at the chinatown and just 3 minutes walk from Pasar Seni LRT Station. Facilities were excellent, there's a free coffee/tea, you can watch tv or dvd at the living room. There's a fridge where you can keep your food/drinks. You can borrow utensils and eat at the dining, (just make sure you wash your own dishes). Toilets and rooms were clean. Staffs were nice and polite! Very good!

The hostel is just around the corner behind Chinatown. Less than 5 min will bring you to the bustling night scene. Awesome service!!!! Owner will recommend you places to explore. Clean facilities, awesome crowd, good for backpackers, solo travellers and even families. :D

Came back 3 times due to flights. Very helpful & friendly staff. Great wifi, hot showers. Good location next to mrt & chinatown also easy to walk to other locations.
