Booked the 2nd night separately because the staffs were so helpful making us felt welcomed. They will recommend a place to eat by locals and giving you information on how to go places around with an estimated cost. it's walking distance to the train station which make it great for us who left Ninh Binh for Hue by train. A great experience.

We stayed here 2 nights. The location of the hotel is good, right near the river. Our room was nice and big, fairly clean, no much to complain about apart from the AC not really working. Staff very helpful; organised laundry service for us, allowed us to hire bicycles for two days running and made multiple phone calls to companies regarding our transport out of Ninh Binh. The room has a working fridge & toiletries available, just lacked working AC, a kettle and a comfortable bed, it was bareable but slightly on the hard side. We had a good stay, it’s a large hotel with plenty of rooms, worth the stay here.

The room is very very big, but a bit dusty. Lighting a bit dim. Bed is rather hard. Hotel is very near TP Ninh Binh Bus Station, every half hour, there is local bus from Hanoi, no need to book with travel agent. Very grateful to Ms Nga, advising me to take the boat-ride at Trang An, and just walk around Tam Coc. All these visits using motorbike-taxi, with a ride to Bich Dong Pagoda, on the way can see the beautiful country side; all well below my estimated budget, better than renting a motorbike myself. This is better than do a day-tour from Hanoi. Thank Ms Nga for arranging bus from Ninh Binh to Halong bay, bypass Hanoi, cost only VND 150k, only take 3 hours.

Getting to Ninh Binh from Hanoi and be greeted by the boss girl who's very friendly and honest in helping us is very heartwarming. We were upgraded for a bigger room and it's spacious and clean. This made us booking another night with them. The staffs are helpful and genuine and willing to take extra miles to help. It's within walking distance to the train station.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. It wasn't a problem that there wasn't breakfast because there was a place to eat 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We asked the girl working there and she was super helpful in helping with finding restaurants and getting around to see things we wanted outside the city center. The spoke really good English. It was in a quiet area and close to the train station. Highly recommend this to people staying in Nihn Binh.

If you stay here you should buy your bus ticket through them. We made the mistake of buying online and it was a nightmare to find the bus stop. Luckily we had the staff at AIQ to call and write out signs in Vietnamese for us and they organized the taxi. They were incredible

Big room but basic and smelly ”
there isn't a lot to see in ninh binh but explore the near by countryside of caves and rivers by boat. the hotel was basic and ok for our base for one night but had an unpleasant smell and a cover on one bed only.

Arrived late the first night, AIQ was accommodating but not helpful or friendly. Took us to our room, looked different from photo (smaller). Pillow cases stained light yellow with fruit flies on them. 20-30 fruit flies in room & small hole in door that lots of mosquitoes flew into. Bed was very hard. Next day mentioned it to staff and they upgraded us to a bigger room no charge but did not seem to care of all the flies/ hole in room. Bed was still hard in New room but blanket was comfier and warmer. Strange smell in this room that over time sort of burned my nose? Lamp in only 1 room. Did not want to turn on AC or fan because they were so black & dirty it would have blown dust everywhere. Hair in floor in both rooms from previous guests. Sheets were clean at least. In New room the pillow cases were also clean and no fruit flies. I would not stay here again, not worth the money. Staff were only friendly if they had to be and not up to date on latest info. Be warned ...

* it´s NOT opposite to the train station as it is written in some review, but aprox. 700 m (but walking distance, not far away) + helpfull staff, they spoke very good english - we bought bus tickets to CatBa town via them (bus-ferry-bus) and also bus from CatBa to Hanoj - but this route to Hanoj was much more expensive to compare with what they sell in CatBa town (my advice: buy bus to Hanoj in CatBa town)

We only stayed one night and it was ok. We arrived pretty late because our bus was late but there was no problem. The man at the front desk was helpful, although he didn't really speak english. The next day we asked our questions at the lady who was there. She was kind and helpful. We wanted to rent a motorbike and the price was reasonable. We didn't rent it there though, because they didn't offer a guide. It was a good hotel for a night or two. It get's pretty loud in the morning, but it was not unbearable.

I arrived at 4 a.m. and they were so nice that they allowed me to use the room before check in time. I was not happy with the bus company to Cat ba they booked for me, they should propose a more reliable one.

Spent just 2 nights here to break up our trip to Hà Nội, and we're quite pleasantly surprised. The water pressure wasn't amazing but the hot water never failed. The beds were a little hated. It the quilt and the pillows were so comfortable! We rented a scooter for 120,000D which we requested and got delivered within 10minutes! 10 minute walk from the train station which was good too

We were lucky that we had booked an early check in as we were arriving at 5 am. They let us into our room so they get an extra star for value for money. It is cheap so if u just need a room and you will be out most of the time this is fine. You can rent motorbikes from here. Reception staff have very little English but if u can translate on your phone then conversation is easier.
