It is not ideal for families with children. The windows were very unsafe (without latches) and the AC was not working properly, especially in my room, where the temperature would not rise above 21C even when I set the thermostat.

The reception staff behaviour was very rude, even they were responding to other customers only. I asked for car parking but they saudi it is full. I have seen they have given to other customers in front of me. The room services were very poor and all the amenities were not there. I was very disappointed by the reception staff behaviour for checkin. Not recommended if travelling with family.

Staff was irresponsible. No cleanliness in the hotel room. Room allotted was not as per booking. Not enough beds. No hot water in the hotel room many times complaint at reception but no response. Will not choose this hotel and not recommend this hotel to others.

It was a good stay, the first time I visited the al-salam area and got this booking. Receptionist Ms. MUSRAH a well-versed lady very cooperative and helped us in getting accommodation. we were surprised to know she was knowing many languages and dealing with different people quickly. overall stay was good. the haram walk was a bit more than 700meters. but free parking was a good option. negative point was that early morning, there was some construction going on either in a hotel or near but that noise was very bad unconfertable .

we reached at hotel 1740 they didnt allot room upto 1900 hrs firstly we parked in basement then we left for dinner after dinner they didnt allow to park in parking area while three places were empty.

Pathetic stay in term of cleanliness issue.”
Hotel management needs to pay special attention to the hygiene of the standard of rooms. We changed our first reserved room due to poor cleanliness, bed sheets were messy, under the bed was full of dirt, wrappers, biscuit remains even pieces of diapers. Next room was though better than before, but the carpet was having blackish look due to long usage, bed sheets were as it was changed atleast a month before, washroom exhaust was faulty and one side of the wall was full of dirt and discoloured due to change of cupboard direction. Other side of the wall paint was demaged due to water seepage. Room telephone was not operational. Visited many time to the front desk for house keeping. After three days of constant request, I requested vaccum cleaner so we may clean our room ourself, on which they took pity on us and sent house keeping guy to vaccum the room. for singles it's a best hotel in term of location and for those who don't care about such issues. But for family with young kids it was a worst choice, you will always remain conscious that kids are not picking up anything from that dirty room for consumption.
