Nice Hotel, but .....”
My stay in Jaad Al Mahbas was excellent except the hotel transportation.I have witnessed several incedents of humiliating the visitors of Allah's house and dealing with the old men and women who are hardly can climb up the stairs of the bus. The causer of all these incedents was a man called Ibrahim and his wife. He used to shout on people and check on their hotel cards in a very disrespectful way. Once, I asked him: "who are you and in what capacity you are checking on people, shouting and insulting them". He replied "I am the hotel manager and I have the right to check on people as I hired the bus and payed alot of money for that". I told him " No way you are the hotel manager and you have no right to insult Allah Guests. If you are the manager you should help and respect those old people and facilitate their worship seeking Allah's rewards". He started shouting on me and then people interfer to stop the argument. I have followed up and asked about this guy to find out that he was lier. He is not the manager of the hotel but a coordinator of a group of visitors who are staying in the hotel. In another incedent, I witnessed his wife prevent people from getting into the bus and left all people outside the bus for a while asking to show her the hotel ID's of people. I felt very bad to see a blind man standing in front of the bus step waiting while she was shouting on all people. It is very sad to see people who are coming from all parts of the world to enjoy the spirit of Islam insulted by a person who is not in charge of anything in the hotel. Especially when you know that most of visitors are old people. So, I wish that the hotel management follow up this matter and enhance the transportation aspect as it affects the hotel reputation.

Nice & Clean hotel, Value for money, Good Location”
My stay with family at Al Jaad Mahbas was pleasent , comfortable. The reception staff especially Manager(Pak national) was cooperative and helpful. Location is good and value for money but shuttle bus service frequency should be improved. Breakfast should be continental or menu should be of choice for different nationalities. In Sha Allah, I would like to stay again in this hotel in my next visit.

My parents stayed at Al JAAD MAHBAS HOTEL in June 20114, they enjoyed their stay, good location, the location is across the tunnel but it only takes 22 minutes bus ride to get to the Haram as you get the bus right outside the hotel. The bus vouchers are paid by Hotel. Hotel is clean, good room, cheap rooms, good staff, room service good, overall a good place to stay in Mecca. As it was Ramadan so never tasted their food

This is my fourth stay in AlJaad hotel with family. All the time I found this very nice to stay with family and recommend for others. Good location with best pick & drop service. Any time you think to go to Haram the bus is always avaliable for you. I will continue to perfer my future stay with Al Jaad. Thanks.

I love this hotel”
This is my fourth stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a good location in Mahbas Aljin with a great value for money, clean, steps away from the public transportation which makes it easy for you to move from and to the Haram. There are some remarks to mention : 1) It is very difficult to find a parking. 2) The room facilities including cleaning, water, tea, and coffee, are only given if you have requested. I stayed for three nights and had my room cleaned once and was given the room facilities once. Overall, the hotel is excellent and I will come back Insha'a Allah to this hotel again in my upcoming visits to Makkah.

My stay was very comfort and did not face any defecates, or problems with my booking in addition local transportation was available in front the hotel door and the hotel pays for such cost during Ramadan, also the hotel was clean and house keeping being done after Efttar or any time you ask them ,I must say that the Hotel`s Manager was very cooperative and helping everybody asking him without any delays.

Value hotel for no frills Umrah trip”
We book 3-bed rooms during Ramadhan and the facilities and cleanliness is good. The food at the restaurant is tasty too. There is a bus station directly in front of the hotel and all the bus is a shuttle service to Masjidil Haram. The hotel will give you free tickets to take the shuttle bus and the journey is about 5 minutes only. The only setback is you have to jostle to go up the bus to and fro from Masjidil Haram, and it can be very draining, as there are just too many people going for the bus. If you want a cheap and no frill journey, then this hotel is good enough however if you are with family and want a comfortable trip walking distance trip to Masjidil Haram, then go for others.

Manager and staff are very co-operative. My suggestion is to improve the breakfast. Remaining all are fine. Location is far from Haram but Buses are available all the time from the front of hotel.

Staff are very friendly, very comfortable bed and pillows, renewed clean rooms, near to holy mosque (almasjid alharam) with an ease of transportation. I enjoyed my accommodation there. When I asked the receptionist to change my room he welcomed that without asking me about reasons.

No options for breakfast ”
The hotel was 5 to 10 min away frm haram if u go by shuttle provided by hotel however at times u have to wait for approx 30 min for the shuttle to arrive if u miss the first one which makes u miss ur namaz at haram. Also its a big NO for Pakistani people as there is no option avaiable for breakfast items not even plain sandwich or fried eggs specially if ur travelling with family. Have to call room service twice or thrice atleast for daily committed water bottles and tea makers. The lower staff are jst ignorant and try not to serve u. Though the hotel manager was a good man and on last day (6th day) we got a sandwhich at their restaurant. Overall hotel was clean.

They gave me 2 rooms but they were noisy and just near reconstruction area and I asked them to change rooms and they promised but no change had been done..even the manager of hotel did not solve the problem..I think you have to be harsh to get what you want!!! There is much unfair discrimination between Saudi and foreigners ...
