Best stay in Phuket for a romantic getaway”
Absolutely lovely experience! We picked Amatara to celebrate our anniversary and it couldn't have been better. We wanted to check in early at 1pm, and the staff did their best to accommodate. Since we couldn't check in until 2:30pm, they granted us a late checkout until 3pm which was a nice offer on their part. We booked the Bayview Pool Villa and they upgraded us to the Oceanview Pool Villa free of charge. I surprised my partner with a special package the hotel offered, which included a rose bouquet, rose petals with a romantic note on the bed, and a rose petal + candle lit bath. They executed everything perfectly! It's an anniversary that will be hard to top. The staff were exceptional and very attentive. We did the floating breakfast package and their private beachfront dinner promotion, both were wonderful experiences. I've never experienced a private dining experience on a beach, but for my first time it amazing having a dinner and server cater to your needs (we were truly spoiled that evening). If you're looking for a restful and/or romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of Phuket, I highly recommend Amatara!

Beautiful luxury hotel”
We had a great stay at Amatara in our pool pavillon. Beautiful room, spacious, with a perfect view and an amazing pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also very much enjoyed the well equipped and modern fitness center. In addition we went for a kajak tour - they are complimentary for all guests. The only downside is the dinner: we love authentic Thai food, which we didn’t feel we were offered there. Food was ok, for the price paid the quality was definitely below average. We recommend having dinner outside of the hotel.

Great resort and friendly staff”
We stayed here for 2 nights in the Bay View Suite. Check in was slow, I think because we only booked the room a few hours before check in time, but we were able to use the pool while we waited. They also provided us with food and drinks while they were getting the room ready. Room: The room itself was great, with beautiful views of the bay. Staff: All the staff were super friendly and helpful Food: Breakfast buffet had a good range. Dinner at Siri was great too. Only complaint about food was that room service took about an hour, and the fries with the club sandwich came cold Overall, would definitely stay here again

Having stayed at many resorts all over Thailand, I can honestly say that the service at Amatara Wellness resort is second to none. The staff were the friendliest and most attentive I have ever experienced. Everything from the valet parking to the poolside service are just head and shoulders above the competition. Arno at the pool and Kelly at the reception were truly remarkable in their commitment to guest satisfaction. The villa was luxurious and comfortable with an amazing view. The breakfast was extraordinary with a variety of health conscious options. The pool was large with a great view of the bay and there’s even a private beach area with paddleboarding and other complementary activities. We enjoyed a daily complimentary yoga/stretching session at 2pm. Overall I can say that this is an exceptional and spectacular resort and I would give it the highest recommendation possible. The staff are the best I have encountered in my many trips to the various islands. I hope to return in the near future.

If you want a hotel away from it all this is it. The hotel is far from the line light and hustle of the other cities we visited. Which is just what we needed. However, on this side food choice are limited. No matter what the hotel is clean and perfect for a getaway.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Shout out to Arno at the moon bar for a great friendly service. The infinity pool is just stunning. Food is amazing. the pavilion villa was the stuff of dreams. We have stayed in few 5 star resorts before and Amatara is not over the top flash, its still luxurious but authentic at the same time. they leverage on the amazing views and create an amazing ambience with their night low yellow hidden lights. Thanks to everyone at Amatara who made our holiday perfect especially after 2 years of lockdown in Australia.

I’ve stayed at this resort 4 times now between 2016-2022. It is as lovely as I remember, and the facilities and view are perfect for a resort stay. The food is as good as I remember it, though it’s clear they’ve taken a hit with COVID and there is not as much variety on offer as previously. Nevertheless, wonderful place. Highly recommend!

It was the second time we stayed at this hotel and we were nervous that after the pandemic it would not be the same. We had a lovely stay at the resort. We especially loved the views and the room cleanliness. The staff was very helpful, kind and sweet (Joy, Ae, Toy, oil, Kathy, Ann). The breakfast buffet was nice (don’t miss the almond croissant 🤩). The spa was wonderful and they have a wide verity of services, however it would be nice to add mani padi, The beach area needs some improvement.

Best holiday ever”
Stayed at the ocean pool villa for our honeymoon. Loved all the complementary items and services that we got (bottle of champagne, laundry services, cocktail at the bar everyday at 6pm, one time free high tea at the library, yoga activities). On top of that, it’s a bonus point that this hotel is very near to halal food restaurants and the small night market also have muslim vendors. We didnt have to have lunch at the hotel as there were a lot of choices outside, they even have 7e nearby, a big one with lots of food to choose from. Its a secluded area with not many people unlike patong. Its a great place if you just want to rest and relax. Totally recommend this place!!

I ususally never give 5 stars, but this resort was beyond amazing. From the resort room, location, private swimming pool, staff, customer service, beach dinner, and spa, it was incredible. Pricing was slightly over priced, but for the service and facilities, it was worth every penny. We enjoyed our time here very much. We definitely recommend Amatara.

The resort feels intimate and relaxed. The staff is smart and cheerful. The rooms are big, clean, and very comfortable. The Grill restaurant was very good and enjoying cocktails on the roof deck while looking at the sea was fantastic! The beach is also lovely. Small and secluded with beach chairs and kayaks.

Magical from start to finish”
I stayed with my boyfriend for 4 nights. It was so relaxing and the staff were great. We stayed in a bay view suite and it was very spacious, lots of lovely little touches... Bath salts and gorgeous smelling toiletries in the bathroom. Huge comfy beds and a good coffee machine. The hotel restaurant was extremely delicious. The best food we ate in Phuket (we tried street food, local restaurants and expensive places).
