Can't sleep well with super hard mattress”
Can't sleep well because bed is too hard. Would give a 5 stars if mattresses are changed! Or at least put a mattress topper.

Good room, great staff, less appealing area”
The staff is nice, the rooms are tidy and clean and there is breakfast. Unfortunately, the homestay is located besides a stinky river and exactly besides the Mosque: Make sure to bring earplugs, it's extremely noisy. Make sure to tell the taxi driver "dekat rumah sakit harapan kita" and then it's behind the Mosque Baiturohman. Otherwise, it's difficult to find.

Nice stay”
We booked Amelia Homestay for 2 days. The house and rooms are super clean and very tastefully decorated. The neighborhood is worn out with stinky water under our windows, not mentioning the mosque a few yards away. It was not easy to find the location, the taxi driver asked 3 times, but when you are already there, it is 200m to the nearest bus station for fast bus service, so it was very easy to get there later on. The owner was very nice, he did not speak much English but was smiling all the time. It was good value for money.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff”
I really enjoyed staying in Amelia. The people who work there are so friendly and they helped me to sort out so much stuff, it would have taken me hours. If you are the first time in Jakarta, this definitely is a good place to stay and learn to get around. I also like the area with hundreds of local shops and small restaurants, not too far away from the city center and ambassies.

Fantastic Homestay”
Our stay was great! The staff was amazing and helped us out with things like transportation. The room was a lot nicer than some if the other places we've stayed in throughout SE Asia. You can't find a better place for the price.

Hotel difficile à trouver... le taxi était patient ! Très bon accueil, chambre propre et petit déjeuner offert. Nous avons bien aimé le quartier, qui n'est pas touristique et qui nous a de suite plongé en Indonésie, nous avons rencontré des gens gentils qui n'ont pas hésité pas à nous aider quand nous étions égarés ! Certes la mosquée est tout près mais difficile de ne pas entendre la prière où que ce soit à Jakarta ! La propriétaire est gentille et très aidante. Nous recommandons !

L'hôtel est très clean et l'accueil vraiment gentil mais : Il n'y a pas de lit pour deux (seulement un lit pour 1 + 1 matelas au sol) Il y a une mosquée en face, la prière de 4h30 est donc un peu violente ! Le quartier est très sale

Wir hätten unseren Aufenthalt nicht besser verbringen können, als im Amelia Homestay. Das Personal ist wirklich mehr als hilfsbereit und freundlich. Alles ist perfekt geputzt und ausgerichtet auf alle Bedürfnisse, die man in so einer Grossstadt haben kann!

Amelia Homestay - Lichtblick im Wahnsinn Jakarta”
Ein Zwischenstop zwang uns in Jakarta zu übernachten. Das Amelia Homestay ist in einer Region mit Handwerkern und vielen Warungs. Eine authentische Gegend - in die das Home Stay gar nicht recht reinpasst. Denn hier ist alles picobello sauber. Man darf nicht mit Schuhen rein, sondern muss die schon am Eingang ausziehen. Die Dusche, Toilette - schon europäische Verhältnisse, wenn auch klein wie das Zimmer. Ein Restaurant gibt es weit und breit nicht - etwas bei den Warungs zu essen ist magentechnisch Russisch Roulette. Haben uns dann ins Zentrum fahren lassen und natürlich die Hoteladresse dabei gehabt. Als wir dann zurück wollten - die Ernüchterung - 3 Taxifahrer kannten weder Straße noch Hotel. Der 4. hat sich dann erbarmt und das Homestay nach 2 Stunden Staufahren für 2 Kilometer gefunden. Also unbedingt Eckpunkte merken wie das Krankenhaus in der Nähe.

Layanan Yang Bagus”
Pertama kali melihat Amelia Homestay, langsung terkesan bersih, private dan tenang. Kamarnya bersih walau tidak terlalu luas. Terdapat dapur kecil, dispenser untuk membuat kopi dan teh dan disediakan pula peralatan makan. Di kamar terdapat DVD player dan disediakan pula koleksi DVD yang cukup banyak. Pelayanannya bagus dan ramah. Sayangnya, lokasinya agak masuk ke dalam walau tidak terlalu jauh dan masih bisa terjangkau dengan kendaraan ataupun berjalan kaki. Tidak disediakan breakfast dan tidak disediakan pula tempat parkir mobil jadi harus parkir di RS yang terdapat di dekat hotel.
