Cosy little resort, very attentive staff”
One of the best things about Lapochine is their fabulous staff who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Their private beach and saltwater pool are pristine and well attended to. When we arrived on Sunday there was a big group doing team building activities. We told them about the noise and got upgraded to a beach villa, which was large, well designed with an outdoor shower and the beach right in front of us. However during the week the resort is very quiet. Breakfast was a small but nice selection of local and international food. Lagoon restaurant did very well with both Hue and Western cuisines at reasonable prices. Right next to the resort are many local seafood restaurants where the locals eat. The food here can't be fresher and is really cheap. This is one of the few places we will definitely come back to.

Lovely—Don’t Miss!”
We stayed for five nights at the Ana Mandara and would have liked to stay for a month. The beach villas are incredible—you have a huge patio and grassy front to the beach, only 30 feet away. The room is beautiful and huge, with an outdoor shower surrounded by greenery and stone walls. The staff, including Mr. Raymond, Nadine, Ha, Quoc and the rest are so welcoming and friendly. The pool is gorgeous and while swimming, you hear the waves crashing. Thoughtful touches like two outdoor showers, a poolside bar Happy Hour, and lifeguards complete the picture of a hotel that is dedicTed to treating guests well. The breakfast is very well presented and has Western foods as well as Asian. The omelette they make is as good as any I’ve had in Paris, and they are happy to bring you as many cappuccinos as you like. We stayed for dinner each night and ate on the terrace. You can see the lights from all the fishing boats and see the moon rise—magical.

In town or the beach? I chose wisely!”
I live in HCMC and had a few days off for the recent national holiday. I wanted to go to Hue to see the famous sites and because of the lack of foreign tourists, this timeframe seemed ideal. In terms of where to stay, it was a choice between a river resort, a place in town or a beach resort. I finally decided on a beach resort because of the fact that if there was nothing else to do, spending all day by the ocean is always more compelling than walking around a town to see if there's anything interesting. In choosing Ana Mandara, I chose wisely. To begin with, with all due respect to Hue, beyond the recognized sites to visit, there isn't much to do and quite honestly, the town isn't remarkable as a tourist destination. I was in Hoi An over Tet and the Old Town is beautiful and just walking around, taking in the optics is interesting. The kindest staff”
Of all the places we have travelled in the world, the Vietnamese service staff are the kindest, most helpful staff we have ever seen. Although it was offseason the staff worked hard to keep everything clean, tidy and greet us with smiles. While travelling through the small village by bike we felt like rock stars with countless local child calling out hellos and waving, and always with a bright smile.

When a lot of the tourist attractions closed due to Corona virus, we decided to continue our holiday till our original date to return home. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful resort to end our trip and relax. Excellent facilities and beautiful staff. Their breakfast was amazing.

FYI - Beaches in central Vietnam, with a few exceptions (some islands) are windy, deep, high tide and wavy. You can chill and enjoy but be careful while swimming, specially with kids.
