A family run business, Fred and his wife Karen have done a lovely job to make you feel at home. On this beach front property just outside of this small town called Anda they have built a tucked away oasis. The rooms are elegant and spacious as well as the layout of the property. Their daughter Adrian, the sous chef and her husband Josh have created foodie delights using local produce with a twist from their global culinary experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, good service for the location. A masseuse staff readily available with a handful of stress relief options. Rooms are clean and modern, 16 in total. Those looking for a secluded holiday away, this resort is perfect to relax in the sun, enjoy great food, paddle board, snorkel, and dive. If diving is your sort of thing, it is fabulous here! A man named Digee from the neighboring resort offers morning afternoon and night time dives. On certain days, Digee takes snorkelers and divers to the island of Leyte for a chance to snorkel with whale sharks. This experience alone was worth the trip! I would highly recommend all of the dive options. Frankly speaking, my friends and I would love to keep this gem to ourselves but the family is so lovely we couldn’t bear it! The Vitamin Sea (changing its name soon to Island View Beachfront Resort)I prefer the name Vitamin sea, is located in Anda, on the eastern end of Bohol. This is the quiet side of the island favoured by divers, nature enthusiasts, couples, and people just wanting to recharge. If you want jet skis, karaoke, and blaring TVs, stick to Panglao near the capital Tagbilaran. Anda can be approached along a delightful coastal road with fine views of the sea and glimpses of old Spanish architecture. The alternative central route passes the (real) tarsier sanctuary, and the chocolate hills. The interior is, in part, reminiscent of Balinese landscapes without the temples. The Resort itself is right beside the beach and the guest rooms face the sea. It has plenty of green lawn and tropical vegetation to provide respite from the sun and protection from the sea winds. Improvements and room upgrading are underway but the original standard rooms are quite comfortable and can be taken either as air-con or fan rooms. The sea at the front is great for snorkelling and there is also a new, very big pool at the resort. The open-air beach bar is beautifully located (and actually serves OK wines) but is still in need of some modifications, including more comfortable bar stools and seating. The Resort staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to comply with any special requests. The atmosphere is informal and extremely relaxed. There are local activities such as snorkelling, diving, caving, walking along the beach to Anda town, or just watching the bird-life and the fishing boats, but tailor-made expeditions to anywhere on the island can be arranged. Anda is a bit of an undiscovered secret and the Vitamin Sea will help you relax and enjoy it all at good value prices. I will definitely visit again and hopefully stay longer next time.

We found ourselves at Anda Cove by pure chance but from the time we made our booking to our departure, our expectations were always met and exceeded. A day after we made our reservation, we received an informative welcome email from the resort manager Joyce. She was very quick to respond and ably assisted with our other enquiries. Checking-in was a breeze and the beauty of the place simply amazed us. The proprietors have done a perfect job in creating an airy layout with a good mix-use of local and advanced building materials. Both the reception and café areas were tastefully decorated with antiques of Asian and Filipino touches. Our room was at the ground floor with a superb view of the ocean and the nice seating area outside was just what we needed to laze the days away. The over-all aesthetic of the property was extended to the comfortable bed and high-end bathroom fixtures. We only had two days left in Bohol and Joyce was very kind to offer a guided hike to Anda’s highest peak called “Blue Heaven.” It was indeed a wonderful gesture and we hope to return the favor when she visits Manila. We were also accompanied by the owners’ daughter Azzy and the hike was the highlight of our stay, capped by a refreshing swim at Anda Falls. Anda Cove’s white sandy beach and crystal waters are a dream. It was interesting to observe the local fishermen go about their activities especially in the mornings. The resort actively supports the local community with projects through their organization Leaders for Change. Servings during breakfast were huge with good local and international selections plus fresh juice and fruits. Dinner was similarly satisfying especially on our last night. Staff members Francis and Melda were also very attentive during mealtimes. We knew that we made the right choice when choosing Anda for a relaxing holiday away from the noise of more touristy Panglao. No regrets! The very first info I checked prior to booking our stay was the wifi, since my husband and I were on working holiday mode. It was fast and stable! We aren't divers, but we're always up for good reviews, thus, we booked them! Their food was awesome - big serving and delicious! It was a sweet surprise after knowing that we can also visit their sister company, Anda White Beach Resort, all for FREE (except for the transpo going there)!!! Free use of their swimming pool and you can relax at the beach with its breathtaking view. Not to mention their swimming pools (both in Blue Star and Anda White) are well-maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. Their employees are courteous; always smiling - always ready to assist. We had an awesome stay! I highly recommend this resort and we'll definitely come back! :)

we stayed here in anda for 3 nights, and had a really lovely time. the staff were very welcoming and ensured our stay was enjoyable. harold particularly made every effort to make us feel at home, especially on arrival after our 2.5hour drive from panglao (completely worth it!). one of the things we most enjoyed about casa amihan was the peace and quiet - with only a couple of other guests around at a time, it felt like this small paradisical resort was all for us - and the view from the terrace was one of a kind. the snorkelling around the small local beaches was great, as were our trips into anda where we saw the churches and long white stretches of sandy beaches. we highly recommend coming here! harold and team, thank you very much for making our trip to anda so special and for creating such a dream place for your guests. we look forward to seeing you next time we're in bohol.

Paradise Feeling We were traveling through the Philippines for 4 weeks and we also visited Bohol. We decided to go to Anda as it is known as a remote and relaxing part of Bohol. What we found was a paradise. Kilometers of white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and friendly people....that's Anda. J&R Residence is a Boutique Resort with only 5 rooms and the whole set-up is beautiful. The Restaurant Pavilion is overlooking the white beach and the Reef and the food is simply amazing. Ask for a cocktail and have it in the Pool, while watching the sunset... Special thanks to, the owners, for helping us to organize our tours and trips as well as for the outstanding hospitality... It was the best accommodation during our whole trip and we can definitely recommend this Resort to our friends and to people who are looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay in Anda.

A couple of friends had recommended we go to Anda, but they had stayed in another hotel. We chose Anda White Beach because of the infinity pool and found a place beyond our expectations. As a couple, we loved the fact that it was isolated, nothing around but just a few other guests (thanks to the limited number of rooms - and it wasn't full). Incredible pool overlooking a beautiful white beach (except for sea weeds but what can you do). Sea view room was large and comfy. Really liked the food, especially the shrimp! Breakfast till noon is a plus even though we were eating pretty early, didn't want to stay too long in the room to enjoy the hotel and surroundings. I recommend going just a kilometer out to this strip of tiny restaurants, eating out, great people. Saturday night at a hotel nearby with live music and full of locals was great! We left for Alona beach after 3 nights and kinda regretted not having stayed longer in Anda. Staff is genuinely friendly!

We really enjoyed our stay at Zenith. Originally we planned to stay for 2 days, After comparing other local places, we decided to stay at Zenith and extended for 12 more days. Special thanks to Mady, Joven, Abby, Rica, Ma'am Jeanette,, Please excuse if I mis spelled. ALL the staff and management were exceptionally helpful and personable, we hated to leave talaga !! Zenith is not on the beach, but it is only a 200 meter walk, air con was cold, and the best hot water shower I've had in the Philippines, WI fi works in room, but better upstairs in the Resturant. We had so much fun playing Jenga with the Staff,,,, LOL Thank you Zenith crew for helping make our stay in Anda so much fun !!

we absolutely recommend this hotel. It‘s at a wonderful place in wonderful anda. the beach is beautiful! the hotel is clean and the staff very friendly.

If you are looking for a 5 star accommodation this is not the right place for you, but for us it was perfect. We traveled with two young children, and used the pool everyday. The staff were super friendly. We enjoyed our stay and the location in Anda.

Magic Oceans is a great resort. However, it is primarily tailored to hardcore divers and wealthy tourists. The excellent quality of the rooms, modern style, and affordability of the price per night for a bungalow defines a Magic Oceans stay. The staff is extremely knowable and friendly. The pool and grounds are clean and well maintained. BUT the cost of the amenities and facilities are much more expensive than other hotels in Bohol. For example, the motor bike rental price per day offered at Magic Oceans is almost double than other places nearby Anda. Pickup in Tagbilbaran and shuttle to the resort is $60. Lunch and Dinner at the restaurant is typically $20 to $30. So it might be advisable to find alternative services nearby the Resort during your stay to keep the overall cost of your stay more affordable. In saying that, I highly recommend this resort if you're traveling to Bohol. Magic Oceans and the surrounding area contrasts with Alona Beach in Bohol. You will have a more relaxing and intimate experience away from the crowds in Alona Beach. Although Magic Oceans doesn't have sandy beach access there are several options nearby in Anda which are quite beautiful.

The place is at most a 5-minute normal walk to the beach. It's beside the Food park and under it (since we're in the second floor) is a convenience store that opens at 530AM. The staff are kind and good. The only issue we had was that it's a pain to keep on locking the door with a padlock (their lock should be upgraded into something simpler so that the guest won't find it difficult to open/close the access gate). Overall it's a nice place to stay at Anda.

Its my third time to stay in Anda this year. Its ok in my previous stay. But lately last Nov. im not satistied with the facility. Water supply in the rest room is not good. Specially the water in shower and bidette. They should fix or change their shower .

nice place on Anda white beach. In Saturdays a nice band will entertain the evening. Good wife in the restaurant but not in the rooms. i will surely go back

Awesome stay at Anda or all Bohol!! A booked one day a stay for next 5 days, perfect personal help in everything.

Nice place, very clean and confortable. Very nice staff. But this place is in the middle of nowhere and the area is not developped yet. The beach (even Adan beach at 20 min) is not adapted for families and the resort would really need to be refreshed. The food was quiet good but after few days a bit repetitive... And there is no restaurant around... I think it could be a good place for divers, but for family, Bohol island is not the best place in Philippines
