"The hotel is very close to Harbour Mall which is the most famous shopping mall in Gold Coast. You can find a lot of outlets there with cheaper price than Sydney. The hotel is new and with free parking. If you plan to rental a car, it will be wonderful staying here. "

"I am 75 years old and have just returned from a wonderful few days at the Beachcomber Surfers Paradise with my 8 year old great-grandson. We were amazed at how spacious the apartment was. We just loved it. We had a twin bedroom, a large bathroom (a bath as well as shower and toilet), washing machine and dryer, big kitchen with full-size refrigerator, stove and microwave, loads of cupboard space and kitchen utensils. The combined lounge/ dining room gave magnificent views (we were on the 21st floor), as did our large balcony which had another table and chairs. The Beachcomber is in an ideal position ... just minutes from everything in Surfers Paradise and a bus ride away from Seaworld (our Tuesday destination) and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (our Wednesday outing). I was fortunate enough to have booked early for this school-holiday period and to have obtained a 30% discount. The total for three nights was $228.90 ... just amazing. If you want to be pampered and have your beds made and towels changed every day, this may not be for you. However, we just wanted somewhere clean and comfortable and that is what we got. Thank you to the staff I dealt with, all of whom were pleasant, friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in returning to the Beachcomber should I be looking for Gold Coast accommodation in the future, and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone who will listen. "All new and modern hotel. Catering and drinks facilities not yet on the venue, not that I came across in my visit anyway. I must say though, very close to CBUS Stadium and I was there to watch the A League game on. Great for that short walk 200 to 300m from the stadium. Had to drive 2.5km to the town centre for food and drinks however."

"Booked room over a month earlier to explore the part of Gold Coast not seen for decades. We belatedly read reviews that were unsettling...mostly negative. What a wonderful surprise we had...parking was easy, room clean, fridge & airconditioner working, close to shops, bus, trams, Pacific Fair, Star Casino, etc...will come back, also, will recommend to family & friends. "Spent a lovely time in Gold Coast area and chose Mantra as it's just close to the beach and only 5min drive from airport! This place is huge and easy to get lost, but after some exploring, found our way. At the time of our stay, it was rather busy - as expected for school holiday and weekend. There's some nice walks along the beach, great for running, swimming, surfing and even cycling tracks for early AM activities. Gold Coast CBD was a bit far, but with car it's not a problem. If you don't have car, there's plenty to explore in nearby area too."

"we were only there for 3 nights but we had a great stay. We were on the 47th floor with an ocean view which was fantastic. The suit we had was small but fine for just the two of us. It was so close to all the facilities and yet quieter than being in the center of the Gold Coast. The only fault I had was that it appeared that our corridor was not vaccum cleaned in all the time we were there or our room as there was a rather long piece of cotton material outside our room when we arrived and still there when we left. Just a minor thing but noticable. The indoor pool was great and we'd happily stay there again."
