Apartments in Kuching

"First time being in Kuching, together with a group of friends. My overall experience with this accommodation is wonderful. 1. The location of the Serviced Apartment is slightly away from town, but you can easily get to Town within 15minutes and it is convenient with Grab/Cab services. 2. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even recommended us on where to visit and best spots for good food. 3. Apartment is very clean and very comfortable. It is equipped with suffice amenities, and you can even cooked and do your laundry at the apartment. Just one point to remind, you're required to bring your own toothbrush & toothpaste for the stay. Of course, there is a mall "Boulevard" attached to the hotel at Level 2, where you can conveniently get almost everything you need. 4. Facilities - since the service apartment is linked to the Imperial Hotel, they both do share the same facilities for Swimming Pool, Gym and the Sauna. The staff did provide us the access card to those facilities. "

"As the record show I have been staying in this location for more then one months ,come to a point that I was over charge ,when payment pay with agoda ,I was decline with the use of water and WiFi ,my children is very young ,hygiene is very important ,with no water ,as the add in agoda show that WiFi water ,shower , no toilet ,and now is 6 days we paid without the uses of water and WiFi ,when the charges of in house payment rack up to 900 the owner of the company declined to negotiate ,we were force to pay unreasonable amount ,this is a hospitality service business as every one know client is always right ,the owner ,insulted me qoute " I don't want to meet with poor people " with the insulted and poor hygiene I have clear the unreasonable charges the CEO has not comply the promised to provide water and hygiene this is the worst hotel I have ever stay ,"

"We stayed in this hotel for three nights with our two daughters (13 years of age) in July 2013 while enjoying our vacation in Kuching. The hotel is situated on walking distance to the centre of Kuching, approximately 1 kilometre. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. This apartment has a surface of approximately 80 sq metres. The living room is has a flat screen television and kitchenette. One bedroom with a separate bathroom attached to it, the other bedroom also has a bathroom attached to it but was a little smaller, tough still spacious. The apartments are well equipped and have air conditioning. Everything was clean but a little outdated. The apartment is cleaned daily. There was a safety deposit box, but this was out of order. A free WIFI connection is available, but the quality is poor according to European standards. The hotel has a large pool of approximately 20 x 10 meters, with a depth of 1 meter. The pool is not suited for children who cannot swim. The staff is very kind and attentive and made our stay very enjoyable. In summary: If you would like to stay in a affordable hotel in Kuching, this place might be what you are looking for. It’s good value for money. However, If you are looking for a true comfortable, top-end luxurious stay I suggest to look for another place to spend your holiday since the apartments are a little bit outdated."

"Staying Roxy apartment with 3 bed room,relaxing and feel comfortable in the room you stay, Really value for money, Sunny Hill Ice Cream is just right next to the hotel and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Kuching."

"Quite troublesome during check in and check out as staff not at same location. Laminated floor too slippery. Looks like coated with wax. Bed sheet not so clean. Cleanness to be improved We stayed in Jazz 4 and its hard to find entrance. Need to go thru parking space to mall entrance a bit not convenience Should provide hair dryer. Staff is helpful & responsive. Thanks for guiding us to the apartment. Good location. Booked one room but gave us 2 rooms instead. Spacious "

"We've stayed Jinhold before (and for many times), and still this apartment hotel is one of the finest I've stayed. We booked a Studio but instead we got an upgrade to Apartment-type room, which is a bogus, the staff was really nice to upgrade us the room for free. The room is 'kinda' clean; 'kinda' because we spot a dead cockroach beside the refrigerator..not much of a hassle, but to spot it on the first day AND the second day, well, it lowered the star for the cleanliness.You'd need to pack your take-away food properly if you decide to eat/store it for later. The hotel is situated far from the busyness of Kuching; you'd need a car or a drive to get to the hotel.However there are food stalls/corner, restaurants and a Starbucks nor far from the hotel area you can walk by. Not sure if there's a Halal restaurant/food corner around since we've never seen it. Breakfast is pretty much bland in taste; you'd only got daily (bland) Nasi Lemak menu, some changing noodles/mee menu, porridge and bread/sandwich. Sometimes there's special menu, but in limited quantities. You will need food coupon every morning, and you'll need to get those from counter daily.Coupon also limited to two person per room, so you'd probably need to ask/buy at the counter for more. Need to improve on both of these. I've given Jinhold 5 stars as this is a hotel that value for your money. For RM88/per night (excluding taxes), this hotel is cheaper than most of the hotel in Kuching; but with extra perk. The room is spacious and nice. There are many facilities, you can even cook your own meal/dinner with provided rice cooker,frying pan etc (where else you can get those unless you book an apartment suite..?). I would definitely recommend Jinhold if you have transport to get around, but if you have no transport, you can still can get Grab/Uber to get around."

"The apartment itself is above Boulevard Hypermarket Kuching. this apartment is very suitable for a family and group travellers.This apartment offers complete facilities like gym, sauna, one free parking pass, and what i love the most the owner provides a washer and a dryer! during our long stay, we experienced blackout twice. the first one lasted about two hours 8.30pm-10.30pm, the second one lasted just a few minutes. this problem was not from the unit but from the management(imperial). the owner was kind to give us 4 boxes of free sushi. the owner was friendly, responsive and very helpful. will definitely stay here again on my future trip to kuching."

"The place is near the city centre. Big place with 4 rooms, good for groups. We drove from Sibu in two cars, just nice as it has 2 parking provided. Great concept with roller shutter doors for entering and exiting the parking lot. Just that only one key card are provided. So someone have to get down the car to help the second car to open the shutter door. The place is clean and tidy. Getting around will need the card key to open doors. Plan well when you have groups that don't go around at the same time. "
