"It is amazing how people of Venice live. In the area we stayed there are no cars. People move around with boats. The canal system works well for them. I would just imagine the increase cost to move items around by the water. Very nice place to visit."

"Exactly what we wanted, cheap, convenient and comfy. They gave detailed instructions on how to get there and although it does not look like a hotel it's still easy to find if you follow the instructions. The rooms are nothing fancy but are clean and comfy, what more do you want. The bathroom was spotless and we shared it with only one other couple. The WiFi works really well. Breakfast is not included and from what I saw I wouldn't personally recommend it, go into Venice for a coffee and pastry instead! Location is great, we walked all over this fantastic city, with a map they kindly provided. I would advise you keep the Windows shut as it lets mosquitoes in the room, they have air conditioning although we didn't need it. Enjoy your stay this place is great value for money and the staff are friendly "

"It was cheap so we weren't expecting too much. Decent location - 20 mins to venice Clean bathroom and kitchen A few complaints Not so clean room Towels and bed linings were never changed in 5 nights No AC and the heat was just too much. Not good for summer. Host was nice. "

"The best part for staying here is that you save your walk with luggage being just 5 mins from St Lucia Station, although it would be a bit far from other main attractions but that’s what Venice is all about , once the luggage is off you, you can walk across the city , get lost , get found and repeat! The facilities and cleanliness is amazing, book a studio or apartment with kitchen facilities , also ask for a room upstairs as the non - sound proof floors can make your stay a bit noisy, courtesy people living above you!"
