Lovely owner and serene stay”
Stayed here during Wesak long weekend. It is a 15 minute walk from Amphawa floating market. Owners are very friendly and lent us their bicycles to go around. Nice deck to chill by the river in the evening and mornings. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxed stay away from the hustle and bustle

Lovely homestay right on the river”
We loved our stay at APLE Homestay. Our family room was very clean and spacious. The owners were extremely helpful and gave us free rides to the songthaews when we left. They also cooked us a lovely breakfast which we weren’t expecting. The homestay is in a nice quiet area of Amphawa within 10 minutes walk of the floating markets so perfect with young kids. All in all we loved our stay at APLE and will return in the future.

Be caution if you decided to choose this homestay! ”
I have been visiting to Amphawa less then ten times for the past three years, I'd tried many others resorts in this area,. To chosen Aple Homestay was a mistake. However this is sincerely my personal view of it: 1) Aple homestay is very new, room is quite big (30m) and clean for a delux room. Because I booked and check-in on a Sunday it's last minute decision so I've to paid 30% higher then weekdays which I can understand.. They set the air-con remote control at minimum 25° upwards, which means to say the coolest is 25° nothing goes lower then that. In the way is good for eco friendly environment ( but I guessed is the owner only economy mind concerns)! 2) Mind you! Do not hope for an exceptable breakfast for a good day start. The breakfast appearance which brought to us was horribly un-appetizing, the two pieces of uncooked sausages plus a weird looking oily so call fried egg! I refuse to eat it not because I am fussy but trust me its the excessive oil in the plate... yaakky!!!

Friendly staff and nice breakfast”
The room was clean and the staff were all nice, but they can’t speak much English. The homestay is a walking distance from floating market, or you can take Tuk Tuk with 40 baht. I love the meat ball rice soup for breakfast, it was delicious! Recommend to stay!

Great place but no English”
Great room, super clean and comfortable. I had a beautiful balcony (higher floor) overlooking the canal. The breakfast terrace is enchanting. Located about 10 minutes from the floating market area. The young lady is really very sweet and trying her absolute best. She prepared me a fresh mango every morning and showed me a shortcut to the market. Unfortunately neither she nor her boss speak two words of English. I would have loved to ask them for tips, and use the boss's tuktuk, but there is only so much you can do with a translation app. Still, a very nice place. Tip for tuktuk drivers: they say "ay-ple", not "ah-ple".

The place is quite new so the rooms and bathrooms are clean and functional. It is a short walk to the market. The breakfast was just a rice soup or one fried egg. Unfortunately, the local staff at the wat decided to start with their loudspeaker broadcast at 0530 with a drum opening and then the non-stop chat by a monk. Not the fault of the homestay but annoying for those who want a rare sleep in in the morning.

Clean room, good shower, a.c. and wifi. Interesting and attractive location, though a bit far from market and restaurants. Breakfast was toast, mrgrine, cold fried egg and a bit of fruit. Nice lady , guy a bit grumpy. We were surprised at the 5 star reviews.

The family doesnt speak English at all and they are quite grumpy. Breakfast wasn't nice. The room was ok, everything worked, but smelled of cigarettes a bit. It's lovely to sit outside by the river in the evening with a drink. About 10 min walk to the market.

Very cozy comfortable place on the river to stay. Strongly recomended. The room was clean and quiet. Floating market in a ~5-10min walking; bus stop a bit closer (and still host helped me to get both locations). There was a bad review about imposibility of setting air conditioner below 25. So it's possible (now) but since place located on a water, you probably will not need air condidion in the night at all.
