Just great....”
Very kind, friendly and helpfull staff! The new bungalows were amazing. Modern furnishing, for an island great water pressure, new bed and matrass, high class AC (we used rarely), Tefal water cooker and a new safe. The bungalows are set back far enough from the beach so you are not desturbed by party tunes from other resorts further down the beach exept probably during Fullmoon parties. It is a bit tricky to reach the resort. It is accessible by a short walk over the beach or by a small trail from behind but some members of the staff are always there to give a helping hand with heavy luggage when you inform the reception. The resort leads to the cleanest section of beautiful Haad Rin and offers lots of shadowy places. In front of other resorts we found lots of dangerous shards of broken bottles and I would avoid going barefoot there. Next time on Koh Phangan we will definitely be Aquavana guests again.

Perfect”
For the price this place is great value for money... you get an immaculately clean, modern room right on the beach, at the best section of Haad Rinn for swimming. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we had in Thailand during our travels. From other reviews I was expecting the walk to the resort to be more difficult, but it was very easy, just turn left on the beach at Tommy Resort and walk for a few metres along the sand with your luggage. As the beach was so nice for swimming we didn’t need a pool here, and there is ample shade under the coconut trees right at the front of the resort. This was one of the cheaper stays we had while in Thailand but also one of the best!

Loverly bungalows with great location”
We really enjoyed our stay here. Was a bit more difficult to find but totally worth it! The manager of the place let us check-in hours before the official one and made sure he showed us the room and how everything works. The place was spacious, clean, the bathroom great as well, the A/C worked good and you also have place to work if you wish. The balcony was as well a good addition and the view as well. Is 1 minute away from the actual beach but you have direct access. Totally recommend it. We extended our stay 2 times because we enjoyed so much!

Quiet, peaceful and enjoyable”
We booked for one night and extended for three more nights. Even though there is no pool it's is very nice and quiet and the rooms are big. Good value for your money. Two things that are not so good: -blue coverage at the ceiling in the bathroom makes it difficult to see what is going on in your face during the day :D -lots of mosquitoes if you step outside the door but it's nature so we went to 7/11 and bought a good spray

Haad Rin Beach bungalow ”
When you walk up from the beach you think omg, as the reception area is a dump but then when you get to your bungalow, it is awesome, great room, big bed, big bathroom, nice patio, and set back from the beach just a bit so was very quiet. Was very clean and staff were friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay here on my next trip back.

Pro's location on the beach, comfortable rooms at great prices. Con's had to drag bags across beach 200yds to hotel. Couldn't book taxi from hotel. Resteraunt not brilliant ate out elsewhere every night

Beautiful bungalows, seems brand new, only downside is that there is no pool but as it is right on the beach you can either use that or the pools from the other resorts along the beach!

Nice place but difficult to drive throu”
Nice tree and garden, separate unit, clean and comfort the only problem is the rouge way to reach the place is quite difficult to drive or ride and doesn't appear on google map and no sign from entrance. it 's not bloblem if you find them from beach.

Potential, but needs some love”
Although the rooms were lovely, this place feels unloved. The sunloungers were all over the show, to the point that guests had to rearrange them and straighten them up to make them usable, the sand in front of the resort needed to be raked and given some attention, and there were not nearly enough umbrellas on their sand/‘beach’ area, which no one used as a result. The pool was incredibly cold but not in a refreshing way, and it was a shame that the swim up pool bar was not in use as we would have bought drinks if given the chance. The restaurant’s prices were exorbitant, more expensive than the 5 star places we stayed in Thailand, for example a Coke was 120baht! More than double the normal price... The nightly rate that we paid was good value but the restaurant charged much too much compared to the poor level of service and experience. All in all, stay here if you want a nice clean room with comfy pillows, but don’t expect a poolside experience.

We chose Aquavana as a place to stay during Pabuk typhoon. Looks like a new resort, but with some issues. First, there's no paved road to the resort. The unpaved road is only suitable for a 4x4. Same for a walking path - you either have to walk via the jungle or via the beach (the latter wasn't possible during the storm). Though the resort has staff to help carry the luggage to the parking lot. We stayed 3 nights there, and for some reason our room was only cleaned once. After a heavy rain the roof started leaking, so our room was a mess in the end. It could be the resort didn't have cleaners available because of the typhoon. Have to say, we were given a large discount for that day. Rooms are a bit gloomy to my taste. On the bright side the nearby Haad Rin beach is probably the best beach on the island, and it's just a 100 meters away. The town is also quite lively and full of shops and services.

Good location to the beach”
It was not easy to find reception and to get our room smoothly. but it was very quiet around rooms. If we go out to buy something to eat and drink, it takes us a couple of mints from room and it's kind of annoying. Location is very close to the beach. I might stay at another condo or hotel when I come to Koh Pangang next time.

We were only here for 1 night and the room was nice! Everything was clean and met our needs. The hotel was located a little off the beaten path and we had to walk on the beach to get the the road but we didn’t mind as the weather was great and it was a nice stroll. Thanks for a good stay!
