+1. Location. Right in the centre of the city. Barely a minute's walk from the concourse of Central station. Queen Street is well within ten minutes' walk. +2. Staff. Friendly and welcoming. +3. Room and public areas clean & fresh. -1. Several things in my room need the attention of a plumber / electrician. Pointed them out to reception staff on departure.

All I was looking for was somewhere cheap and handy for a night out in Glasgow. Bar looked bright, lively and modern. Room very basic with a few holes in the carpet, overlooking the rear of the hotel where the bins were. However, I was only in the room for 10 hours, 7 of those asleep so I couldn't have cared less. The bed was clean and very comfortable and the shower was great. Will certainly book again any time I am planning a night in Glasgow.

Great location next to central station and we was given a warm welcome and the check in staff and bar staff were brilliant.The room was clean and the beds were very comfy but the bathroom needed work as the tap on the sink was broken and a few of the tiles on the floor were loose meaning you had to walk carefully and the tv only had 3 channels but on the whole we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future

Good If You Just Need A. Place To Lay Your Head”
If you are on a tight budget and just need a hotel to base yourself from and sleep at then this is the place for you. The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept at in a hotel. The shower was also really good, too often in hotels there isn't enough water pressure but that was no issue here. The room needs a bit of TLC though. In the room I was in none of the channels on the TV worked, the blind was damaged, there was a hole in the door covered up with tape and some of the wallpaper was hanging off!

Travelled with a colleague, she was on the street side of the hotel and I on the other side. My room was quiet and nice but from her room (even though we were on top floor) you could hear the music from the bar on the first floor.

Pros , great location , staff good 24hr bar Cons , single room , attic sky light window , could be a bit 4 channels on the tv , Bit over priced for a room that is basic ,, £45-£50 might be realistic
