Very nice stopover”
This looks like it is still being added to. It is situated along the main highway that runs past Chiang Dao. The room was clean and looked brand new because a lot of the light switches still had the plastic wrapper on them. The breakfast was mostly Thai. So only bread to make toast if you don’t fancy eating boiled rice and vegetables for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hade a very pleasant stay.

Nothing to complain about. Nearly walking distance from DingDing Dong bar (my favorite bar in Chiang Dao). Clean room. Nice staff.

More than expected ”
I saw this resort and didn’t expect much due to the low cost. But what I got is surprise. Big and clean room. Good breakfast buffet but only 2 things I wasn’t happy. 1. No phone in the room so I have to google and call the operator. 2 BF isn’t hot enough as it should be. Cool morning will be better with hot food. What I got just mild warm.

Nice place to stay ”
The place is well located between Chiang dao city and the National park. You're in the rice fields in 2 minutes. The good surprise was that I have been upgraded as due to covid the hotel was not full at all. Bungalow was really nice, wide and bed was comfy. Bathroom was good too. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice too.

budget stay but we liked the old vibe/traditional vibe in these huts. breakfast is better than some more expensive options in town. definitely a strong recommendation but be careful of the safety hazards in toilet, slippery floor and it actually caused me to fall badly, i’m writing this review 3 days after the accident and i still feel some pain while walking. so very good stay, just improve on hygiene and safety.

I and my husband booked this place for one night. We got a new room which is good for sleeping. Some areas of the resort was old and messy due to Covid19 situation. However, their staff were kind and helpful.

The rooms are quite old and the beds are quite hard. The location is far away from everything. Didn't go to the breakfast as the lobby is far away. Surprisingly, the resort was full on those they I stay.

Cheapest option is an old room”
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It seems the cheaper room options advertised were for the old rooms at property that don’t receive care and maintenance. There are. Nicer and newer rooms but the room we got was not it. Spiderwebs in windows, dust and dirt on walls, bathroom was esp dirty. Just an old hotel room that had seen better days.

It's ok for a business stay”
We booked based on the photos listed but we were put in rooms that were on the main highway, so just be aware that you might not have this view. It was pricey for not including breakfast and you need a vehicle to get food anywhere else. Not too far of a drive from the Chiang Dao tourist spots. Nice hot tubs and saunas.

Not a resort, guesthouse at best. ”
Sadly upon arrival despite the photos that I based my booking upon. I found that this resort had no resort or even basic hotel facilities to offer. The cafe was closed and stripped out. The restaurant was closed. There was no opportunity to get a breakfast or any food. Both the 2 pools had been drained and closed. Had I known this (for the price I paid) I would never have booked here. I think Agoda needs to disclose what is actually on offer despite the glossy photos of a better time. The room was very clean, bed comfortable, Aircon and WiFi good. Very bad mosquito problem outside however. . My most disappointing hotel experience in 3 weeks in Thailand. Just being honest.

Internet not working at all. No signal (modem switched off) or 0,9 Mbips in download !! How is it possible in 2017 to have a resort without internet?? Only for that reason I will not go there anymore. There are many other places in Chiang Dao for the same price. As usual the rooms reserved for Agoda are the worse room of the resort!

Convenient, clean but a bit too expensive”
The resort has both modern and classic (wood) types of rooms. Need to spesific clearly which types you want. I stayed in the modern type which the room has seperated the bedroom and the living room. The best time to stay there is around October-November when you would clearly see Doi Chiang Dao right in front of you. The staffs are very friendly and willing to give you any information about tourist attractions. However, the price is a bit too expensive.

Simple but nice accomdoation - very kind & honest staff”
I left my watch at the hotel and did not realise until I had travelled home (Rayong). I contacted the resort and they were very kind and helpful and sent me back the watch - which I am very grateful for. The resort is set a little back from main road and is within easy travelling distance from main attractions/restaurants in the area. The breakfast was a simple buffet. Rooms were a large size and there were tea/coffee making facilities and simple kitchen in the room.

Not so impressive”
When we arrived, they could not find our booking but we got the room anyway. It was a bit overpriced considering the room looked old but big. We asked for extra bed when we made the booking with Agoda but they didn't prepare for us. Breakfast was small and not that great. On the second night the power went out in the area of our room for over an hour before the staff came to offer us to change to the cheaper room and it passed 10 pm that we had to packed and hauled our stuff to the other side of the resort. It didn't worth the amount of money we paid overall.

Our check-in was rather quite late at night, so it was all dark with dim lighting surrounding. The surprises come in throngs, stunning mountain view, fresh air greeted by clear moat with fishes. What else could ask more but just a cup of coffee, enjoying on the lazy chair of your balcony!
