The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, nice restaurant, spacious rooms, soft beds and good shower. Also the pool is very nice. So do not hesitate. I do not recognize the other critical reviews on tripadvisor. If a cold egg in a further excellent breakfast is the only problem. We booked through Agoda for one night and paid only 26 euro. Really a good deal. We walked with our bags to the trainstation. Very easy.

I only stayed one night en route to Sukhothai but this hotel was great. Couldn’t have asked for more especially given the price. Large comfortable bed. Clean bathroom.

Nice and big room”
The room ia quite big! Nice and clean. Its good location only 15 mins walk to Train Staion and Wat Yai. There was a party when i stayed, can hear the music from the first floor. Nothing special for Breakfast, sausages, fried egg, rice soup, not so much choices. Otherwise, if i have a chance to come back, i might stay here again.

Have no plastic bag to keep my used clothes. I stayed 3 days continuously so it should drop drinking water 3 bottles at once. No need to collect even I don’t take it all in one day. I can take anytime much or less than usual. Someday I want to drink more than one bottle. Unfortunately it was given only one per day. So I am thirsty that is so unpleasant.

I booked this place twenty minutes before arrival so the daily list of expected guests didn't have my name on it. The trainee receptionist had a problem and made some phone calls and got a supervisor down to check me in. Once again, like many hotels here, I was expected to now where the lift/elevator was to my room by the use of some sort of mind-meld. After I got my keycard, I had to ask where the lifts were (down there, through the door, turn left) nor was I told when included breakfast was served and found the restaurant on teh way to the lifts. Ah, the restaurant: I had just driven for six hours from Chiang Mai and stayed here because nearby was a well-reviewed bistro. I went to that bistro only to find the bar and a couple of the tables still covered with refuse from the night before and what I assume was a staff member walking about, shirtless, shadow boxing so I returned to eat in-house at Ayara Grand. Restaurant was shut. Room Service didn't answer the phone so I assume the kitchen was shut as well. So, back in the car to drive - besides the aforementioned bistro and one inexplicably overpriced Thai-food-only restaurant 50m away, there are no eating establishments nearby - to a main road and hunt for something to eat. Upon return after surviving night-time Phitsanulok drivers, there seemed to be some function on the first floor - possibly karaoke or some private occasion. I got the "hairy eyeball" from some guy that I assumed was security as I walked past. The Araya Grand Palace Hotel only rates itself as a three-star hotel so I'm not getting nasty but it could be - or, looking at the un- or previously used facilities like bellboy and concierge, "was"- so much more. With the current tourism climate - and Phitsanulok not exactly a hive of tourism in the first place - some things were unavailable. I get that. But the information on this booking site and, indeed, at the hotel itself, doesn't reflect what is *actually* on offer. It would be a great plac

Perfect location , good staff but the room I got smell odor the night I was there it was heavy rain storms and my room got water leak from the window floor getting wet they dry it and told me the rain almost gone and I should be ok not even offer to change the room also the pool was green and not ok to swim

If you want a good breakfast dont book this hotel.. Rice soup , stale bread for toast and hot dogs and ham in water . The manager said he can cook something else , bacon and omelette .Brought it over it was an omelette but it was as big as a matchbox(2"x2"), the bacon was just cheap thai ham cooked in water . The girl then came to our table and got tge sauce and took it to another table. The Orange juice was warm , and they turned the hallway lights off to our room , it was dark .So I think they did this to save more money

It's at back of train station about 15-20 minutes, not 340 metres stated website. Staff is ok, not as helpful as standard Thai service, they are not allow for late checkout, you have to full daily rate.
