After walking 2 km of the dusty main street from the point where our bus stopped (actually, the bus station is much closer), with our heavy bachpacks at the hot afternoon, we stepped into a heaven in form of Azalea resort. When you see the entrace and reception, you actually want to check if it is really a hotel that you booked for THAT price!? You see a very stylish and spacious lobby with a direct view to a beautiful garden (the most green point in Northern Thailand). after that a super friendly and helpful Administrator greetes you with delicious cold welcome drink and in 5 min after registation you are already on the way to meet your home for the next days. It is clean, nicely decorated, cosy room with everything one would need. After you change your swety cloth, you go to explore this wonderland with clean and spacious pool which also gives you a magnificent view to the third highest Mountain in Thailand. Complementary bananas, tea, strawberries and bikes make it Unforgettable!

I’ve stayed at many resorts in Chiang Dao and this one has the best pool and atmosphere. The staff members are attentive and make sure you have a great stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean too. There wasn’t a kettle in the room, but there was hot water available at the front desk.

Great place with wonderful design and environment, friendly service”
Strongly recommended to all. We came together with old parents, no problem for them at all. Place is more than expected, humble to nature . Staff are very helpful and friendly. Pool is available but it’s too cold during NY, so didnt bring swim suit. Staff put on mosquito protector in front of each room at night which really helps and feel of more protection. Place is easy to find. Some rooms confront each other, a bit of less privacy.

I went there during the low season and the staff were extremely helpful. Even though there were tonnes of mosquitoes, the receptionist offered us a spray and some coils to keep them away. She was also attentive to details and offered us cutlery when we bought our own food in. I felt so welcomed by her and she was accommodating. Wonderful experience. Will definitely come back again.

Staff were superb. Very homey and stunning scenery, the place is very peaceful. It's also pretty cheap for what you get. They have fantastic home gardened veggies and fruits too. Management should thank there staff and maybe give them a raise!

The staff is super nice, helpful and always here to help you when you need. Rooms are really great, bed is excellent and the place is really quiet. Swimming pool has a beautiful view, definitely a beautiful place to stay in Chiang Dao.

Lovely bungalows set in beautiful landscaped gardens and just a short trip from Chiang Mai, a real haven of peace and tranquility. Great pool with a fantastic mountain backdrop, could do with a few more sunbeds though.

Good things: very good price, very clean, warm staff, simple but good breakfast, very quite atomosphere, the garden also in very good status. I like the road, trees and grassland in here. Overall very good. My suggestions (for improving better): 1- Sweeping the floor before the customer check-in. Because Chiang Dao is very natural and easy to have insects, mouse shits or small things appear. Just very simple check and sweeping could help a lot. 2- the shampoo and body soup could put in the shower room, and add a soap or handsoap on washing station. 3- Changing a new set of bath towels. It's clean enough when I use, but the texture tell the story that the towels used for very long already. Wish you have a good business!

Lovely rooms, great value for money at under 1500 baht. Great pool and view. Staff are very friendly and were fab with our little one. The breakfast is basic and could do with the additional of non herbal tea. All in all lovely place.

Really nice salted warm pool with gorgeous view. Room is slighted dated but bed was comfortable. No kettle provided in room but hot water is available at dining area through out the day. Can’t avoid mosquito in nature area like this but the resort is kind enough to prepare repellent outside the room and around the dining area. Overall this seems to be one of the better accommodation in Chiang Dao area.
