When I booked a room at the hotel I was told early check in is subject to availability. However when I informed that I would reached 3 hours before the check in time after an 8 hr flight 4 hour wait in Bangkok and then another 1.5 hr flight, reservations said they would charge me for half a day extra (after making the booking). Since I couldn’t cancel the booking, I thought I made the biggest mistake in booking this hotel as this is no way to treat long distance travelers. When we reached the hotel the front desk was great and checked us in 15 minutes without any additional charge. The hotel exceeded our expectations on the room, the facilities and the service. The share the tower with a mall and lotte mart. The mart gives you the best exchange rates in Hanoi, even better than the old town money exchange agents or gold stores. So don’t waste your time trying to find a better place as the mart runs out of money by afternoon because of their exceptional exchange rates. Great location !

Since my office have moved out from Old-quarters to Hao-Binh district, so I was have to move to stay in this area. There are actually very few hotels in this area, besides Somerset Hoa-Binh, Daewoo hotel is the nearest by far. Rooms are realy well maintain even the hotel is more than 10 years old. spacious, and breakfast is derved well. The chinese restaurant is one of the best in town. I will recommand everyone to have try at this restaurant.

I have no complaint but just compliment during my 5 days stay at Fortuna hotel. Right from my arrival, the executive check-in was done with ease and the guest relation officer was very friendly and efficient. I had booked a deluxe king but wanted a jacuzzi which it did not comes with it. The guest officer immediately upgraded me to a room with jacuzzi without charge. When i changed my room to a room with jacuzzi, i realize that i left some stuffs behind but the next moment i realize the housekeeping member knocked on my door. They have actually packed my stuffs and bring it to my new room. This is great efficiency. The gym was very well maintain so are the swimming pool which was clean for swim. The executive lounge was very cool nicely decorated. The all day drinks with snack was very gd too. The ground level restaurant Tiffany cater many Asian stuffs. The foods is great and price reasonable too. The breakfast is quite well spread, the chicken pho tasted great. I will definitely be back again !

I purposely booked 2 double-bed apartments (supposedly with 1 bedroom only each). However the Hotel ran out and we we upgraded to 2 three bedroom apartments for free. Staff were nice and helpful (even though the waiting time for room was about 20 minutes). Rooms are spacious, convenient with lots of stuff norm to service apartment. We arrived really late and tired so no bustling around but still appreciate those. Shall be useful for next stay. Gym is small and staff quite neglect. We dropped off quickly for a quick steam bath. It is OK but not as modern as other 5 star competitors in town. However the general feel is the interior of the apartment wing is much much run down than the Hotel wing. Furniture is really old. Decoration style is typical from Korean interior magazine since 1950s. I am a big fan of hip and fun style so something edgier and more personality should be more enticing. In general, I think the price and the service shall make up for the downside. Still choosing it next time if price range is competitive.

The building is quite old, my unit somehow had smell of old house which I didnt like. Facilities in the apartment were new and clean. Breakfast was ok. I traveled alone for a business trip and booked a one bedroom apartment but they didnt have it and put me in a spacious 2 bedroom unit instead, very comfortable if anyone is traveling with big groups. Location is good, convenient, especially if you have any work to do with US Embassy or American Center. Surrounding area has Highland coffee, several Bun Cha eateries, and a massive pharmaceutical market with lots of pharmacies along the street. Staffs are very helpful and friendly, thank you Ms Huong who's always smiling and cheerful to help me with my luggage and questions. Keep in mind this is a residence and not a hotel, they dont have bellboys but they do have trolleys in case you have bulky luggage. Highly recommend for family trips.

It's a very nice hotel at a good price. Great location in central business district. The hotel is close to nearby restaurants. Walking distance to many places of interest, such as the supermarket, opera house. The room is nice, well furnished and clean. Gym facilities are very good. Hotel staffs are friendly, helpful and speak good English. Will stay at the hotel again for next trip.

Our first night in Hanoi, we stayed in a different hotel, which seemed to be like every other hotel in the old quarter. Inexpensive, but cramped and dark. Fine, but just. Then we moved a bit out of the chaos, 15-20 minute walk north (or 5 minute Grab ride) to La Belle Vie. What a difference. A little bit more expensive than some in the old quarter, but leaps and bounds better. Everything is new seeming, with amazing attention to detail. The views from the rooftop pool deck over West Lake (Ho Tay) at sunset are spectacular. And the breakfast is the best we've had in our 5 months of travel in Southeast Asia. A little out of the way, though short walk to the far less touristy West Lake, we'd recommend it.

I live in Hanoi and had family visiting. The Lakeside is right by my house, so a great location. Also a great location for anyone on business in Ba Dinh or looking to see a different part of the city.

This is our second time in this hotel. We book an executive studio with lake view, which has siting area separated from bedroom, a fully equiped with small kitchen and washing machine. The whole studio is spacious, new and with a balcony looking to the West Lake. The place is very clean and confortable so we did feel at home rather than in a hotel. Breakfasts are quite generous with great choice of hot foods and salads. My little son enjoyed the smimming pool where we enjoyed the small but nice gym. One can also jog along the lake road in the morning, which is just in the back gate of the hotel. The hotel is about 3-4 km from the city center but one can get there by taxi easily and quite cheap. Srongly recommended for families and for a relatively long stay (a week or more). We would come again to this hotel next time in Hanoi.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms were luxurious, spacious and clean. Bathrooms all had electronic toilets and the rooms all provided bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast was outstanding. An incredible variety of fresh food was available that catered for both western ad eastern travelers. Some food was made fresh by the chef such as eggs or Pho. The staff was helpful, polite and cheerful. The restaurant was also very good.Stylish place, Well decorated and cozy. They offered both a la cart and a set menu. The set menu included 4 courses and was incredible value for money. the food was delicious. The hotel also had many facilities such a swimming pool, restaurant (see above), cafe' (with nice sofas), a sky bar on the top roof with a stunning view and a massage parlour. The massages were excellent and a fantastic value for money. The girls were very discreet and excellent masseuses. They offered a wide variety of massages. The staff was extremely helpful, cheerful and polite. I stayed here for four days. An excellent choice. The hotel is located a bit outside the central area but I loved this as it was far away from the commercial city centre and there were not many westerners around. A trip to the centre by taxi took around 10 minutes and cost around $6/7.

This hotel is conventiently located near the center of Hanoi and offers a Japanese-style bath for both men and women. Laundy and dryer are available for free (+ detergent) which makes the stay even more convenient. If you happen to speak Japanese, there is a load of comic books you can borrow from the Hotel library.

We ended up at Brandi Fuji Hotel at around 1 AM, after our Air BnB reservation turned out to be not what we intended when we booked it. Our impression of the Hotel - first and foremost - was the kindness of the staff. It still strikes me to the core, how sweet - in general - the Vietnamese people are - which is an impossible trait to fake. When you look forward to saying 'Hello' to the reception girls, or the doorman, you know you're in the right place. The room itself was impeccably clean, well appointed, and had a lot of drawers to organize and put your clothes, and toiletries away, so you're not stepping over them, when moving from one end of the room to the other. The breakfast spread was delicious, and didn't cater to the pallid, boring taste buds of the average Westerner - thank goodness. I don't like when Hotels do that - and am very thankful for the Chef for making the meal memorable. My deepest thanks on behalf of my wife, and myself, for the wonderful stay.

Hotel was verry good and the location could not be better. Just outside the old quarter so no noise at night. The breakfast is more for oriental people. Lots of rice and noodles and soup but european people prefer bread and jam and crackers or so. This could be at bit better. The coffee and tea are horrible... The teabags are in the boiling water all te time so the tea is black and bitter and so is the coffee, old en to strong. But the hotel is modern, clean and big rooms and good beds and cheap.

The location is abit far off if you're into sightseeing, its more for those on visa applications to the embassies. However that makes the service very good. The hotel is nicely built in a way that rooms are not too far off from the lifts. The room is unique for couples in the bathroom glass wall. I would like to compliment the Bellboy (I think name is Henry, not sure if its the same Bellboy everytime) for helping with luggage, looking out for Grabcar/Taxi and also helping to umbrella when it was raining. Thank you also to the receptionist who helped give addresses of embassies we wanted to visit, and also to the night receptionist who informed us on the services of the hotel. Thank you for the great service! Will stay again if I have the chance to stay in Ba Dinh district again.

With 65-Floor-Hotel, You can experience supurb viewpoint of Hanoi. Enjoy the aroma of west lake while taking a bath in your room. It will be one of the best moment ever in your life. Also, service was perfect and Evian Spa, Top of Hanoi was EXCEPTIONAL. If you are heading to Hanoi, I strongly recommend this spot for unique, luxurious experience. But keep in mind. There is NO FREE MEAL. You shall be ready to pay for it.

The apartments in this hotel are large and with good furniture. We had a duplex apartment (on two floors), small area downstairs with a single bedroom, double bedroom, shower room and laundry, with washing machine and dryer. These downstairs bedrooms have no TV's in them. Upstairs was large, with kitchen, dining, and lounge and the master suite. There is a large flatscreen TV in the lounge and a smaller one in the bedroom. The master bathroom has a bath in it. All in the room apartment was great, but, there was NO cooking pots, pans, frying pans, utensils, nothing in the kitchen, just bowls and cutlery. Hence the disappointing facilities score. Parents staying with kids should be aware that the hotel is directly opposite a My Kingdom toy shop. Good for the kids, murder for parents.

It is on the expensive side in Hanoi. Very small hotel. Totally Japanese hotel catering to the Japanese people. Mostly business men. It is set up just like a Japanese motel in Japan actually. Spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Small portion. Neat. The staff should be a little more friendly.

Super clean new hotel. All the staff were kind also. It was about 15 min. from the old town area but we used uber so it was no problem. There is a convenience a store 30 second from the hotel. Only concern was a bed. It was a little hard for us. Overall huge space and quite so we like very much.

Clean room but room is small. No room services but hotel catered reasonable breakfast (many Japanese and 2 western choices). However, next road near the hotel has varieties of Japanese food. Satisfactory stay

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They texted me how to come to their hotel right after receiving my booking confirmation from Agoda because their hotel is not very well-located. The room is very clean with good furniture. We already had a good experience there. A-good-to-stay place.

Best place to stay in Hanoi. Large rooms clean and no too far from the Old quarter and Tay Ho

My wife and I had spent 4 nights in Hanoi Emotion Hotel. A very nice hotel although relatively small but located right in the central district of Dong Da. The services from the hotel staffs had been really helpful and very friendly. The panoramic view from the restaurant balcony is fantastic.

+ Spacious with all equipment needed for living. Good Internet. Well-equipped kitchen. Very clean! The best thing is their free laundry service. The staff are also friendly and helpful. - But remember to check with the host before you come; your room might be unavailable (even already booked) for some stupid reasons. I experienced this and was very angry coz I then had to move to another place for the first night. However, the staff were quite patient and offered to take me to the new place with 20% off the price. Later they again moved me to another building (luckily bigger and nicer), so I felt okay. What an experience to be surprised, shocked, amazed, and pleased in the end! => In short, this is a great place to stay with good food around. You should try!

My family and I just got back from an unforgettable 5-day trip to Siem Reap. We stayed in Wheel Garden Residence - a serene hidden gem with the loveliest staff we've ever met! The staff welcomed us with a warm smile, accompanied by a refreshing drink. They even offered us an early check-in, which was amazing, since we were really exhausted from the early flight. We have booked the family room which had 2 king size beds and was absolutely perfect for a family with two kids. The room and the bathroom were bright, spacious and immaculate clean. We fell in love with the outdoor pool area, a beautiful and serene small oasis, perfect for relaxation. The staff on reception was extremely kind to organize our tours to Angkor Wat and our tuk-tuk driver that we had the pleasure to meet every day during our stay here, became our friend : ) We would highly recommend this beautiful small heaven with all our hearts! Thank you so much for your hospitality! We'll be back for sure : )

I already booked.very late I reached the hotel waiting to check in with all the luggages and with 3 kids (one is 3months).they put the priority to check in first for a foreigner. then the receptionists said they had no room available and moved me to another hotel of the same ownership. Very fast they arranged the taxi for me to move and arranged the suite room of that small hotel with lower standard. The room had very nice view to the lake but the room was dirty,smelly and the breakfast was very poor. i complained via agoda and the hotel returned for me the difference in the price between the Sunny hotel and that Regal hotel when I checked out.I appreciate their acknowledgement and responded very fast to my complaint. But overall I felt mistreated as a woman with little kids

I booked a room here for my bussiness trip because of the reasonable price and convenient location. But the room was even greater than i expected. I will come back this hotel in the next trip in VietNam

this is the first time i was here. my friend booked it for me, he told me price & when i was there, very surprise because room is big & all equipments are new. i feel very comfortable with the bed. staffs are all young & friendly with good breakfast. launch since 2010, this hotel located in a quite street but not difficult to access the city center. the most suitable hotel for business traveler who has meetng schedule near by dong da, ba dinh & cau giay district. hope you all will have same feeling like me.

This is a nice neat little hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast room on the top floor overlooking the lake is a great way to start the day.
