Great quiet resort”

Beautiful quiet resort set round a pond. Comfy beds and rooms with good aircon and wifi. Small shop on site for beers and snacks. Close to main road but very quiet. Shops and restaurants nearby and friendly staff. Entrance through and at back of the Caltex garage. Good resort

Basic with the twist”

The room is ok in the cleanliness; some bugs are visible but since that it is sorta out in the open; I guess it is ok. Bathroom could do better; there are some mole on the tiles and floor are very slippy when taking a shower; not recommend for alone elderly. They do have some beverage provided, but it has to be self service at the counter check in. The location and the value for the money is excellent; however, bed and pillow are very hard, so bring your own.

Cute bungalow concept undermined by poor maintenance”

Tricky location to find directly behind (and reached via) a Caltex gas station along route 33, just west of downtown. Cute concept of colorful bungalows encircling a palm-fringed pond, with the railroad tracks just over the fence hardly ever a noise factor. However, our particular cabin, made t resemble a windmill (and including an extra floor matress in an upperloft, was a claustrophobe's nightmare, as well as being -- I suspect -- a general germ pit for the grubby, undercleaned feel of the place. Still, in spite that, and all the bugs, ants and mosquitoes that shared the space with us, we did manage to get a decent night's sleep. We might actually have spent some time in the a.m. on our private deck overlooking the pond, if not for the rain -- and our great desire to put this overpriced hovel in our rearview.

Good for easy overnight stop”

It was a good overnight stay. It's close to the main road and just behind a 24h petrol station, so there is easy access to a small shop and small restaurant. There is a pond at the back, yes there are a few moskitos but the staff kindly sprayed my room at dawn so I didnt have any problem. There are some fireflies around the pond too, and sitting on the balcony (with anti-moskito spray) it's nice and relaxing.

Pleasant basic hotel”

It was relatiovely easy to find and a comfortable but basic hotel. It was off the highway but in a quite setting. Staff were friendly though they did not speak much English. It was not far from the Cambodian border. It did not seem to have a restaurant. Two star classification would appear to be correct. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel”

beautiful area, service with a smile. If u need anything, they go get it for u. Unluckily there where no taxi's or busses nearby. But if u want to go somewhere they arrange a taxibike for u and bring u to the busstop. nice service

Nice place, big room”

Great for shopping, close to famous Combodia border market shopping, nice big balcony to sit outside and relax with a good book.Good coffee and eating place at walking distance also close to main road for connection to shops and supermarkets, evening markets and attractions in the area: temples, orchards and waterfalls.

The only good place to say in Wattana Nakhon”

finding this place can be tricky if you do not read thai, because the signs are all in thai. but just look for the caltex gas station on the main highway. the entrance to the resort is in back of caltex. the bungalows were very basic, but clean and new, with good tv's and good internet. no english channels on the tv, but for us this is no problem. the wifi was free and worked well in the afternoon and morning. in the evening, the signal was weak, probably because many people shared the same internet connection and router. the air conditioner worked well. the back porch was pleasant to sit at night or in the morning when the sun went down. the porch overlooked a man-made pond that had not yet filled up, because it was recently dug out. no one speaks english here. the location is great, being located on the main road, but with a long entrance that keeps you away from traffic and noise. it was very quiet. it is located about a kilometer away from burapha university and across the road from a public park. out front by the main road, next to caltex, are some basic thai restaurants. very convenient. aranyaprathet and the border market are an easy drive down the road. we will definitely come back.

Convenient Rooms open 24 hours”

A number of Bungalows, many backing onto a small pool. Rooms are basic but have what you need. Cars can be parked alongside the bungalow. I used it simply as a one night stop-over and found the staff attentive but facilities are sparse. But to be fair, I arrived at around 10 pm and left at 7am! Finding the Resort was difficult as the signs were all in Thai! The Agoda map helped (but didn't work very well on my android Phone) Google maps and help from a policeman established that the resort is behind the Caltex Service station on the Westbound carriageway.

Goede uitvalsbasis”

Resort(?)aan de doorgaande weg naar Poipet. Ver genoeg van de weg afgelegen om er geen last van te hebben. Gelegen (ver) achter een benzinestation, daarom nogal lastig te vinden. Gebouwen zijn recent gebouwd en schoon. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kabel televisie werkte niet. Parkeergelegenheid bij appartement. Geen restaurant aanwezig, maar ontbijt is mogelijk bij het benzine-station (2 restaurants).
