Great place, extremely clean”
Beautiful garden, maintained all day, the beach constantly cleaned and well equipped. There are seating and lying bags, hammocks and a beach bar. Everywhere clean, order, quiet place. The staff was absolutely great, friendly, helpful. To clean the house you need to hand over the key, or if you spend time on the terrace, just tell the staff, who is always available. I have to commend very good cuisine, good food quality, cleanliness and the food was very tasty. Prices similar to restaurants on the street, but food in hotels was much better. Close to the hotel are shops, restaurants, groceries, cafes. You can rent a motorcycle in the hotels. The island is small, you can move on foot. I recommend this accommodation, we felt there very well, the place is beautiful, maintained and well located.

Love my stay at Baan Koh Mak. The staff is incredibly friendly and nice and helpful. Location is great (sunseeeet!), the beachfront is clean and feels incredibly good! They rent scooters so going around is easy. Also did a boat tour through the hotel, that was fantastic. Food is really good too, and the rooms, well, they have a view on the sea, and they do the job really well!

You can walk forever on this beautiful white beach. The water is clean and warm. The beds for us where too hard. But found this quite typical in Thailand. The staff( bartenders, cleaners, yard ) all where so happy and friendly. This really made us comfortable! For the price it is exceptional value

The resort is on beachfront and the room is very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They are willing to pick me up from Koh Mak resort pier to the hotel.

What can I say, absolute paradise the travel restrictions have returned Koh Maak to what it used to be This resort is fantastic , a great location, the food at the resort restaurant is amazing and there are also some great restaurants on the main street for Dinner The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them

Superbly located with a beach club vibe”
I was happily surprised with the quality of Baan Koh Mak. This has a beach club feel to it, with well appointed bungalows with sea view (you can hear the waves when all else is silent), a restaurant on the beach, a beach bar, IG-like hammocks and swings. Very well located. The rooms could use a desk or bedside lamp and the bed's mattress was quite bad - these are the cons.

Everything for a simple, easy life”
We loved out stay at Baan Koh Mak. The accommodation is simple but has everything you need. The staff leant us a phone charger because we’d forgotten our travel adaptor. The location is really easy from the pier, arriving from Trat. And it’s very close to little shops and other restaurants. There’s a lovely beach bar with cool music and the food is good. Lovely people - they also organised our transport to our next resort. Totally recommend.

Located on sandy long beach. Not many sandy beach indeed on this island, quite rocky. No TV in room , air conditioning and refrigerator are available. Nice tasty foods. The best is the beach bar of hotel.

Nice quiet place to stay but bad matress”
Unfortunately terrible poor bed. I could feel every singel curled iron wire of the matress. Bring your own beach towel. No coffe at all just Nescafe in the restaurant. But the Staff 120% too friendly helpful!!!

Relatively affordable, lacking the facility like pool. There is a huge tree in my bathroom which allows little critters to come check me out while I’m on the throne.

Cozy and peaceful ”
It was a good place to relax and chill out. The room was clean, it was near the beach. There were many facilities to chill out on the beach (chairs, beds and a bar). Staffs was helpful and friendly.

One of best choice if on budget, 600bt is a good price online, disappointed that the staff couldn't give us same price online so we go another place next night.

Lovely Resort”
Very very friendly and helpful staff😊. I wasn't happy about the cleaness of the bungalow on arrival and complained about it. It was cleaned once again immediately and properly every day thereafter during our stay. The location is great. A little downside is, there are many stones in the sea which is particularly annoying during low tide. The bungalows are quite simple but at the same time very charming. Some hooks to hang towels and stuff on are missing in the bathroom and a power socket, too. But we enjoyed our week there and would book it again for a short getaway. 😊

Great place, has a few issues”
Honestly we enjoined our stay at the Baan Koh Mak, the price was very low and the location was excellent. The facilities need a bit of love, the water pressure in the shower was non existent and the hot water heater did not work. The room is made Thai style, with a bed and a small fridge, you don’t get a table or closet, you have to put your stuff on ground or the metal bar in the corner. Not ideal for western tourists. Even with the low prices, I don’t think we would book this place again, it’s a bit too spartan and needs a bit of work.
