A week in paradise”
Stayed for a little more than a week. Baan Minnie is well located between the main pier ant sai kaew beach. Close to many restaurants and shops, aswell as beaches. No need for a motorbike if you dont want to visit beaches further away. The owner is nice and friendly. The only downside is the vast amount of mosqitoes outside trying to get in the room. Will stay again.

There is no on-site person, you need to call the property number to contact and check-in. The outside of the building needs paint and cleaning, but inside of the room was acceptable. Queen size bed in Delux room, coffee but no water kettle in the room.

The host Minnie is really nice, she came at the pier to pick us up and gave us precious tips about the island. The room is in quiet part of the island but just next to the main street; very clean and modern. It has wifi, tv, fridge and everything you may need. It has also a really nice terrace where you can chill out during the night. I highly recommend this place to spend and an amazing holiday in Koh Samet.

The location is pretty quite. That's nice when you come back for take a nap and sleep. A bit of sand that you can't deny it's near the beach but it's clean. The owner "Minnie" is so kind, she is very busy but welling to help us and give us for more information. I'm very appreciated. Highly recommended. :)

Very large space, simple and comfortable!”
when I checked into the apartment I was very positively surprised of the very large space that is available and the unobtrusive interior. with the air-con in the sleeping room and the big fan in the living room it was always comfortable even though it was very hot outside (July 2017). There's even an additional mattress to deploy if needed for up to two more people if necessary! It's like a small house without a kitchen, even with terrace and large doors to open in the front. it's was very worth the price and also the owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful at all times and already contacted with me up front over WhatsApp to make me reach my goal and help me if in need. The only downside is that one has to walk or drive a little bit longer (ca. 10 minutes) to get to the beach, but one can easily rent a scooter for 300 Baht (ca. 7,80€ a day; July 2017) to get everywhere easily. Summarized I'd definitely recommend the apartment and it was a pleasant stay there. I've also seen another hotel on the island and it's far less space and much less comfortable than this apartment here. So I'd definitely recommend anyone to stay here solo or with up to 4 people in total!! it's really nice and overall totally worth it!! :)

Great, clean room”
The room was great, we also got an upgrade because of less rooms. Room had everything you need and was clean. You even had a little grill to do your own BBQ. The only thing which was a bit weird was that the check-in was via telephone, so no reception. Just the cleaning girls with no English skills were around. But all in all everything went well and we can recommend to stay here. Close in 5 minutes to the biggest and full beach of Ko Samed. Great for the start on that island!

Located in town, just off the main road so there is leas traffic noise. Less than 10' walk to/from the pier and about a 10' walk to the beach. Clean, simple room with a friendly owner.

We were three people booked for 2 person room (with extra bed) but the owner was very nice and gave us the bigger house with a kitchen! Very clean and nicely decorated place with good smell. Close to the pier, road and 5-10 minutes to the beach.
