Lovely hotel by the main road”
Love the hotel, lots of plants. Staff were really nice and friendly. Breakfast was just ok. A bit noisy but 7-eleven is just a couple minutes walk. Probably less than 10 minutes walk to Amphawa floating market. We would go back and stay in this hotel.

Nice staff”
The staff was nice. A little far from the floating market. The rooms are old, and there are very few power outlets in the room. Not bad for the price.

Friendly attentive staff, nicely kept”
We had a very good experience. Caught a van from victory monument (80 baht each, plus 80b for our luggage), driver dropped up off directly at Baan Saranrom, then picked us up at the driveway when we went back. It was very pretty with rooms nicely done. The young guy who runs it and his younger brother were very attentive and very helpful. I needed help with a couple things and they happily spent a fair amount of time taking care it the things for me. It was a nice break from Bangkok. We went to the Amphawa market on a Friday, which is more of a walking market, with only a few boats selling. The Damnoen Saduak market is better as a floating market and is near there, but we weren't there on the weekend when it was going.

Very close to floating market”
Amphawa is a good morning day trip to go to. Take 515 from Victory Monument to go to Sai Tai Mai (Southern Bus Terminal) for 17baht and then a mini van to go Amphawa (70 baht) then they will drop you at the last stop which is a bus stop... walk further down and you will see a resort looking building.. that's Baan Sanranrom because their sign board will not be in english. Their back gate leads down to floating market in minutes. Very convenient. Fyi The last bus back to Sai Tai Mai from Amphawa is 8:30pm but must buy tickets from the bus stop. Or you can take their public pick up truck transport to Maeklong see the Train Market at Maeklong Train Station (8 baht) and then find back the mini bus services which is beside the hospital over there. Amphawa floating market starts packing up to close by 7:30-8:30pm. Hope this will help tourists!

Friendly staff, clean and nice room!”
My friend and I had a good time at Baan Saranrom. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, though it's not easy to let them understand what we really want. Despite that, we're satisfied with the large and clean room. It's beautifully designed and under good condition. If I visit Amphawa again, I would definitedly choose to stay there.

Road signs in Thai. Take a screen capture. ”
I stayed 1 night, so I could take Amphawa at my own pace. Although the location was convenient, the road signage is in Thai. So a good visual memory or a screen capture will help you know what to look for. Breakfast was fried rice, fried bread, coffee/tea. The room was spacious. The bed was a bit hard, which I prefer. Overall, an excellent value - I didn't mind paying for two hotels for that one night (BKK and Amphawa).

Theyre not a 2*.....”
I really planned to lower my expectations as this trip was real last minute one and the only room left was from them (esp they rated themselves 2*). My mate & I were surprised!! 1. Customer Service: Really friendly owner.. And very extremely helpful one too. We had nice chit chats at night before bed.. And felt so at home. 2. Cleanliness: No, you don't expect it to feel like a villa. But it did. Our room was for the family one (but last room left because we flew the day right after booking was made). So clean, so comfortable. And safe! They latched gates at certain hours. 3. Location: Just a stones throw away from amphawa boat area, and yet not close enough for it to be constantly noisy. Public buses were easily available right at our doorstep for an adventure to sightseeing locations. No regrets! I will definitely be back.

Exceptional”
The fact that this place is about 100 meter from the Amphawa Market may be a turn off for some, but for us. It protects us from the hustle and bustle of the marketplace while being close enough to access to the market whenever we chose. The Thai breakfast served is simple, but super taste. Also, Adams, the owner, is super friendly. Chat with hime while there.

Well sites but in a noise tunnel”
Location wise, this hotel is very well situated: it is only a stone’s throw away from the Amphawa floating market. The hotel owner, Khun Adam kindly arranged a boat to take me to Wat Bang Kung. The room I had had a whole frontage of glass and was quite a fair size, charming, and comfortable. The downside is that the property is right next to the thoroughfare that cuts through the tiny town. The constant noise from the traffic is unpleasant, allowing little rest; and measures should have been taken to cut the level of noise down.
