Impossible to find for foreign travellers”
We stayed at this resort because of an early morning flight out of Surat Thani airport. The room rate is Thai, but so are the signs so you have to really ask around to find this place (and some Thai language proficiency definitely helps). The people are really friendly, and the rooms are very clean. Every room has its own little drive to park your car.

this hotel has to be the bargin of the century... large well appointed room, super helpfull and friendly staff, easiest check in and check out ever, good surroundings, the hotel is a few ks from town and suggest if you stay there you might like to consider getting a car, sadly there is not a lot of attractions in the town to warrant staying for longer as it is mainly a transit point for samui but that is not the hotels fault..i did read a few critical comments before i booked, such as no blankets etc, but the oversize "towel" is considered a blanket in most thai run hotels, another negative comment was about the tv..yes it is in thai, but to be fair, the hotel is in thailand and local tv s in thai all in all, this hotel would rate with others that are a lot more expensive and i think it is very good value for money.

friendly & helpful staff, but the weard place ”
we chose this resort as it was cheap and about 18 km from the airport. its setup a bit like an american motel with rows of rooms with parking out front. the rooms were nice and large and clean with usual mod cons. now heres the weard bit. there is no bedding to speak of justa giant towel and when i switched on the tv there was 15 channels of free porn, bonus....i know. my friend and i booked a room each, but when we booked in we where asked where our guests where as each room sleeps two, i get the idea that this is the sort of place you might book into with one of the local young lady that i'm sure frequent the bars down town, or you could hire the place by the hour. all the same the place was good value clean and the staff where friendly and a big help for us

Nice Bungalows, I suppose!”
I came after a crazy four weeks with friends around Thailand and Malaysia. I arrive late due to my delayed train. On my arrival, I was asked to pay for my room (though I had already paid online). The manager came out and asked me to pay, he then had to skim through his emails to find my booking. The problem was no-one spoke English. Throughout my entire three day stay not one word of English. The resort is far out, but I knew this, the manager will book you a taxi (not the cheapest). There is a bus station ten minutes walk, where the cheap local buses will take you to Suratthani or to Train station. Also there are local shops to your left and right where you can get basic food snacks and toiletries. The manager will try and tell you there is no shops and that you need a taxi for local Tesco's. Which has a KFC, Boots and other shops. However, the area is stunning, especially if you take a walk to your right and walk into the village (be warned, this is just a walk with nothing else to do). The resort is beautiful and the river running beside is nice to hear at night. However, extremely noisy in the mornings with random knocks at your door. No English on the TV, but internet is okay. Worth staying as a stop over or if you don't mind exploring. Better than staying in the noisy dirty city. You have the better Bangkok and Phuket for that.

hotel opened december 2011. taxi service is expensive. great hotel to stay 1 night while waiting for your plane. food is limited to local providers down the road; to the right as you exit, but it is good and cheap! the airport is 20 km away using the new hwy 417. highway deadends and then take a left and take a right at the u-turn.

Clean room and has free Internet ”
We stayed here because we got stuck in Surat Thani because of the Thai holiday. There wasn't any trains, busses or flights to Bangkok for a couple days so we stayed here until we could get a flight. It isn't near anything so the staff had to drive you back and fourth to a restaurant. Very little English and no English television so found it very boring. When we booked it said our airport transfer was included but then were charged 500 baht to be taken there. The room was clean and quiet. There was a few others staying but never saw anyone besides staff.

Very out of the way, adequate rooms”
We stayed just one night in this hotel between train and bus trips from Bangkok to Khao Lak. It was nothing special. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful but there was nothing to recommend it beyond that. There is no convenient place to eat. It was an expensive tuktuk ride back to the Tesco to find food. The truck driver they called for us the following morning to take us to the bus gave us the run around, over charged and dropped us off at the wrong place.

i arrived at 8.45. pm. the room was very clean. the cable tv had some international channels.. a football channel was a bonus. the wifi worked well and the bed was comfortable and big. i was set up to enjoy my one night stop over. however there was no 24 hour room service as stated. the caretaker sold me some crisps and noodles. he was as helpful as he could have been. the next morning the lady made me a coffee in reception and gave me a little cake.she helpfuly called a taxi for me

we got in off the train about 2 or 3 in the morning, night shift didnt seem to know anything about the booking but put us in a room anyway. not sure if it was the one i had booked, but features it had listed on agoda were not there. very far out of the way , which i normally like but not to this extreme. checked out at 12 as it was only a stopover and kept moving. doubtful of a return visit. staff were very nice the next dayand there was nothing wrong with the place really so dont be put off by my brief experience.

Budget hotel and that's it”
We only overnighted on our way out from the islands so not much to go on but really, there isn't much there at all! NOT close to restaurants or convenience stores (you have to walk quite a ways down a road that is very dark at night and pretty abandoned to get to a 7-11 type store and some street meat. Staff does not speak english and makes NO attempt to understand. Only ONE gentleman who worked there was very kind and tried to understand.. the woman at the front desk is miserable and has a bad attitude. Another staff member parked her car in our spot which is basically a garage immediately outside our door.. found that pretty weird! Room was OK.. very poorly laid out with nowhere to hang clothes. AC works very well. Decent place to overnight but I wouldn't spend any more time there! (and come with some food you bought on the way there unless you want to walk down that road for very limited food

no one spoke English other then the person who picked me up from the bus and that i had to have arranged by my last hotel staff as no one had a clue where it was i never saw that person again in the 2 days i stayed there no English on TV however a large asssortmemnt of adult entertainment provided on the television the area that the hotel itself is based is barren absolutely nothing you rely on them getting you a car or taxi anywhere and its fun trying to mime where you want to go (not) i also found that no taxi drivers in the town wanted to go out to the hotel when i had to venture there i had to pay ridiculous money to get to tesco and then from there to the hotel i would not do this again

well i have to catch early flight thats why stayed over night in this hotel.gosh one night is super enough.room is clean and comfort but the location is close nowhere.no restaurant in in near by.also the service can not really speak or understand english.anyway if i have another option i'd go for it.
