Quiet and relaxing ressort, great value for money”
We spent 2 nights here and had a great stay. It's a very quiet resort about a short walk to the public beach and a few minutes walk into the cafe's and bars in town. The staff at the resort are all very friendly and helpful, the resort is very tidy, picturesque & rooms are comfortable & impeccably clean. Had a great time here and would stay again

Great place”
We found this place by pure luck. Already from the pier on the mainland top experience when employees take care of everything. Great location. Amazing corals. Clean bungalows. Great breakfast (on our last day they even opened it already at 5:30 just for us). Amazing manager who will do everything for you. Few minutes walk to the village or the longest beach on the island. We will be back!

Quaint cottages with partial sea view”
Definitely recommend booking one of the Samed Resorts Group's hotels because of the convenience of their round-trip ferry from Ao Prao Pier to Koh Samed. At the pier, you'll be greeted by hotel representatives leading you to individual song thaews for the specific resort you've booked for, ensuring a hassle-free arrival direct to your accommodation. The room is essentially a small cottage that is cosy and complete with a clean and functional bathroom. The bed was comfortable and a good selection for breakfast (thai vs western style) was provided! We had trouble finding our way to the beach as there was a lack of signage upon entering Sai Kaew Beach Resort. Probably would choose one of the higher end Samed Group hotels if we return but Koh Samed is a small island and easily toured in one day on a motorcycle. The squid fishing night tour offered opposite Sai Kaew Beach Resort is not worth it if you get seasick easily though they do provide cooked squids at the end of the tour.

Worth your money!”
This place is very good with cleanliness, view, and surrounding.

Relaxing and quiet location”
The Hotel is located right on a small private beach shared with the adjacent hotel. The two hotels also share a large swimming pool. There are stunning views of the sea from most most of the individual bungalows, which seem to be undergoing updating, so they are in various states of renovation. Ours was in need of an some external renovation, but was comfortable with good bathrooms, fridge, aircon, and a lovely balcony. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and there is a wide choice of set breakfasts available. It is a 7 or 8 minute walk to the main beach, many guests hire small motor-scooters, or the hotel can call the local open backed taxis which charge 100 baht to the main beach. If you are looking a relaxing beach holiday, this hotel provide a good option.

Quiet & Nice”
We got the seaview cottage, right in front of the beach, but do take note that the beach on this part of the island is very rocky, so not for swimming. But it is within walking distance to the main beach, Sai Kaew Beach. Overall a pleasant stay.

One night stay”
Beautiful small resort with bungalows. Clean and comfy. Good bed. Interesting and vibrant color-scheme in the rooms. A hair-dryer would be a good addition to the room amenities. Free water and coffee in the room. Good location on the north side of the island, a short walk or motorcycle ride to the "main street". No breakfast available during our stay, probably because of covid-19. Nice small chairs outside the bungalow, a good surrounding to have a afternoon beer. Some mosquitoes in the evening, so would recommend bringing your mosquito repellant. Will stay again!

Good location, quiet, but with limited facilities”
The location is good, walking distant to restaurants and beach. Very minimal facilities but can access to swimming pool & beach with Sai Kaew Beach Resort. I think it's a bit pricey compared with what you get.

Adorable Hotel in Koh Samet”
A group of us stayed at Baan Supparod for a long weekend, and we all loved it! The hotel is located a few minutes walk from Sai Kaew beach, just far enough away to feel like a little private oasis. It has a nice view of the ocean, and the bungalows are spread out down a gentle slope. The lobby and entrance area of the hotel is gorgeous; open, airy, nicely decorated. A friend of mine took photos of the interesting windows and chandelier for her Pinterest! The staff was amazingly attentive from the moment we arrived, offering a welcome beverage and rearranging our rooms so that they were close to each other. The rooms themselves were cute and clean, with fun, bright colors on the walls and comfortable beds. Because the hotel is not right on Sai Kaew, it was nice and quiet at night, but still only a few minutes walk from entertainment. We all enjoyed breakfast in the morning, and had a great time lingering on the deck drinking our coffee. Breakfast was not included, but both Western and Thai options were available for a reasonable price. The hotel also offers free boat and shuttle service to and from the piers at Ban Phe if you go at one of their scheduled times. We were all sad to leave and would definitely stay here again. Great find!!

Excellent place to stay! ”
This place is fantastic. It's tucked into a peaceful garden area that is beautiful and is right on the water. However, you get access to the giant resort next door so a pool, a small beach, and the main beach are within a very short walk. It's also very close to town so you can walk there easily. The town has many wonderful, cheap restaurants. The staff were delightful - really kind and helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and recently renovated. They had the best shower and bedding of our whole trip. You have your own bungalow, so it's private. The free breakfast was great. They have a nice bar. We also got free dinner at the resort next door - average food which I'd skip if I went back. Baan Supparod was so lovely, it set the tone for an amazing experience on the island. Walking around and checking out other properties, we decided that it is the BEST place to stay on the island. Truly a gem of a hotel.

3-star hotel with 5-star service and ambience”
Excellent stay. Baan Supparod is part of a larger resorts group. While it is the 'cheaper" alternative to their more expensive sister resort, Sai Kaew Resort, it didn't feel that way. The room was great size, good water pressure in the bathroom, etc. Sufficient for having a clean space to sleep after all day at the beach. While it doesn't sit on Sai Kaew beach, you can walk thru Sai Kaew resort and be there in 2 minutes time. It's also close to the little center of town. My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much. Will definitely go back again!

Wonderful staff, beautiful location, very quiet”
After a long hot journey to get to the island of Koh Samet, the most welcome sight of the day was PK at the check in counter- so excited that we had arrived. Our favorite thing about this resort was PK. Hands down. If we had been staying in a tent instead of a bungalow we would have had just as good a time. PK either greeted us in the morning or the evening with his same kind smile, was always willing to chat and went out of his way to accommodate us everyday. We had originally only planned on staying here one night although due to the genuine friendliness of the entire staff we couldn't help but wake up every morning and say "lets stay here just one more day". Without even looking into other accomodations we ended up staying here for 5 nights. On our first night we stayed in a bungalow which was in the middle of the resort, the next day the staff moved us into the beach front bungalow without a hitch. The food was nice and the views amazing. We took a little trek around the eastern coast on foot to check out multiple beaches in a day- a fun little adventure. The main beach which hosts a bunch of parties in the night is nice for enjoying a beer or two in the sand or if you want to get a little crazy. We had our sights set on relaxing so it was a relief to come back to our quiet resort after being on such a busy beach everyday. If we ever go back to Koh Samet we know where we will be staying! Thank you all so much for your hospitality.

Perfect weekend destination”
A fantastic long weekend retreat. Baan Supparod continues to be one of my favorite destinations when it's time to escape the heat and hectic pace of Bangkok city life. I also recommend renting a motorbike to explore the rest of the island at your own pace and relax. Will return again soon.

Feeling home”
We came back to Baan Supparod because we loved it the first time and the experience was even nicer! The staff makes you feel like home, they even invited us to their staff karaoke and we loved it! The view on the garden and the sea is lovely, as are the entirely renovated bungalows. I will come back again for sure!

Excellent”
This place was like a little oasis, behind the secret garden door. Beyond the door you have the soft beaches you can access through the hotel next door which was much louder and not as quiet and peaceful. I would stay in Baan Supparod again!

nice secluded property”
I don't normally leave reviews for hotels, only if I think they were bloody terrible but this hotel deserves a wrap. The staff are awesome and the location just far away from the main beach to have a private, secluded feel. The garden bungalows are nice and clean and the whole property has a nice relaxed atmosphere, thanks to the all the friendly staff and we will be back next visit to Koh Samed.

Awesome new place!”
This place is new and it provides top notch service from the minute you arrive to when they wave goodbye at the end of your trip. I would recommend this place if your looking for a clean peaceful yet comfortable place to relax after a long day around Koh Samet.

Friendly cosy place to stay”
I stayed Koh Samed for only for a night on a weekend. Although surrounding of the resort is quiet, it is located within a walking distance (10 mins) of the Sai Kaew beach, also small local restaurants, bars, massage places, and shops, which was very convenient. The price included the shuttle boat from/to Ban Phe and transfer from/to the pier. The staff were all friendly and helpful. However, I found the room was a little small for the price. The room is very clean, though.
