We were looking for a place near the Amphawa floating market & Mae Klong Train Market. From this perspective, it resides on the other side of the river. Roads in this area are poorly maintained. We had troubles finding our way and there was no phone response from the reception in the evening to help us. Room maintenance needs some improvements. Yet the place was clean. The resort itself seems nice (not the neighborhood...) Reasonable value for the money.

(a) the hotel is so provate and so peaceful (b) good service (c) it's good place to relax (d) room cleanliness is fair (e) instant water heater does not work (f) the wifi signal in the room is quite poor (g) it's quite far from amphawa floating market - we can't go there by walk (h) the hotel is quite difficult to find.

Large rooms with river view”
On the whole it was satisfactory and pleasant however I had a problem due to the rooms having a rather strong smell of insecticide. It became more aparent during the night since I had to keep the bedroom windows/sliding door closed due to lack of mosquito screens. The adjoining living room had two of its windows screened so I ended up sleeping on the floor instead and could breathe fresh air. This mightbe a problem to asthma sufferers like me. Apart from this the pillows that were too large and high only causing strain on the neck. These were the only two things which bothered me.

It's alright”
We stayed 2 nights, rooms were clean except for the walls in the shower, had not been cleaned in a long time, this is a common problem in Thailand. Breakfast was absolutely crap, but had not expected anything else, we also had lunch one time and that was so so. Swimming pool and the sounding area was spotless. The rooms and the garden was so quiet, in the evening we could not here a single car. We booked boat thru the hotel and had the same boat for two days, excellent service there.

It would be a nice resort to come with a group of friends. The place is nice though it lacks a bit of soul if you come on your own. It's quite big and looks like it's catering for tours and big groups rather than individual families. You sure need your own car since it's in the middle of nowhere. And it's rather difficult to find. We had a pleasant stay but I'm not quite sure I would want to go back.

Our situation was a bit unique, as we arrived in town after dark on bike after a long ride. We called the hotel and they immediately came to pick us up, which was very nice of them. Lucky for us too, as we never would have found it on our own - the Google Map of the area uses older data that omits a huge bridge to the area the hotel is located in. Anyway, the guy in charge was very helpful and nice; the staff were about average for Thailand. Nice setting right on the river, very quiet and seemed almost deserted when we were there.

Good view close and located along with river. But far away from amphawa market. No free boat service to the floating market. The hotel facility is goid for company meeting or group seminar. Quiet and peace. You can make noise all night. Don't worry to bother neighbor.

Very hard to find this hotel. Google maps lists 3 hotels in Ampawa with the same name (2 of them don't exist) I suggest you call the hotel and ask for directions before you leave to avoid stress. Excellent staff, very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy and enjoyed our trip.
