Relax and privacy in klong khong beach”
Perfect place if you're looking for relax and silence. Somurrounded by green vegetation and palms you'll find your villa with big space inside, a little kitchen, fridge, microwaves, a huge bathroom and a little saloon with a cozy kind of sofa with a table in the middle. Perfect if you want to have the dinner in your room (they'll bring it to you). Food is great also!! And of course, very comfortable kingsize bed. We stayed in a Deluxe Villa. They have laundry service and they return all the clothes perfectly folded. The resting area in front of the beach is just perfect. The beach has rocks when low tide, but in the afternoon there's no problem to have a chill bath. The atmosphere in this part of the island is just peaceful and tranquil. And dont forget to visit the good-vibe bars at the end of the beach (leaving the resort into the beach and turning left. 5 minutes and then you'll find them). I specially recommend Krit's Friendly Bar! Amazing food and definitely the best cocktails in Ko Lanta.

This is a great beach resort in the best location of the heart of the island. It was a wonderful period staying this lovely resort. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the nice reception staff making our trip more valuable with her advice and tips about shops and restaurants around the resort within walking distance and interesting places around the island. All the staff were very approachable, helpful and extremely friendly. The room was super clean and really comfortable.The restaurant was totally excellent. The fresh coconut water and coconut smoothies are recommended to try here. Don’t miss walking around the resort to experience a beautiful tropical garden like a heaven. The beach is easily accessible from the resort directly only 12 steps from my room. It was naturally clean and peaceful. It was a very good moment with my family. Can’t wait to go back!

Paradise!!!”
We had an amazing time. The hotel and staff were amazing, the rooms are large, clean and beautiful. The gardens are perfect with fresh flowers arrangements done daily throughout the resort and the sunsets are breathtaking. The beach is very nice and great swimming at high tide. The sea is very warm. And at low tide go to Secret beach 5min scooter away. Breakfast was always very good and their cocktails are great. We were well looked after, even after we checked out. We did not want to leave!

What a dream...”
Beautiful garden villa resort and beautiful located at a calm spott of the beach. Big garden villas, small but full efficent pool. Very friendly people and the breakfast offers everything you need. Outside the resort (in walking distance) you find many restaurants, shops or massage, so this resort is all what we like about a beautiful Thailand vacation. For sure you can find cheaper places in Koh Lanta, but privacy and quality has it's fair price

Classy elegance right on the beach”
Very classy small resort right on the beach at Khlong Kong. Beautiful setting and gardens. Staff decorate water jars around the resort with fresh flowers daily. At low tide the beach exposes rocky shore, but also interesting to explore tide pools. Many other resorts/restaurants available with a short walk up the beach. Resort restaurant was OK, not great. But, highly recommend Kindee just a short tuk-tuk ride up the road.

Wow! What a beauty!”
This resort tops many of what I have seen. It is so serene and carefully designed. All the bungalows are beautifully integrated into the ever present garden landscape. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and attentive. The only drawback is that the beach which is just one minute walk away is not suitable for swimming unless you bring your neoprene shoes and have the ability to walk through the rocks and dead corals out into the deep water. If you don't have those shoes don't even try, you'll get hurt by the sharp shells covering these rocks which are basically everywhere in the shallow water. For everyone for whom a small pool is enough for swimming shall be sufficient.

What a gem! ”
We were delighted by our stay at Baan Thai. From the friendly staff to the little touches in the rooms and the fairytale garden and grounds, you can tell that this establishment really cares and takes pride in the service they offer to their guests. An absolutely perfect location right on a beautiful beach, and a 5 min walk from cute, relaxed beach restaurants and bars. The most authentically friendly and kind staff! By far the most lovely we met in all our Thailand travels. The restaurant food and cocktails were delicious and well priced. Plan your ocean swims with the tide - absolutely incredible swimming at high tide. Low tide allows the reef to be visible, creating lovely rock pools to check out and great for children to play in. I will only stay at Baan Thai from now on when visiting Koh Lanta! Thanks to all the amazing staff!

Paradise ”
This hotel was a beautiful piece of paradise in the middle of the stunning Thai island. We loved everything about our stay it was close to any restaurants or shops with many things to do if you wanted to be kept busy but equally perfectly quiet and calm If wanted to relax away from people. The staff were extremely nice and polite and would always help or recommend where to go. One thing I would say is the beach as during the low tide it’s not possible to swim. We didn’t mind though as we were happy to travel and explore other beaches on the island.

The staff tried hard to please during meals and were most attentive. Nina at the front desk helped us with many things and was very knowledgeable. She even managed to roundup some stray cattle who appeared at the beach! The beach was beautiful and quiet but unfortunately one could only swim at high tide due to much exposed rock and coral at low tide. The pool is clean and refreshing though. Food was made to order and vegetables tasty. There are other restaurants nearby, a short walk down the beach or in the village. The vibe here reminded us of Asian beaches of the 80's.

Probably the best hotel along this coast! Couldn't fault it with rooms being large, absolutely pristine and well cared for! Food very good and not expensive with an added addition of a "Happy Hour" all day long! Cant wait to return and already looking forward to sipping my cocktail while watching the amazing sunset!

Peaceful place ”
Nice and small hotel with a nice beach. The bungalows are modern and cosy. The breakfast is good. Nothing special but you can order eggs the way you like and you have fresh fruit and toasts everyday. It's a at a very quiet peaceful part of the island, we were there for 6 days in January and the beach was never crowded. So here's the perfect place to relax after a long roadtrip. We defenetly would come back again if we came back to koh lanta.

Poor Value”
When we arrived the room toilet smelt terrible. We complained to reception, but she didn't seem very interested, so we had to send an e-mail to Agoda. Only then were we given another. It was an upgrade, so that made things better. Very pretty buildings and gardens. The pool is nice and it's right next to the beach. No good restaurants nearby. No mosquito nets. Their restaurant's food made me sick. This was my fifth time in Thailand, and the first time getting sick, so best avoid their restaurant. The rooms and service is nothing special, but the price is expensive. Much better places to stay on the island, unless you want mosquitos and cat hair in your food.

Fantastic place ”
Firstly, don't get confused by anyone reviewing Baan Lanta Resort instead of Baan Thai Lanta- completely separate resorts but the reviews really confused me before our stay. Baan Thai Lanta only opened in Dec 2014 so the resort is immaculate, set in beautiful tropical gardens that are really well maintained. Rooms were fantastic, we had a beachview villa which was spacious and had a day bed they set up for our toddler to sleep in. The food was amazing, wide variety of traditional Thai dishes, at pretty reasonable prices, especially for a hotel. Staff were great, couldn't do enough for us - one night we asked if they had sparkling wine as we fancied some. Even though it wasn't on the menu, somehow they found a bottle, chilled it and sent it over to us within 10 mins! All in all, a fab stay and we were really sad to be leaving!
