Economic and very reasonable budget hotel”
I hope the owner of this hostel could do some improvement on their WiFi accessibility, I was staying at the 1st floor and unfortunately there was no WiFi available there at all. In overall, the services are very good. If you're searching for a budget and strategic hostel for sightseeing in Malacca, I would like to suggest this hostel. it's located 20 minutes of walking from the main attractive places in Malacca and it's also near with 24 hours shop.

this is my first time i stay in the hostel. my frist impression the moment that i entered this hostel, i like it very much. they kept the room clean and comfortable. i save a lot cos i don't have to use any transport. just walk and enjoy the historical of malacca. thank you . for those who the first time sure you all will like this place as your fist choice. enjoy..

Great place for Backpackers Central,Clean,Friendly”
Nice, clean and quiet dormitory, has an air con to escape the Melaka heat! I was here to cool off from the big city and this hostel provided just that. The hostel relatively new and staffs are super friendly! Extremely good for the money I paid per night! Also don't expect rolls-royce breakfast! But you can cook anything you like in the full size kitchen. Also the shopping mall and the supermarket is about 5-10 min walk form the hostel. I didn't cook cos the hawkers food around the corner is relatively cheap! A dinner will run you about 2-4 USD. I originally came here for 1 night to test the hostel out but decided to extended for 15 days more. Melaka can be done in 1 day but my plan was to cool off get some energy before I start backpacking again.

Perfectly located on the plaza within walking distance of everything! Fabulous double air conditioned room for the price. Even though the lounge is meant to be shared by all staying here we felt we were the only ones here...a true home from home with wi-fi,TV,DVD,dining table,comfy chill out area and kitchen. OK,so the toilets are Indian style and the showers are located within the toilets....but this really isn't as bad as it sounds - everything is very clean! The hostel is very secure and even though the night market is right outside it remains peaceful. We cannot recommend this place highly enough for the price...get there before it gets discovered!

i stayed here for 3days, the owner of the hostel is very kind, price is cheap and room is clean. Also, the owner's puppy is lovely! A good choice for backpackers! the location is good, cos only take few minutes from the hostel to the scenic spots.

Strategic location and warm service”
Comfortable and convenient. Air conditioner is cool despite the sweltering heat outside. Clean room and washroom. No security problem as no key is required to enter the premise. CCTV to monitor the movement of people in and out of the hostel. The ever helpful worker will be more than willing to help to bring your luggage to your room or down the stairs if you need help.

Very good location, just right opposite Melaka attractions. Value for money, the room are clean and nice. Just few dollar can get a place for overnight with breakfast. Highly recommend to all the backpacker, most of the place in Melaka you can just get a map and walk. Highly recommended hostel.

Great Location and a Warm Smile”
we reached the hostel quite late, but we are so glad that jonathan was there to wait for us. we made friends with the staff: jonathan and swamu both of them were very friendly and we couldn't wait to go back! toilet is shared amongst the occupants so if you're quite fussy about it, i'm not sure you'll be loving it.

the hotel was juz nice, the staff was very friendly. the location was perfect; in front of menara taming sari and 10 mins walking to historic city of melacca and jongker street. i definetely recomended this hostel and would come again when visit melacca.

Great location ”
the hostel was simple and peaceful. throughout the whole stay we did not really bump into anyone which gave it a sense of privacy despite the shared bathrooms. the rooms are spacious and clean with towels and blanket provided. there's even air condition which we really looked forward to after a whole day out in the sun. overall, the place was very value for money especially for those looking just for a basic place to stay and spend more money on shopping & eating.

Very good location”
I was welcomed by a most amiable man who showed me my room, and even accompanied me to the nearest cleaners where I had my soiled clothes laundered. A very accommodating person, indeed. He (and another hotel staff) even lent me a universal socket for my laptop and cellfone. The room was okay, with a well-functioning aircon which can be very cold in the evening considering that the room I was in was small. There was no blanket provided; no towels, too. The disconcerting part was the shared bathroom because there was only one in one floor, plus the fact that it was also where the squat bowl is located. There is a separate seat bowl adjacent to the bath though. The location is its major plus. It is so close to the Heritage Walk. One only has to cross the major street fronting the hostel (most tourist buses stop ply in this street), past the garden and then saunter along the area where Melaka's colonial past becomes alive, from Christ Church all the way to the Portuguese's section symbolized by the A'Famosa, then the Sultan's Palace, and St. Paul's Church atop a hill. On the way, there are so many souvenir shops. There was even a night market on that same street where the hostel is located at. There are also a lot of eating places, and so it's not a problem for one who has a discriminating taste in Malaysian food. Getting a bus to Melaka Sentral is also not a problem.

Located in the downtown of malacca. People can find this hostel in front of taming sari and beside the mahkota parade mall. Many food stalls surrounding and you can see the night market just beside the hotel. It also walking distance from ferry terminal

Good and comfortable hostel”
The room is clean and the staff are friendly. They are willing to talk and share whatever about the states with the customers. The price of the room is cheap and what you get is staying there is actually more worthy than what you pay for the room rate per night! But, every tourist have to pay an extra amount of RM2.00 heritage tax due to government policy. So, be aware of this issue whenever you stay in any hotel in Melaka.

Warm caretaker and clean”
A comfortable and satisfactory stay. However, air-conditioned is only turned on from 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 a.m. Then air cooler is used as an alternative to save energy. While this is good as travellers would only come back to rest at night, it may not be ideal for people who want to rest during the day. Perhaps, the hotel could come up with a policy like Tune Hotel. If guest requests to use the air conditioner, then he/she has to pay a little more. A clean place and a warm caretaker are basically essential for a comfortable and good rest.

When I had arrived at this hostel, nobody was there, so I was forced to wait for my chec-in more than 1 hour. Rooms were clean, but air-con was in operation only night time, so if you would take a short rest at the hostel, you'd get swetish.
