"I booked with a no cancellation policy, but due to unfavorable weather, i wasnt able to pursue my trip. i called the hotel for reconsideration and they kindly moved my booking date at no cost. thank you so much! the hotel is nice, the room was spacious. and the hotel staff were very polite. the hotel is located at the heart of bacolod city. one minute walk from Calea, a coffee shop that serves one of the best pastries in bacolod. it is surrounded by restaurants and convenient stores. one ride (jeepney) going to Robinson's and SM city. Theres a pasalubong shop beside the hotel. so convenient staying here. One thing about this hotel is that they got the best spa service in the city. Unluckily, i wasnt able to book for a massage because all of their therapists are fully booked. Il surely stay on this hotel again. "

"Staff was fantastic. Thank you. Stayed 2 nights at a famous hotel in Bacolod and the Seda was far superior. This will be my choice for all future trips. Super comfy bed. Great bar on top floor (even had Don Papa rum (at a stupid high price)). Great service, good food. Really enjoyed this hotel. Thanks."

"It is an old hotel along Lacson St., so I don't have to walk far to get a ride. It is within walking distance to SM malls. If you travel for business it is a convenient location to go. Though the room lights are not meant for working. Internet connection is ok. If you travel with a senior citizen it may not be so convenient without an elevator. For comfort, the bed with comforter is ok, but pillows are small and limited to just one per bed. Sheets are very clean and white and room cleaning is done everyday. Towels are NOT soft and fluffy, the water heater sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. The package I got did not include complimentary bottled water, coffee or tea or newspaper and breakfast. Most hotels in Bacolod already offer that as part of the package for about the same price. The hotel does not accept credit card for payment of room service orders, though I booked using my credit card through Agoda. Initially, I was asked if I will pay through cash or card, and when I said card, I was later told I can only pay in cash. I was told the same at the front desk upon checkin. I didn’t mind at that time, I can pay anyway. But reflecting on it now, I do not understand why the hotel imposes different policies on guests. It could have been more convenient if you can just swipe and go. I booked a REGULAR room and just forget about it after I've done the booking. I expected to get what I booked for when I get there. I checked back now as I write this review on the room features published, as those were the major considerations for my choice of hotel. I just realized now that for two instances (my first booking and now), the room I got did not provide the features they published. NO refrigerator and NO hair dryer. If you are keen on getting what you paid for, remember to check that all conveniences are in place. Hopefully, you wont end up in a difficult argument."

"The Suites at Calle Nueva looks small from the outside, and the front desk area/restaurant looks smaller, but going towards the room, you find a great spacious receiving room that has a casita feel, like some Peruvian courtyard with lanterns and painting, surrounded by the rooms (I think there are 20). It is located in downtown Bacolod City, but tucked away in a small street from Gatuslao Street (the main road where La Consolacion and the city park are). This hotel boasts of a wonderful and very competent, cordial staff who knows what they are doing. They'd arrange for your taxi rides if you inform them (pay the taxi, not the hotel - P500 to the airport). My room's at the 2nd level where I was upgraded to a deluxe, a spcious, beautifully decorated room with sophisticated curtains and to-die-for bed sheets/duvet. Wifi is really fast. Prior reviews seem to point the intermittent and poor wifi signal, but this seems to have been remedied. Internet is stable and very fast (I could download stuff in minutes). My booking has inclusive breakfast but since I had an early flight out, the staff packed me a delicious ham/egg sandwich with bottled drink. It is hard to find fault really. The street where the hotel is IS NOT dodgy but it is a row of small carinderias and videoke bars. THIS IS is downtown area so "inherent noise" is to be expected, and this is in the form of videoke singing till 2 PM, but it wasn't something that was absolutely bothersome that I couldn't sleep. If you do NOT want noise, stay away from the whole DOWNTOWN area because noise is part of any city center. I could walk to the baroque San Sebastian Church; to the city park, and SM Bacolod. Even Museum is walkable - or take a 7 peso, 5 minute jeepney ride. Great place and I have been to Avenue Suites and Circle Inn before. "

"My room for 2 days, I really enjoyed my stay here in this hotel Its like your just staying in one of the bedroom in your home, because outside your room was a dining/living/kitchen room all in one that you can use, I'm talking about there 2nd Floor Area where my room is, also It is a one jeepney ride going to some bacolod landmarks like SM Bacolod, Bacolod Lagoon, Negros Museum, The Famous Cake and Pastries of Calea, Bacolod Plaza and more, my only downside in this hotel is there shower room you will need to wait for a 20secs. water interval when using there shower or faucet, I dont know If that happens all the time but during my 2 days stay it is consistent, probably If I just complain It to the staff maybe they can fix it but sad to say I didn't complain at all. but none the less this hotel is a Budget-Friendly one. Sure to come back again when I revisit Bacolod."

"This is my favorite hotel in Bacolod. Conveniently located downtown within walking distance of good restaurants, convenience store next door, even karaoke lounge nearby. Hotel is older, but pretty well kept up. Swimming pool I did not use. Good hotel to have conference in Bacolod. I saw Pacquiao boxing match in ballroom. Restaurant has buffet breakfast, but limited selections, but what was given was good. "

"i loved the big room i stayed because , it was located in the ground floor, facing the street. it was quiet and comfortable because, of the wide parking lot infront of my room, still it was quiet. i loved the buffet breakfast because, it was yummy and the chef was excellent. everyday the buffet breakfast dishes are not the same. the meals has reasonable prices. the swimming pool is big. the gym is good enough. it was clean and orderly. the interior design was fantasting. the beautiful and courteous receptionists are always friendly and accomodating to my need. the security guard are always alert and they did their job properly. since i was a solo traveller they always login my cabs plate no. , operator, and name and complete biodata of my cab driver. circle inn hotel and suites is a safe place to live and the neighborhood are safe and peaceful. no stress no worries. people of the world please check in, in this hotel. the price is reasonable. it is located in the old downtown of bacolod"
