I would recommend it!”

Bamboo Guest House is in an ideal location - 5mins walk to centre with shops, mall and bars or to the seafront. It is small with only a handful of rooms, which means it is quiet and the owner pays close attention to everyone. Everything is clean and breakfast is served according to Covid-19 regulations (no hot breakfast and you cannot make toast or grab anything yourself) but it is served to you by the owner according to your wishes (toast, cheese, muffins, cereal, coffee etc.). The only issue I found is the bathroom could do with some TLC (some mould spots appearing, the shower head could do with descaling and the shower hose needs replacing as it was leaking). I would definitely stay again.

Sunny weekend break in Bournemouth”

A lovely sunny weekend away in Bournemouth, which was topped by staying at the Bamboo Guest House. Bamboo is run by Izabela and Lucasz, a lovely couple who are friendly and helpful. Parking, if not on the road is very reasonable at the NCP car park. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a continental breakfast, with an array of fruit, yogurt and bread. We thoroughly recommend Bamboo Guest House to everyone. Thank you for an excellent stay Isabela and Lucasz

Great place to stay”

Me and my partner were very happy with the accommodation and the room was lovely. The location was perfect within walking distance of the beach and town centre. Staff were very helpful when needed and we were left alone to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was included and had good variety on offer. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone else. Was a perfect weekend getaway which owes a big thank you to Bamboo Guest House.

Went with my wife for a short stay, was welcomed and had everything explained smoothly. We were then left the key. Beds and facilities perfect. Breakfast selection wide. Works of art around the house created by one of the owners, very cool. Great stay.

Boutique is a stretch”

Pictures of room quite deceptive, as very small, and needed to climb over bed to get around room. Clean and refurnished, but installation of closet and ensuite means little room to move around. No seats in nroom. TV very small LCD. Not very suitable for 4*. Good coffee making facilities in room. Very poor shower pressure and water not very hot. No shampoo in shower. Just body wash. No english breakfast. You have acess to coffee machine, but had to use myself. Continental breakfast, with access to maybe one Croissant, and bread for toast as well as jams, honey etc. Owner / manager was attentive and helpful. Excellent wifi. Boutique. No. Worth the price? IMO, no.

A great little place to stay for a short break”

Louise and Jake are the perfect hosts. Very friendly and clearly enjoy what they do. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel so welcome, left to my own devices but very well looked after. I came back from a walk, soaked after being caught in the rain and was brought a hot coffee and muffin, which was much appreciated. If I had to give any downside, for me personally was the parking but there are car parks very close by and this is obviously no fault on them. Short walk to the beach, shopping and other entertainment. Overall a lovely little place to stay, very clean and welcoming. Thanks guys 😊

Great stay”

Clean, location, decor

Very enjoyable, clean and furnished to a high standard. Free parking out front if you can manage to park, otherwise there is an ncp car park £6 for 24hours, but it does get full as it's not that big. Breakfast was good (no full English which we knew, but a good selection of jams, fresh warm croissants, fruit, yoghurts and cereals.
