Exceptional”
The most pleasant place on Koh Mook! The island is great itself but Bamboo hut is its heart. Great food, clean rooms and good price. Short walk from Charlie beach. We just had to stay extra nights!! Most of all the owners are adoring and helpful people which makes the place like home. Would not consider any other place to stay!

You pay for what you get here. Rooms are clean - fresh sheets, bins new, clean towels, as you would hope. But also expect mosquito nets with holes, some bad smells, dusty rooms and insects etc. But hey you don't want to deal with nature, don't stay in a Bamboo Hut and be prepared to pay more than 15 per night! The location is up a bit in the hills, its near the 'cool' bar Ting Tongs, its a 10 minute down the hill to the sunset beach location Charlies. And its a 20 min walk to the village. The massage next door is AMAZING! they go hard, so be prepared. The food at Bamboo Hut is really really good. Some of teh best we have had during our Thai trip. We had some lovely lazy afternoons in the bamboo tree-house vibes restaurant, listening to the beautiful sounds of nature, and contemplating life. If you want and experience, this is a lovely one.

Really loved staying at the bamboo huts. The bungalows are basic but clean and cared for. It is only a 10 minute walk to the best beach on the island. The owners are amazing, nothing was too much trouble. I stayed for 4 nights and generally ate in their restaurant for all my meals. Really good home cooked thai food and reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a great few days and for looking after me.

The sweetest owners who will help you with everything. It is very basic, but that was the perfect fit for me. Definitely the best place to stay on koh mook, best food and they have an amazing massage place right next door. I will definitely come again!!! Thank you so much for an amazing stay!!

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Just really nice people. We felt really comfortable at that place. Would have stayed longer if we had the time. Bungalows a very simple, but clean and good value for money. I can also recommend the food.

Quiet, not far from the beach”
Simple bungalow in a quiet setting. The beach is maybe 7 minutes walk down a path which gets very muddy and slippery if raining, good otherwise. Friendly family and very quiet setting

Charming ”
I really loved this place and ended up extending my stay. I was in one of the bamboo huts at the older location (they decided to build some newer huts just around the corner) and it was extremely basic, but a bit like playing Robinson Crusoe. The couple running the place were the sweetest, and happy to help with anything you needed. They did have a water jug for free refills, so consider bringing your own bottle. Koh Mook needs some tlc in the plastic pollution department.

Bamboo hut bungalows was perfect for our trip to Koh Mook. The location is a ~20 minute walk into town or to Charlie beach, and is very close to the Hilltop restaurant, which has delicious and affordable food. The bungalows are basic, but have everything you need. Staff are friendly and helpful.

No tengo palabras para llegar a describir lo bien que nos han tratado en este alojamiento. Estuvimos 5 noches en la isla alojados aquí y es sin duda el mejor lugar en el que os podéis quedar. Tanto la dueña cómo el personal son personas encantadoras que tratan de hacer tu estancia lo más agradable posible y siempre con una sonrisa. La dueña nos ha organizado todas las visitas a las islas de los alrededores y nos ha aconsejado sobre qué sitios ir y qué sitios no ir, todo a un precio bastante económico tendiendo en cuenta el resto de agencias, nos ha ayudado absolutamente en todo lo que le hemos pedido. Por otro lado, la comida está muy buena y tiene unos de los mejores precios de la isla. (Si no tienen algo que queráis en el menú, pedirlo y si pueden os lo harán sin problema). Además, tiene buena señal de wifi, se puede alquilar una moto ahí mismo y las habitaciones son muy económicas. Sin duda volvería a alojarme aquí mil veces si tuviera que venir a la isla otra vez.

Très près de la belle plage, calme, rien à voir avec les îles super touristiques, je cherchais exactement ça. Calme. Personnel très gentil. Un frigo aurait été bien. Bungalow très simple, le lit est confortable la salle de bain simple mais pratique. Il ne faut pas chercher le.luxe mais finalement on est toujours dehors et à la plage. Très près de petits restaurants locaux. C était bien
