Good Value hotel in Ban Chang which is clean and very spacious. Need Car, close to Tesco, need to drive to beach, small swimming pool. Great if you have own transportation and have other activities planned in the area.

I enjoyed staying here. The rooms have everything i needed. Clean rooms, good value. After being in Pattaya for a week it was a relaxing break. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. U r about 2km from main downtown Ban Chang. Ask for taxi number at reception or do a crazy walk in the humidity like i did..

Really nice, new, clean hotel complete with everything you need when staying in Ban Chang! Affordable, quiet and modern! For almost no money at all you get a king size bed, large fridge, a balcony, AC and excellent wifi! 5 minutes walk to restaurants and a couple of music clubs! Couldn't be happier with the place, top 2 of the hotels I've stayed in when visiting Thailand!

I am moving to Ban Chang for work and visited this last weekend to secure long term accommodation and a vehicle. Both I managed to achieve because of the helpfulness, patience and understanding of the owner, Mr Lee. Mr Lee and his staff went out of their way to put me in touch with people. Mr Lee is very well connected in Ban Chang, extremely knowledgeable and speaks excellent English. On top of this great service, Ban Chang Apartment and Hotel is in a great location close to the main attractions and the rooms are very reasonable in terms of price and quality. Highly recommended to everyone, especially first time visitors.

I've stayed at most of the hotels in Ban Chang, and this one is the most comfortable, by far. 1. Good mattress 2. Good internet 3. Good water pressure in shower 4. Quiet 5. Clean 6. Pleasant Most hotels in Ban Chang have plastic mattresses, not this one. A lot of hotels have road noise, not this one. The hotel also has a comfortable seating area with breeze and garden. The whole hotel is nicely shaded by its garden and trees. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This place is great to stay or drop by! Staffs are very kind, cafe and hostel are superb. Will be back again 😍

Like many hotels in Ban Chang, this hotel uses plastic mattresses. And no mattress pad, so you're sleeping on a thin sheet on plastic. This is very uncomfortable. The window is a small window over the balcony door, too high to see out of, so feels like a windowless room. The photos of the room are deceiving, the room does not look like the photo.... No bedstand, no lamp. They purposely avoid showing a photo of the window. In summary, the room is an old cheaply furnished room with terrible mattress and basically no window.

I had wonderful experience staying at this resort . I agree with other five star reviewers that this is a charming facility in a great location. This place not far from the airport and there are tourist attractions as the beach such as Prayun beach and Phala beach not far from the accommodation. The staff very nice. Highly recommend and hope to return soon

Basic room was a bit tired, although spacious. Breakfast was very simple. Staff was not very engaged. The place needs to be freshened up or it is likely to continue to decline. Not too many choices in Ban Chang if you want location without being in the midst of the bars.

The hotel is quite large, clean and staff were great at checking me in quickly and courteously. The room was large and bright, twin beds, great shower. The bed was quite hard, but I prefer that. It's right on the main street (bar area) and a short walk to the main road. Large covered car park for cars and motorbikes. Breakfast is tea and toast, but plenty of places near by if you need anything more substantial. Not much to do if you don't have transport, the beach is about 8km away. I would stay here for a night, but if you are over on holiday you will probably need to be in pattaya or closer to the beach. Good for a night or two, if you are staying in Ban chang.

My wife and I loved our stay at Penny's. From the moment we drove in, we were welcomed like family. There is no pretense to this place or the folks who run it. We spent a wonderful two days, relaxing, swimming--in a great pool, and talking with a couple we met from Sweden and of course with Penny and Eddy. This is a fairly new venture for them and they have plans to perhaps slowly expand it a little. What seperates this experience from others is the family atmosphere. Sort of like a Bed and Breakfast experience but you have your own little cottage like room. Its close ( 10 mins or so from the beach areas of Ban Chang) there are all sorts of local places to pick up food, and supplies. The price for Penney's is quite reasonable! I think they are constantly trying to improve the facilities and the experience for the people and so I am sure this place will be even MORE of a great experience as time goes on. We appreciated very much Eddy and Penny and we will be back!

Location is far away from everything. There is no resturant or even the vending machine at the hotel. Breakfast service is very poor. There was some left over unclean dishes from the night before in the breakfast room. Staffs were late to work and the breakfast can not start on time.

Fairly new and OK for the money. If you do book a room here then you need to know that it's not on the main road like the Agoda map shows, it's actually about 150 metres off of the main road behind Tesco Lotus.

Nice first time stay here. This is a hotel that was bought a year or so ago and has been going through remodeling. It's about 2 blocks from the Ban Chang bars, and is guest friendly. Basic room, with a comfortable bed, new TV, and warm shower. As they continue remodeling, I expect that the bar will become nicer also. Very affordable room rate, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
