Way too disappointed for the 3-day stay in Banana homestay. ”
No fridge, no tv, 1 egg for breakfast, no any service, have to carry your own luggage dozen flies to your room, bathroom is dirty, bed is hard as a rock with springs popped up to your back.... Anyway, this room is only worth 12 usd.... our BIG MISTAKE !!!!

It's a home away from home. We loved everything here ~ the whole place, our sea view room, the owners, their service & assistance, food, coffee, dogs, and cats! The place is just one quick taxi ride away from Sun World Halong Complex. They will be more than happy to assist you and call trust worthy taxis around the area to drive you anywhere in Halong. Their home cooked Vietnamese food were sooo good - so ask them to cook you some dinner.

I loved this place and the hosts! Great food, hot wayer and comfortable beds. They definitely know how to make you feel like family. You must lobe dogs and cats, they have a few of each. My wife and I loved it so much we stayed 2 extra nights.

Unique and with charms; lacks some basics of a hotel ”
The owners are incredibly nice and made us feel very at home. This is a good choice for someone who loves animals (there are kittens and dogs) and appreciates a nice balcony view. The location is wonderfully convenient to the port. The dinner we had was one of the best of our week in Vietnam---delicious home-cooked food. Definitely eat a dinner there. The small issues we had were part of the homestay experience: we had no key to enter from the street so had to use cell phone roaming to call to be let in, weren't sure how to get more drinking water at night, and had to ask for towels and how to get hot water for the shower. These were small things though, and a guest just needs to be proactive about asking for what they need if they aren't oriented when they arrive. Overall, Banana and Rose was a welcome break from a series of hotels and a unique experience.

Great hidden gem”
Our whole experience of Ha Long was made better by staying at Banana and Rose. In the morning they asked if we wanted dinner that night, we agreed not knowing what would be on the menu but had the best meal so far in Vietnam. The staff were so helpful and hospitable.

Уютный уголок на острое Туан Чао”
Совершенно точно рекомендую путешественникам останавливаться в этом уютном гостевом доме! Мы остановились на две ночи с целью дальнейшего путешествия на круизе, который отходит как раз с этого острова. Хозяйка встретила нас сама - невероятно открытый и добрый человек. Она талантливая художница и весь дом украшен ее рисунками. Дом расположен на многоуровневой поверхности и ухоженной территории. Есть бассейн! Все места продуманы, есть много уголков где можно сидеть и наслаждаться видами на бухту. Друг хозяйки так же очень любезен. В целом остались самые приятные впечатления. Спасибо!
