It was our first time to Chiangrai. Banlomnow was our right choice. It is located in a small lane. If you want to run away from the noisy main street, you must choose it. By the way, it is not far away from the things you need, like food, drinks, shopping.... quite near to night market and a big shopping mall. The front desk lady can speak very good English. She suggested the good places for sightseeing. She is our angel, always with a sweet smile. The room is cozy, new and clean. I am sure that the owner runs this house by heart, you can see from the decoration, cleanliness and every single little thing. We enjoyed our 2-night stay and will definitely come back to Banlomnow next time. .

Cozy home and the kind host”
This is a nice little hotel with well-designed building and garden. It is super cozy as if you are staying at a friend's place. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. You can have yummy sandwiches and Pa-Tong-Go (Thai unsweetened Churos, in my opinion) for your breakfast with your choice of drink. And that's just enough to get, set, go. ;) It is quite difficult to find the hotel though. If you travel by car, you may need to use mapping apps in your mobile phone (which is what i did) or some sort of GPS navigator. If you come to Chiang Rai by mass transport (plane/bus), you may need to hire a taxi. Or perhaps the best thing is to consult the hotel staffs before you book the room.

Happy stay wtih good price”
We didnt spend much time at the hotel, but the host was very friendly and offered food and drink to us in the morning. I think most good rating were came from good services as the room we were staying was a bit worn out, shower was weak. No doubt at all it was still good price, i just think it was over rated as the best 3 star hotel in Chiang Rai.

The hotel is a little difficult to find, but after we found it, we loved it! It is clean and quiet and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's on a back little soi(alley) but after walking or driving to the main road, you can access anything in Chiang Rai very easily.

it is modern and clean in a garden like setting in the otherwise ugly town of Chiang Rai. The staff is the most service oriented I've encountered in a country that is know for it's helpfulness. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed with all the immunities. Everything was excellent about. They do provide a breakfast that is adequate.

Excellent rooms in quiet neighbourhood”
This hotel is a little far out from the centre. However, you can get a tuk tuk for 50 - 6- baht to the night market or night bazaar. The rooms are excellent - large and very clean. There is secure parking and the staff are excellent. Well worth considering if you are looking to stay in Chiang Rai.

Nice guesthouse and friendly family”
Banlowmon We had a very good stay at this little guesthouse. All the staff is so friendly, and helpfull. Nice spacious and brighten rooms, nice decoration. All day free coffee and tea, some fruit and snacks available.Breakfast is a little poor, congee, hard boiled egg, salad, fruit sticky rice and pork skewers buffet, also bread butter and jam. But for me it was ok. Very quite hotel, only 2 km from the city center, so you can go walking. Seven eleven, a small market and some restaurants only 5 minutes around the corner. I definitly will recomend this guesthouse.

Amazing Host”
Our stay (3 days) at the hotel was great. The best thing is the service. They called our taxi, told the driver where to go, organized a perfect trekking trip to the jungle. The host takes care of all your needs. Much more than you would ever expect from that price. The hotel is a little bit outside the inner city. But by taxi it only takes 5 minutes. So no problem. Thanks again for everything.

The hotel is new, about a year, the staff told us. It is clean and nice. But, it is basic. If you are staying for a longer period of time and need more facilities like a pool, sauna room, spa, etc. This is not the right place for you. It is of adequate size for my family. Everything is clean. We took 2 rooms upstairs and a room on the ground floor. It is a quiet place and we had to remind our children not to go too loud as not to disturb other people. There is no view as it is surrounded by village houses. It is not too far from the bazaar but I don’t think you could walk to anywhere interesting. We had a car & driver so we encountered no problem. Bring a hotel card with you if you need to use the public transport. Breakfast was simple, but it was good and tasty. The lady staff was so sweet, polite and helpful. She speaks adequate English and was helpful in providing necessary info to us.
