Staff are very friendly and service was top notch. Villas are situated not too near each other so there is privacy even in the outdoor balcony / jacuzzi area. Furniture / interior does look worn but is still very spacious and comfortable. Great ocean view from the room, and spa was fantastic. Pool and beach were good too and due to the smaller size of the resort, these are never too crowded and you can always find a chair to laze around on. The moment you settle down, staff will immediately bring you towels and cold bottles of water - once again, top notch service! There is buggy service to get you around anywhere in the resort too, so you need not walk to get anywhere. Food choices within the resort were limited though, same for the in-room dining menu. Overall, worth the price and makes a very good getaway!

Excellent choice for a quick break from Singapore”
Very nice facilities and amenities. Our villas was amazing. Perfect for relaxation. Excellent service wherever you go. Breakfast selection is fantastic. Lunch and dinner also good, but a bit pricey. Will definitely choose to stay here again when I come back and stay in a two-bedroom villa.

Staff were friendly, they arranged all transportation needs and even collected my ferry tickets before sending me back to the ferry terminal so I didn't have to queue for the ticket collection. Breakfast at Treetop was excellent. Oceanview Villa was excellent, cleanliness is top, service is great, private jacuzzi with ocean view is beautiful, good for people who need to recharge and away from work and city for a bit. Dinner at XANA beach club was okay, food is average for 600k rupiah per pax buffet, but all is well, no complains. Cocktails and beers for happy hour 4.30-6.30pm at the beach is absolute steal, it's very very worth it, not to be missed. Special thanks to the resort when they automatically extended my checkout to 6pm for free when they noticed my ferry is at night. Excellent services. Price is a little bit steep, but it's worth it. Good experience!

I have visited many 5 star hotel around the world and I have to exclaim without a shadow of a doubt Banyan Tree takes the cup!! From the polite and courteous staff to the spacious and luxurious rooms with spectacular views of the rainforest and ocean. It honestly felt like we were in paradise. If an amazing breakfast is a must for you, then I would highly recommend their breakfast spread which has something for everyone!! I will definitely be coming back to Banyan Tree Bintan!

My partner and I had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the Banyan Tree Bintan. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful and they really made our stay extra special. As check in was not until 3 pm we arranged to visit the spa at 1 pm for a few treatments. We checked into our rooms by 4 pm and were welcomed with a birthday cake for my husband and views of the sea. The room was clean, inviting, and the bed was super comfortable. Another positive thing about this resort is it is spacious and private. The pools never felt too crowded and it was easy to unwind. Family Retreat”
We stayed in the same resort about 10 years ago. It was such a memorable trip as the resort was better than expected at that time. Even after 10 years, everything is upgraded. The pool is big enough. The friendliness of staff is better. The only thing that does not meet my expectation is food quality. The breakfast menu should be upgraded. The juice bar is good. My suggestion is to add a healthy section or a salad bar with only 1 a la carte menu. The variety is not that important from my perspective. I am personally tired of the same buffet every day. Lastly, I appreciate a staff member whose name is Sofyan. He's proactive and adept in providing information at the right time. I recommend banyan tree bintan for a family with children with age difference - 11 years apart. I love a resort which is quiet and separated from the public. I've had such a great time with my family during the stay in BT. Hope to be back soon.

PRO: friendly and professional staff. Great nature atmosphere, feels like in a real forest. Room is well maintained, great views of the beach. Love the spa! CON: prepared for bugs, insects and ants. All restaurants are really overpriced, even charged $$$ bfast for 3rd & 4th kids 4-11yrs stay in the same room that has bfast package. No kids activities for 4-7yrs except swimming pool. Options are kids club in neighbour hotel Angsana catered for under 4yrs, or chargeable water activities for above 7yrs.
