Clean,friendly and right next to the beach”
Stayed here for 4 nights in early April. The hotel/rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is across the road from the beach, which we thought was nicer than Nha Trang’s beach. There were not as many tourists – hardly any in fact, and we never got hassled to buy anything really which made it even more relaxing. The down side to this location is you have to find transport to get into town cos its too far to walk. Most of the decent bars/restaurants are on the other side of the river. A taxi is about 50,000 dong ($2.50) one way and on the back of a motorbike is even cheaper. It may not sound like much but you can get a meal that sort of money. Also the hotel restaurant closed at about 730-8pm despite claiming it closed at 9. WiFi was really slow

Nice New Hotel”
Everything about the Hotel, Rooms and dining facility are good with people who care. But the spa I would avoid. This is the one liability that they have. The spa people are advertised in the hotel so it looks like it is part of them when in reality it is not. They do not wear uniforms and I would say the spa people are a bunch of bums. They tried to take advantage of me and only after Agoda stepped in was it made right. After that time I had to pass these same people because it's on the 3rd floor of the hotel and it was uncomfortable. They knew they tried to cheat me but that was supposed to be ok in their minds. These same people sit around the hotel property all day and night. They appear not to have any business so they are always in front of the hotel door and lobby area. This negative experience happened my first night and after observation, the type of massage this place is became more obvious. The hotel should get rid of these guys as the hotel is super. The people really care and just want people to be content.

Had a great stay here. Was only in Danang for one night, after arriving late in the airport. The staff here was very friendly, although spoke very little English. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast overlooking the ocean which was a surprise! The rooms were new and spacious, perfect for a one or two overnights.

my first trip to Da Nang and i had a great time , the view from our room was limited due to constructions taking place opposite the hotel , our room was very nice but due to no windows that could be opened there was a musty smell that was noticeable. great location , close to the beach and many restaurants to choose from .. overall id say for my experience 7/10

Nice, clean hotel near beach”
Nice hotel with large, clean rooms with wonderful view to near-by beach. Breakfast was typical vietnamese and not so many choices. Hotel has their own motor cycles for rent with nice prices - the best way for transportation around that big city and surroundings. Near the hotel and beach many good quality seafood restaurants with fresh fish.

Great Location with a splendid sea face view”
The hotel is located at a great location, close to the sea, got rooms facing the sea so it was a great experience to watch the sunrise and sunset. The rooms are good with a good aircon and most channels on the TV. The food in the restaurant is quite good but can be better. Housekeeping and the rest of the people are quite helpful, co operative and supporting. Overall had a great stay up there. The rooms and food are great compared to the prices. Will stay there again during my next visit in november.

Comfortable hotel with good location!”
i've had 3 days and 2 nights with my girl friend in truong son tung hotel which have nice view for my room 803! when you stay here you can walk to the pham van dong beach with the short time (about 3 minites). the hotel has good location so you can have many chooses to go your favourite amusement parks easily. if you have intended go to da nang with a bit of money i think you can think to truong son tung hotel!

nice hotel almost at beach with a lovely view to the beach. separate living and sleeping rooms were large and clean as well as large bathroom - nice. friendly and helpful staff even though nobody was capable to speak english. hotel had their own motor cycle for rent; nice to start - and come back - directly from/to the garage. lovely restaurants by the beach near the hotel.

View of sea/beach and Lady Buddah”
we booked a deluxe double ocean view room. there was no balcony but the view from the room was good as long as you looked either side of the crane being used to erect a building in front. not sure if the hotel is used to many western visitors though, as they did not seem to speak much english at reception or at breakfast. it was the only hotel we stayed at in vietnam that did not want to see our passports on check-in. check-in was very quick though, but they did not have a free map available of things to see/do in danang area. room was a little tired, with wires sticking out of the walls in a couple of places, and had a framed picture of a frog on the wall which seemed a rather unusal choice. no room safe or tea/coffee making facilities. no complementary bottles of water either, but it is available to buy from hotel or from shop across the road. plenty of taxi's outside hotel. breakfast ok with 3 fresh fruit selection, noodles, omelettes, soup etc. thought hotel was pretty good for $54 nzd (inclusive of breakfast) was nice taking some time out at china beach location for a night. quite relaxing after all the shopping in hoi an.

when we arrived the staff was pretty friendly but not extremely helpful. no one greeted us at the door when we entered or offered to help with our luggage to our rooms. when asked if we could have our passports copied and returned to us (rather than have the hotel keep them during our entire visit), the staff reluctantly complied but snickered at us as if it's was an odd request. but overall my stay was nice and adequate. the room was okay sized with a great view - it was located directly across from my khe beach. breakfast was okay as well. if you need a place to stay and would like to be near the beach, this would be a good place. if you are expecting anything more than this, then you may be slightly disappointed.

Basic But Near The Beach”
This hotel is more basic than its write-up might suggest, though it's definitely a decent place to stay. No safe in room. Services seemed inconsistent, for example I got a different combination of towels in my room each day and had to ask for shower soap on one occasion. Breakfast buffet was fairly standard, with the addition of some Chinese dishes, but I never saw anyone staffing the omelet bar. Beach is very close by, however the short walk (August 2011) down a trashy street that borders a construction site. (When completed, the building will block some of TST's views. Good shower. Odd elevators that sometimes "forget" your floor after making a stop. Large, empty, stark lobby. Owners are Amway sellers and there are posters in the breakfast room and Amway ads in rooms.

nice enough hotel, and good breakfast, but location is not so good. it is very close to the beach, but danang beach area is a sleepy beach town. there is nothing going on. skip it and just go to hoi ahn.

Amazing sea view, lovely staff”
stay in the sea view room and you'll be impressed by it's 3 glass paned window that offers a near 180 degree of my khe beach. you can literally see from son truong peninsula to the other end of the beach. the room was a bit small but the decor and cleanliness of the place more than made up for it. it was nice to be able to walk 2 minutes to get to the beach.

New hotel not a three star yet”
This new hotel is close to the beach and that is its strongest point. The lobby is large with attractive wall art. The staff is friendly with limited English skills, but it all works out. The 12th floor restaurant has a great view and the breakfast offers a wide variety of foods along with eggs cooked as you like them. My room,#803, was large, bright and clean. The view is very good but they cheaped out with small windows. The mini bar while well stocked could use snacks to go along with the beverages. The cabinet it was in provided a small flat surface to put things on. The bed was large and comfortably firm, but the bottom sheet did not fit. The wardrobe closet is to close to the bed, it could change places with desk and then it would be easier to use. There is nothing to set luggage on. The TV signal was sporadic and grainy. The two chairs are wooden slated and very uncomfortable, they could really use cushions. There are two unfinished light fixtures with only wires coming out of the wall. One bedside lamp has no outlet to plug it into. The only plug-in available to use in the room is next to the bed. The bathroom has a large tub, but the lighting is poor and could be improved a bit by cleaning the dead bugs from the ceiling fixture. The phone in the bathroom is a nice touch and its wiring provides a little chuckle. Also the walls need to be cleaned better. The garbage bags are to small to fit the receptacle in the room.

The room is spacious and very clean and the hotel staff are friendly. The hotel is very near to the beach which provides a great view and leisure walk along the beach is fantastic. Taxis are plentiful so there is not much problem with getting around.

Nice rooms but not much nearby”
The hotel is very new. I stayed in an oceanview room which had a very large bay view window. Too bad there was no balcony. Not a hotel to stay in during the rainy months as there is nothing to do nearby. There are four or five expensive restaurants nearby serving up per kilo lobster. The food in the hotel was very good and well priced.

Not a bad hotel”
Staff were nice and helpful and offered responded promptly to requests. Some spoke English. The hotel is a bit far from the Da Nang city centre but it is close to the beach - well, you have to cross a dual but low-traffic highway to get to it. There are local restaurants nearby.
