Staff are very friendly, sporty, cheerful, approachable and helpful. Most of them speak good English. They have initiativeness to show us location and places to visit. And at breakfast, they checked in if food and everything else was OK. They care. The room is very clean, comfortable chic n everything else is provided for. Even the tv is big. The breakfast is yummy. Pleasantly surprised with the variety. It is served in small portion which appeared appetizing, not over indulging. And the free flow of water is excellent. Very generous. Location is unexpectedly very good. After visited old city, I realised staying outside old city is better. Less traffic, less congested. In fact, the Saturday night market is jus a minute away. Very convenient. On other nights, there are stalls outside selling food like a mini night market . Also available are cafe, launderette, pharmacy which we found reasonable equipped with. I have no cons to tell... all good in this hotel we stayed for 5 nights and we had a wonderful time here in BED Chiang Mai Gate. I really appreciate the ppl managing this hotel thy are pleasant and always very helpful. Especially Ms Nurki she has a wonderful character and she has alot to offer for travel tips where to go etc. What i like about this hotel is you feel that you are special because thy talk to you and greet you every morning and breakfast was so good. You can also find good tour company nearby to arrange for your trip to chiang rai, elephant care etc. And every where is walking distance if you dont mind walking. Chiang mai gate is just a short walk. And.night bazaar also about 1.5km walking. There are plenty of nice bakery shop and restaurant around the hotel too. For those who look for place to stay in chiang mai this is the place you wont regret!

The BEST hotel you will ever stay at”
Seriously, the BED hotels in Chiang Mai are simply the best. This is my second stay at a BED Hotel in Chiang Mai. The first one being BED Nimman. I love them both. They have done a great job setting up and furnishing these hotels, they have everything you need/want, and everything works really well. BED hotels are like the Apple products of the hotel industry. The breakfast is super amazing at both BED properties I have stayed at. All home made every morning, by a true chef, who takes real pride in his work. Amazing!spresso, Chilled glass bottled water, Soda, Fruit, and real fruit popsicles available for free anytime you want, 24hrs per day. So, the property, food, amenities, location are all great. BUT, what really makes me say this is the best hotel you will ever stay at is because of the staff. The staff at the BED locations are unbelievable, super nice, smart, great english, welcoming and helpful. Stop looking, book BED now, you will love it.

Lovely Stay”
From the lovely greeting when I arrived, to the beautiful clean large room, everything about my stay was wonderful. The staff are always so friendly, the pool,is cool but beautifully refreshing! Coffee, tea, cocoa and bottled water available free 24/7. There is a safe in the room, plus hair dryer, desk, large flat screen tv and a three way bathroom! I am currently staying on the ground floor and have a lovely little bench outside surrounded by greenery. Can not recommend this hotel too highly. So impressed, I hope to stay again one day.

I had stayed for twice in different BED in Chiang Mai during my vacation. BED never disappointed me with their great services and facilities. Their breakfast very very good. Great location for this BED, just came out from alley, there you can see the Chiang Mai Gate . Besides, weekend night market (Saturday night market) also 3mins walk from BED. I will come back again!

BED - wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chiang Mai”
Absolutely loved this place. We stayed at the Chiang Mai Gate Hotel just outside the city gates which to be honest was a bit of an oasis from the city. So close to everything including the Saturday night market. We really appreciated the quiet signs that go up in the corridors from 9pm every evening, the beautiful breakfasts, the free water and hot drinks and free soft drink minibar and the wonderfully helpful staff. We found an incredible Veggie Restaurant called Aum not far from the Hotel and a little bar round the corner called Doo Dee which also does wonderful food which we visited every night. Also lots of laundry options nearby. Would so recommend this place.

It has been great staying at this hotel. The hotel is within 5 mins walk to nearby night hawker food stalls, mini cafes, 7-eleven and pharmacies. We were greeted with excellent staff and services during our 5 night stay. Breakfast is of good quality and variety. There is a central hot water dispenser at the lobby and we have to go down every time we need hot water as no kettle is catered in the room. Would like the room be supplied with a thermo flask to save multiple trips to collect hot water. Overall good experience with this hotel.

The location, cleanliness, service and breakfast all are great. We love the free compliments drink, 24hr hot coffee , fruit and instant noodle. We love the staffs, all are frendly and helpful with cheery smile, we love the bed so comfortable, we love the breakfast, and many little thing they do, can feel they really care.

Every single, well-thought-out detail here was on point, from the room design to the abundant amenities to the stellar service and overall ethos! Literally not one thing we could even quibble about, other than the fact that the extensive, always changing breakfast spread was so delicious that we couldn’t bear to skip it, even when planning to eat breakfast elsewhere, such as at the nearby morning market (highly recommended too). This place has raised the bar for our SE Asia travels! Book early as it’s beloved and often sold out for a reason.

Close to everything”
We stayed at BED Phra Singh before and this is our 1st time staying at BED Chiang Mai Gate. We love the black & white tone of this hotel and we enjoyed the staffs hospitality, especially Nurki. Hotel is located a 3 minutes walk to Chiang Mai Gate. Here you can experience the local life style in the morning and try out all sorts of food at nighttime. Also easy access to public transport as well. We enjoyed our stay at BED. Also the free flow of bottled water. Thanks Nurki.

Every staff was so kind.They want to solve the all problem. The location is great to go to saturday night market. The breakfast is simple but good for light meal. Only 1 problem is the smell in the room because of a drain. It'll be great when they fix the drain system.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every morning and evening here! Superb breakfast bar with a little change up each day! Staff was extremely helpful and always anxious to please.
