Great 5D4N stay”
Location was the best among all the good things they have to offer. It’s the best area along the stretch of Alona Beach. Literally beachfront unlike other hotels— first sight of the sea when you wake up in the morning. Nice breakfast meals, wonderful staff and crew, very hospitable, nice room ambiance, clean toilets and rooms, reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning works fine, cable TV worked well and water pressure is good (aside from the heated shower, quite weak). Twice we had a power outage so air conditioning went off but they have backup generators so all good and this is something beyond their control. But apart from that, really had an awesome and relaxing stay!

Exceptional”
Our stay at Blue Ocean Bohol Beachfront was a winner. My family enjoyed our stay. It may not be the type of hotel that others would opt for but for us it was perfect for our needs. The placed lived up to its name "blue ocean bohol beachfront" as its literally nestles infront of Alona beach away from the busy/crowded part of the beach. Staff were kind & helpful. Different shops, restos, convnience stores are within walking distance. I recommend travelers to book an airport transfer because the access to the property is quite far from the main street of Panglao but the calmness & serenity of the place was all worth it. A bit of a challenge in exchange for a perfect respite from the hustle of the metro? Why not!!!! Perfect stay!!! Thanks.

Setting correct expectations: Just remember that they used “resort” in the name of this hotel very loosely. There are a few real resorts at Alona beach and the Blue Ocean is not one of them. But if you’re searching for a really unforgettable beachfront ocean views from the balcony of a large well decorated clean room with a shower that has hot water - look no further. A quaint gem with friendly staff and super fast WiFi. Just not a resort.

The hotel is just walks away from the beach. No need for long walks! The view is very nice, you could already see and feel the sea just from your balcony. The place is very relaxing as it is situated at the end of the Alona beach. No unnecessary noise and such, very peaceful indeed. The room is big and has rooms for your big luggages. The wifi is also excellent, especially inside the rooms! The breakfast is okay but fulfilling. Though they do not have a restaurant but many are there along the beach and it is very nice to get a good stroll along the beach before and after you eat. They also offer free airport transportation, just contact them. What I love the most here are the hotel's dogs!

Best part of Alona Beach”
Our room was spacious for 4 adults & 1 kid. It was clean and everything worked well. We could see the beach from our room and just steps away. The beach was the best and cleanest part of the strip in Alona. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Staff were courteous and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Best Hotel in Panglao”
A bit pricey compare to others but you get the value of your money. Facilities are well maintained. My parents love our rooms; room 5 and the attic. Best location its a Beachfront Resort. Superb, kind, friendly and very accommodating staff and of course the owner itself. my sister contacted her to surprise with cake and balloons. We will recommend you to our friends and families. thank you very much! til our next stay.

Very relaxing stay”
The whole stay was great! We had free airport pick-up to hotel. Breakfast was good and a lot. The place is beach front and the beach view was wonderful. It is near the road so you don't have to walk too far when you get picked-up for your land tours. There's not a lot of store around, have to walk about 5 mins to get to the center. Staff was friendly and attentive. Overall stay was great! I would recommend this resort.

Lovely stay. Gorgeous views. Beachfront. Big room. ”
We had a terrific time at Blue Ocean. First of all, they offered us free van service to and from the Hotel (to Panglao airport), which was super convenient. The staff were super friendly. The best thing about this hotel is the quiet location and the fantastic view (and access) of the beach and sea. They have a nice little lounge area in front where you can read a book, or sunbathe. Beachfront! Our view from the 2nd floor family room is jaw-dropping. The ocean greeted us every time we looked out the window. The room was big w/ cute decor. Big, comfy beds. The day bed is big too. Good aircon and electric fan. TV with cable channels. Wifi is strong. Big refrigerator. Heated shower with good water pressure. Plated breakfast is simple, but the service and views are awesome. Room has a balcony and they have racks where you can dry your clothes after swimming. They don't have a restaurant though, but there are plenty of restos nearby (5-10 minute stroll). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! <3

Awesome stay! Location is superb (less crowded area) and the beach is just a few steps away from the room which was perfect for my 2 yr old daughter. Staffs are friendly and accommodated my requests. They also allowed us with an early checkin and late checkout which is perfect for our flight schedules. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The room is spacious for 5 people. The location is excellent because the beach is right infront of you when you open your door. The area is private and peaceful since it’s in the end of the beach strip. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We swear to come back here soon!

Exceptional”
Beach and sea area was partially roped off some of the time, but frequent passage of powered boats through the swimming area was an unnecessary hazard. This 6 room resort was right on a beautiful white sand, clean beach. There were several comfortable places to sit. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Resort was at the quiet, far end of Alona Beach. Several restaurants were a short walk away. No pool - didn't miss it. We would stay there again.

Trip cut short due to Covid-19, but lovely!”
Unfortunately the day we arrived, there was an announcement that Bohol would be shutting it's borders so we had to make arrangments to cut our time short and leave the following day. The accommodation was lovely, the staff all very pleasant, breakfast was delicious, and the beach out front was perfect for the kids for snorkeling, playing in the sand, and collecting sea stars. The hotel was very generous and compassionate in refunding the remainder of our booked nights, for which we were grateful and makes us want to return even more! We'll be back!

Best beachfront view!”
Perfect ang view! The resort is not just beachfront but actually literally steps away from the beach. The beach is at your doorstep 😄 perfect for coffee at sunrise. When you open the door in your room you can hear the waves while lying in your bed. The rooms are big and spacious, clean, water pressure is okay, breakfast is good too and the staff are helpful. I think the price is okay na din since it’s the beachfront experience they offer. They’re at the far end of the beach so it’s a lot quieter and less crowd. It’s near the meeting point for the island tour. They also rent kayak. It’s perfect for families and for those who are looking for some peace and quiet at the beach😊

Location, location, location”
It is on the quieter end of Alona beach. The view from your room is fantastic. The furnishings are basic but cleanliness is more important. I gave 4 star for facilities because there is no pool but the beach is what you came for. Will come again next year.
