The Blue Palms is only 0.5 miles from Bournemouth’s beaches and 5 minutes' walk from the Bournemouth International centre. The town centre, with its variety of restaurants, shops and cafés, is less than 2 minutes' walk. The bright, airy rooms at Blue Palms feature an en suite bathroom, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, and a hairdryer. A full English breakfast menu is served daily. Location is excellent - just 5 minutes walk from centre and 10 minutes from the beach. Very comfortable bed. Host excellent, very welcoming and informative.

Location excellent. Fan provided in room. Landlady could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Room a good size and clean. Towels changed efficiently. Comfortable bed.
Accommodation was advertised as a a twin room on booking.com but on arrival landlady said she had no twin rooms. Breakfast could have been better.

The owner was very friendly and gave excellent advice on places to eat and things to do in the area. They always greated me warmly and had a pleasant smile.
Unfortunately they couldn't offer food on site due to covid and spacing in the dining area, but did offer an array of places nearby to get food and drink.

We felt comfortable, Mary and John were excellent hosts but the cost was too much for what it was”

The hosts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made us feel very welcome. We booked the stay for my wife’s birthday and when Mary knew this she upgraded our room. They also helped us out with parking. The property wasn’t too far from the beach and Bournemouth shopping centre. The room was clean although there were a couple of light stains on the carpet but with it being a dark colour it was hardly noticeable. Having a fridge in the room was a plus and Mary provided fresh milk so we were able to make a nice morning tea / coffee. The TV in the room was larger than normal. The bed was spacious and comfortable. Overall the room was clean and comfortable with nice furnishings
The en-suite bathroom was a bit small and we had to squeeze into the shower because the doors didn’t open very wide. The property was a bit further away from the beach / town than we expected, walking to them was ok as it was downhill but walking back up was sometimes challenging, depending on how much we had eaten ! The outside of the property didn’t look like the pictures on Booking.com and would probably benefit from a lick of paint ? The property was graded as 4* on Booking.com but it didn’t match with our expectations with what 4* accommodation should be. On that basis we felt the cost of staying here was too much compared with similar properties in the area

Charming B&B, perfect spot and friendly hosts!”

Fantastic location - super easy to get to the town centre, shops and restaurants and beach, all within walking distance. Clean and comfortable and very accommodating. Full English breakfast everyday was just what we needed to set us up for the days ahead!
